The toil of frequenting a meat space casino should suffice to give up on it altogether. It’s not required to leave the comfort of your home to have a go at online video poker simply because it can be easily accessed from your domestic environment if you have a working computer and, obviously, a functional Internet connection. Though allowing for this, I’d recommend you go on reading for there are a number of suggestions which you need to appreciate in regards to online video poker, the more so if you’re still green.

Click here for the best links gambling here.

The top priority which a bright internet plunger like me will be certain to check out is an online video poker web site of the category that is prepared to guarantee top odds. Make sure the online video poker web site is evaluated by a secure and honest certified public accountants firm in order to inspect their wagers pay-outs consistently. Always be sure to ensure the online casino gaming web site is licensed verifiably, such as by looking for the ministerial license on the webpage. If it’s not possible to track down any ministerial license on a particular online casino gaming web site, don’t even think of gambling on that site.

Further advice would obviously be to place your wager initially in negligible amounts in lieu of dole out big amounts of money off the cuff. First thing, check the status of the online casino gaming organization rather than going for any serious adversity- the more so in regards to money… Finally, here is another notable word of wisdom in regards to online gaming. It is bound to be to always remind yourself that online wagering is about amusement rather than big bucks. Casino wagering is certainly no vocation, but, instead, a leisure pursuit which should help you become bright and life as a whole pleasant. And now, having gone along with these recommendations, set out to succumb to the pull of online casino gaming.

Santa Clause comes to us with several names. For some he is know as Saint Nicholas, and for others Father Christmas or quite simply Santa. While people interchange Santa and Father Christmas from an historical perspective they are two different persons.

It was Saint Nicholas of Myra, who lived in the 4th century in what is now modern day Turkey, who gave birth to the modern day Santa Clause. As bishop he developed a reputation for secret gift giving.

In the Western tradition the day of gift giving is on the 25th December while in the Eastern tradition the day for gift giving is New Years Day.

Most of us see Santa as a friendly, pot bellied sort of character who rides from house to house, through the sky, on a sleigh pulled by reindeer. It is possible that the tradition of ridding through the sky comes from a Germanic tradition where the god Wodam is seen riding a flying horse through the sky. The horse has eight legs, the same number of reindeer that Santa uses!

While Santa is portrayed as a jolly man giving out present to deserving children he is also used to keep children in check. Traditionally Irish children, and a large number of their European and American counterparts, hang up a stocking for their gifts but are told that if they are not good all year round, they will receive a lump of coal instead of a decent present.

In most traditions food or drink are left out for him to help him on his journey. In Ireland it is traditionally a bottle of Guinness, in America cookies and a glass of milk, in England he receives mince pies and sherry. No wonder then that he is perceived as a happy pot bellied character!

How then did St. Nicholas make the transformation from a bishop to a jolly old man with red cheeks. The transformation did not happen all at once but over a period of time and goes back before the American revolution to the time when the Dutch controlled what is now New York. When the Dutch arrived in America they took with them the legend of Saint Nicholas, at this stage he still dressed as a bishop.

In Washington Irving’s History of New York, Sinterklaas was Americanised to “Santa Claus” but lost his bishop’s apparel, and was at first pictured as a thick bellied Dutch sailor with a pipe in a green winter coat. Irving’s book was a lampoon of the Dutch culture of New York, and much of this portrait is his joking invention.

Santa Clauses robes changed over the years until in 1885 the modern costume was born. At around this time his horse was converted to reindeer and a sleigh, his slaves into elves and the date was moved forward to coincide with Christmas.

For those interested Santa’s eight reindeers were given their name in the popular poem by Clement Clarke Moore ‘the Night Before Christmas.’

Many marketers and product developers make a disastrous mistake:
They develop and sell products that nobody wants.

This is usually how it goes: The product developer starts
programming software or writing a book, just because he is
interested in the subject, without looking at the market. Then
once the product is ready, he starts promoting it, just to find
out he can make no sales.

There must be a better way. Let’s look at how it should be done
instead.

You should always create a product that solves a problem. The
problem has to be serious enough for people to want to pay for a
solution to their problem. Good examples are: People who are
overweight are willing to pay for a solution to that problem.
People who suspects that their husband or wife is cheating on
them are willing to pay to find out. People who can save a lot
of time by automating a time-consuming task are willing to pay
for the saved time.

So here are the simple steps to creating a successful product:

1. Identify a common problem There are many problems that need
to be solved in this world. The problem has to be a common one,
so that enough people need a solution to this problem. And the
problem has to be important enough so that people are willing to
pay for a solution

2. Provide a solution to the problem This is the product
development phase. You have to solve a product that actually
solves the problem that these people are experiencing.

3. Find people experiencing the problem This simply means that
you need targeted advertising. Where to find your target
audience will depend on the specific problem. Maybe you will
find them on search engines. Make sure that your keywords are
very specifically targeted at those who experience the problem
you want to solve. Or maybe you can find your target audience in
certain communities, such as online forums or self help groups.

4. Prove that your solution works Once you have found your
target audience, they will only be willing to buy your solution
once you prove to them that your solution actually works. The
proof can be social proof (such as testimonials), or it can
consist of examples of the results. If you are selling software
that removes red eyes from photos, the proof can consist of
before and after pictures.

That is really all there is to it. Follow the simple steps as
outlined above and your product is a guaranteed success.

All the varieties of firms, including restaurants, should wish to consider thinking of getting public liability insurance. A enterprise might often want this type of protective insurance to cover a variety of situations including a customer tripping over an ill-fitted floor lining on your business premises. Public business liability insurance will cover all legal charges and compo awarded to a member of the public that has received a broken arm & damage caused by you or your business.

Organisations who desire to secure a public liability insurance cover may review the T’s and C’s as many may void the insurance claim if there are certain situations. The very best advice to do is to examine with the insurance advisor the policy in detail.

Insured Risks are an awesome company which provide public liability insurance at outstanding prices. Having insurance is not a strict condition for all companies, still many government firms can require you have liability insurance in order to make available the services to them. Insured Risks make available protective insurance levels of up to 3 millions pounds, & is perfectly suited for small businesses such as cleaners, or possibly large corporations such as marketing agencies, Looking for a business insurance quote? Contact Insured Risks for Business Insurance.

Public liability insurance will often help to reduce risk if you are running a small business. The law does dictate that if you cause damage to someone else or maybe their business property then you might often have to pay the cost of damage. Public liability will protect your organization from going down the drains if the worst happen.

In the army, we called it preventive maintenance. After I retired from the Army I spent some time as a truck driver and truck driving instructor for one of the largest trucking companies in the United States. They were big on preventive maintenance as well. Later I owned my own truck, and took what I had learned and made it a part of the way I ran my business. It’s paid me back many times in NOT being broken down by the side of the road, NOT having to pay for major repairs, and NOT having to wonder if my vehicle was going to do something nasty on a long trip or a run to the grocery store.

I think it’s fair to say that most of us realize that preventive maintenance, rotating tires, changing oil, checking the battery and the cooling system, is the most important aspect of car ownership that prolongs the life of the vehicle and cuts maintenance costs.

However, of all the preventive things we can and should do to keep our car running efficiently and perhaps improve the retail value, there is one act which is consistantly recommended by car care specialists. Regular oil changes.

Long engine life depends on regular oil changes, and the engine itself is one of the most expensive components to replace or repair. The oil within the engine does not simply lubricate moving parts thereby saving direct wear and tear by friction. The oil within the engine, at its most efficient, helps provide a cooling function. This is very important for long engine life, as heat is the great destroyer of most machines, including the engine in your car.

Oil breaks down over time. Simply put, it loses its ability to lubricate the moving parts within the engine. This allows wear and tear through friction and breakdown of seals and other components through heat. In addition to the normal breakdown of the oil, it also becomes contaminated by things such as dirt or antifreeze. Even the additives in oil, which are there to improve its performance, gradually begin to breakdown themselves.

As the oil and the contaminants begin to lose their original ability to lubricate and cool the engine and its parts, they begin to form sludge that begins its own wearing process as it also impairs the efficiency of the engine.

Severe types of driving take their toll as well. You don’t do any driving under severe conditions? Here’s a surprise. If you do a lot of stop and go, short trips to the store or mall, or drive in cold weather, you are driving your car under severe conditions. Even a car parked for a long period of time is subject to oil contamination due to moisture accumulation.

The usual recommendation once was to change your engine oil every 3 months or 3,000 miles, whichever comes first. This is still a reasonable rule of thumb, but if you do drive under severe conditions, you may want to consider changing oil a little more often, and always change the oil filter as well. You should check your owner’s manual to determine what the manufacturer of your car recommends.

Make sure that you are using the correct oil for your vehicle. The type of oil required should be listed in your owner’s manual. If you don’t have an owner’s manual, a call or visit to a local automotive parts store or garage should turn up the correct information. While many prefer certain brands of oil, the brand or price is less important than the frequency of the oil changes. The idea is to change the oil before there is a chance for breakdown of the oil. If you think you might go too long between oil changes, you might want to use a synthetic motor oil, as these tend to retain their lubrication affect longer and more evenly than standard petroleum based motor oil.

While this article is fairly specific in nature and deals with mainly one item in a vast range of maintenance points, you can learn more about oil changes and other maintenance issues by visiting such sites as http://www.aoca.org/, the web site of the Automotive Oil Change Association.

Regular oil changes, and this includes changing oil filters as well, are probably the most effective means of prolonging the life of your car, and its value as well.

The author is retired from the Army after 21 years of service, has worked as an accountant, optical lab manager, restaurant manager, over-the-road longhaul truck driver and truck driving instructor. He has been a member of Mensa for several years, and has written and published poetry, essays, and articles on various subjects for the last 40 years. His experiences as a longhaul truck driver who owned his own truck led him to follow-up on various methods of saving money on operating costs while prolonging the life of his equipment.

A single-parent rose from obscurity in 8 years to become today the greatest woman celebrity, the richest woman (even richer than Her Majesty, the Queen of England) in the U.K, all through the power of imagination expressed through the power of her fingers!! She held the world spell-bound (270 million copies of her books sold so far).

Publishers, Film-makers, Agents, musical artists, youngsters and parents are all feeding from her fingers. The stocks of publishing companies rose in obedeience to her graceful fingers. A treasure, dug out of the obscure cafes of Edinburg! A pen of destiny, buried under a series of personal misfortunes, wrote and waited for seven years, before discovery.

I am talking of the one, and only creator of the ‘Harry’ that smashed every available ‘Potter’s’ vessels. I mean the one who broke the global box office records- Ms. J.K. Rowling, who conquered and arrested world attention in order to teach the the world the greatest lesson of all times i.e: ‘THE MEEK SHALL INHERIT THE EARTH’. Fame sought her and refused to fade! Grace lifted her from shame and refused to be erased!! Stigma saw her, got unstuck, and took flight after her wedding in 2001!!!

Can a person be enthroned but refuse to reign? All hail ‘Mummy Jessy’, the sceptre of thy kingdom is the sceptre of HUMILITY, and unto thee shall all thy people bow! I have long ago, in my literary race, learnt to line-up with the Father of creativity- GOD ALMIGHTY, I line up with the creator of your resillient virtues!

What others, in her position, would rather relish and rollick in, is what our sister found great displeasure in. The harder she sought anonymity, the greater she gained celebrity status and fame. Hear out her ‘heart-kicks’: “one of my regrets would be that I will never again have the pleasure of sneeking into a cafe, any cafe I like, sitting down and diving into my world, and no one knowing what I am doing, and no one bothering about me, and being totally anonymous, that fantastic”

You don’t sell 270 million copies of 5 books, interpreted into 62 languages, including Chinese, and not expect your craving for anonymity to be torn to shreds!

Talking of records; never in publishing history has the first print run of a book amassed up to 10.8 million copies. Never also, in publishing history has 9 million copies of a book (I mean, her latest and 6th serial) been sold on the first day of its release!

The movies from her first three books havs grossed in over $2.6 Billion Dollars. In fact this terrific author, having no other records to break, behaved true to type - begun like the skillful ‘Potter’ that she is, to smash her own ‘pots’ to pieces, for better vessel than she had ever created.

‘Pottermania’ has entered into the lexicon of the of the entertainment industry. The multi-million Dollar licensing deals for Harry Potter products testified to this. Films, stamps, cauldren, glasses, wands, caps, cotumes, musical albums… all give trademark endorsements of the terrific imagery conjured from the mind of this humble genius called J.K. Rowling.

To the skeptics who speculate the death of the Harry Potter brand in the next 3 to 4 years, I have this to say: half a century to come this classic would still occupy a prime place on bookshelves and bookstores. To imagine the death of her works is akin to speculating the death of CREATIVITY. God will spare her of their evil imagination.

Aderemi Ojikutu (Aderaskeey) is a Motivational Author and Youth Mentor. He is a minister of the Word of God. A political economist and political leader. He is President of the TREASURE WRITERS CLUB in Nigeria(http://ryze.com/go/Aderaskeey). He is also the current President of the National Democratic Forum (N.D.F). He was National Mobilisation Officer of the National Association of Nigerian Students (N.A.N.S) for several years.

You’ve heard of life insurance, where you get a payout if you die, but what is this ‘Whole Life Insurance’ term that gets bandied about? Put simply, whole life insurance is insurance that stays in place for the entire duration of your life. The only thing you have to do to guarantee that it stays current is to keep up with the premiums scheduled by your company.

A whole life policy will pay out the agreed amount no matter when you die, and it will also increase in value over time. Sounds pretty simple thus far, and indeed it is. Whole life policies have a little extra built in when compared to other policies however, in the form of dividends.

Dividends become payable if insurance business is good, and if the policies are being drawn on as expected or at a lower rate than expected. Basically, if not too many people are dying, and the company is making plenty of money, then the company will pay some of the premiums back to the policy holder.

You don’t usually get to spend this money as cash however, it can normally be used only to pay for term insurance, in the purchase of more insurance, or to cover your premiums. However, unlike other insurance policies, it can often be borrowed against as the investment grows.

These policies tend to be more expensive than other forms of life insurance, like term insurance which covers you only for a specific period of time. In fact, whole life insurance will tend to cost you more than it will pay out in the first few years, so it is worth taking a realistic look at your own likelihood of mortality before investing in these types of policy.

Whole life policies offer a superior level of cover and security, but it is security that you will definitely be paying for. Whether or not this type of policy is for you will depend very much on your personal situation, and your willingness to invest early for maximum benefit.

Next week is options expiration week, which is typically volatile. Also, important economic reports next week may generate even greater volatility. The Fed (i.e. Federal Reserve) has adopted a “data dependent” policy, which makes inflation related reports most important for the stock market.

Next week economic reports are: Mon–None, Tue–Retail Sales, and Business Inventories, Wed–Capacity Utilization, Industrial Production, Empire State Index, Net Foreign Purchases, Oil Inventories, Thu–Building Permits, Housing Starts, Import & Export Prices, Unemployment Claims, and Fri–PPI, Michigan Consumer Sentiment, Philadelphia Fed.

Inflation related reports are Capacity Utilization, Import Prices, Unemployment Claims, and the PPI. Moreover, the market may perceive strong production and consumption as inflationary, although weak growth with inflation, i.e. stagflation, is also of concern. One month of data don’t make a trend. Nonetheless, the market may react strongly to these reports.

Over the next few weeks, the market will estimate future monetary policy by tying together recent economic reports. Real economic growth is expected to pick-up this quarter to above 3% from the 1% growth rate in the fourth quarter. So, inflation data will be of particular concern.

The unwinding of options will also generate volatility. Some Feb Max Pain expirations are: SPX 1,275 with the value of calls roughly three times greater than the value of puts, OEX 575 with the value of calls over three times more than puts, and QQQQ 42 with the value of calls about 25% greater than puts.

The chart below is an SPX daily chart. Last week, SPX traded within the Dec consolidation area (also, see extended Price-by-Volume bar on left side of chart) roughly between 1,250 and 1,275. Feb Max Pain expirations indicate SPX will trade in the consolidation area again next week. However, the following week, SPX should break to the upside or downside.

In late Jan, the MACD indicator moved towards a potential bullish crossover and then gave a bearish kiss (see circle). Consequently, SPX fell shortly afterwards. Currently, MACD is moving towards another potential bullish crossover, which may determine a breakout above 1,275 or breakdown below 1,250.

The recent bearish megaphone pattern (of higher highs and lower lows) favors a breakdown. However, a MACD crossover may cause a powerful short-term bounce, while another bearish kiss may cause a breakdown below the lower line of the megaphone pattern. Nonetheless, uncertainty about monetary policy may persist for several more weeks, while the market and the Fed are “data dependent.”

Several years ago I began an online business.

At the time, the field I was entering was not all that crowded, search engine algorithms were much easier to manipulate, and links from relevent sites were not too tough to come by.

In short - if you wanted traffic, and were willing to do a little footwork, you could get it.

Over the past few years, things have changed.

Almost by accident, I stumbled upon a method for increasing, quite dramatically, the number of visitors to my website.

It turns out that almost everybody can design a really cool website…but very few people can write an interesting article. Writing is not a skill which is crucial in todays world, and very few can do it well.

(I, on the other hand, have the opposite problem…it’s one of the few thing I can do well)

So, what is a webmaster to do if he wants to provide well written content to his visitors? Obviously, he needs to get somebody else to write it for him.

That leaves two options:

1. Pay cold hard cash to a professional writer.

2. Find a way to entice good writers to write good content for free.

3. Trade something of value for well written content.

My father once told me that there’s no such thing as a free lunch. I believe he was correct, so option 2 is out.

That leaves paying or trading as the only viable options.

Most webmasters have opted for trading.

But what, you may ask, do they have to trade?

The trading arrangement which has evolved is one of wriiten content in exchange for a hyperlink.

Hyperlinks are gold in today’s Internet economy. The more links a website has back to it, the higher it will rank in the search engines.

Therefore, if I, as a webmaster, can obtain several hundred relevent links to my website, my search engine rank goes way up, and I end up with a ton of visitors.

Do you see the possibilites? If you’re a decent writer, you can end up having your articles published all over the Internet, with hyperlinks galore pointing back to your website.

“But how” you ask, “do I hook up with website owners who will publish my articles?”.

Basically, there are several large article repositories online which will allow you to post your articles. Some of these are:

Go Articles
Article Beam
iSnare
Article Factory
Ezine Articles

There are actually quite a few more, if you do a search in Google.

Write a few articles, post them, and see what happens!

Ever heard of the Fuller Brush Man? You know, those legendary guys who came knocking on the front doors of America, selling brushes, mops and cleaners?

I was one of them, back in my early twenties.

I had just quit a job in an employment agency after four-and-a-half very long, very stressful days.

Confined for eight hours a day to an incredibly tiny cubicle, ear pressed to the phone calling through the yellow pages trying to find job listings, then on my very first interview having to lie to a girl about a fictitious job the boss had advertised to pull in applicants. (Can you say bait-and-switch?)

That girl knew I was lying, and when she walked out the door, I walked out, too, almost on her heels.

So when I started a new job selling door-to-door, it seemed like heaven in comparison. No cubical - I was outdoors in the June sunshine and balmy breezes. No telephone - I was talking to people face to face.

And no lying. If I didn’t think a product measured up, I simply didn’t put it in my case; I only showed what I thought was the best.

I was ecstatic from the first minute of the first day.

Every house I walked up to, my heart sang and I said over and over to myself, “I am SO-O-O-O-O-O glad to be out here and not trapped in that cubical.”

I was deliriously happy to be where I was. Overjoyed to be doing what I was doing.

And sell? Man, I sold just about half of all the people I talked to. Back in the early sixties, a hundred-dollar-day was the holy grail of Fuller Brush men. Sales people would stay out till eight or nine o’clock every night trying to nail that hundred dollar mark.

But not me. I knocked off every afternoon about five or five-thirty with $120 or $130 worth of receipts in my order book.

Then, after a few weeks, something quietly changed. My sales began to sag. Each morning saw me going out a little less enthusiastic. I spent increasing amounts of time trying to figure out what was going wrong.

After a few months, I left that job, utterly disappointed in myself.

Afterwards I wondered how I could have taken something so obviously perfect for me and messed it up so badly.

In fact, that question followed me, haunted me for twenty long years. Eventually, though, I figured it out.

The secret had been right in front of my nose all those years, but just as a fish can’t see the water it swims in, I had been unable to repeat that undeniable success.

My big secret? It was simple, really.

I had filled my mind with thankfulness - undiluted gratitude - unreserved joy at being right where I was, doing exactly what I was doing.

Then, twenty years later, when I started being thankful again - but deliberately, this time - my life changed back.

Suddenly, all sorts of “serendipitous” things started occurring. People I barely knew started bringing me terrific opportunities.

Mark this: Joyous stuff started happening AFTER I went back to being overjoyed with my life.

Make no mistake - there were still challenges that needed to be dealt with. But I stopped seeing “problems” as personal affronts deliberately sent by life to impede me. In fact, with the right mindset, I couldn’t see problems at all. Instead, they looked like fascinating puzzles to solve and games to enjoy sorting out.

And even now, anytime I feel life becoming a bit too stressful, a bit too heavy, a bit less fun, I make myself stop and - against all logic - I start looking at all the stuff around me and calling it good.

And yes, I even make myself say, “I am SO-O-O-O-O glad to be right here, right now.” And I don’t stop saying that until I can feel it taking hold.

Now, I realize that on the surface, there is absolutely no logic to this practice… except for one tiny thing.

It works.

So if you decide to try this approach, do this: make a list of all your major problems and start through them, one at a time, saying, “I am so glad this is happening. This is actually very interesting now that I look at it closely, and I’m lucky to be here so I can gain some great new knowledge from this. I am SO-O-O-O-O glad.”

Warning: you’ve got to put some real oomph into it. Some real feeling. Just saying the words without working up some enthusiasm is like writing a letter without a pen in your hand. You’re going through all the motions, but no communication takes place.

So do that, and keep doing it till it starts taking hold.

How can you tell when it’s taking hold?

There are two signs. First, you begin to lose that tense, blocked, frustrated feeling. And second, your life starts working FOR you instead of AGAINST you. Lots of little things start going right instead of wrong. People begin treating you like you’ve always wanted them to.

And you go to bed each night feeling like you’ve just had a wonderful day.

If you’ve tried and tried all the logical stuff and your life is still a mess, try being illogical. Try being thankful for everything you’ve got.

Including the mess.

And you’ll find, just as I have, that indeed there is a miracle in every mess.
