Yaz side effects are so commonplace that there are now legal recourses available to support the large amount of young ladies affected by them. Yasmin side effects are unsafe and even lethal. Steps that need to be taken if you feel that you are entitled to restitution are to foremost talk with your primary care physical to affirm that Yasmin is really the cause of your symptoms, then you should actually find legal advice. It is essential that you save the packaging and any leftover product, as well as any patient instructions that came with the packaging.

In 2008, Yaz was the top contraceptive pill sold in the United States. Yasmin has many similar side effects as other birth control pills. Nonetheless, the FDA claimed that the Yaz advertisements downplayed the potential life-threatening side effects. If you are one of numerous young ladies taking the contraceptive pill called Yaz, you should be mindful of the potential side effects if you aren’t already. These Yasmin side effects by no means cover every single attainable illness or injury Yaz may cause; so if you have suffered from other symptoms, do not disregard the fact that Yasmin may be liable.

If you have sustained any of these serious Yaz side effects, or are concerned for a friend, do not delay any longer. Meet a lawyer immediately to find out if you qualify for an award. Yaz producers and distributors have made millions from the sale of this likely dangerous drug, and it is time that they now begin to pay for the hurt that they have caused to consumers. In any event, you can further explore your options through a Google search of either Yaz side effects or Yaz lawsuit.

Big Pharma Injures Healthy Women with Ocella Side Effects

Filed under:The Lawyers Way, Life Of Health, Political Activism — posted on November 28, 2009 @ 8:57 pm

Drospirenone is just one of the elements ascribed to the onset of Yaz side effects reported regularly in America. Drospirenone is an ingredient allegedly unlike other progestins in the United States and was not employed in America before appeared in Yasmin, Yaz and Ocella. Also consider that the Food & Drug Administration released warning letter to the makers of Ocella, Yasmin and Yaz for using low-quality batches of drospirenone from Germany and you have the makings of a cautionary tale involving Big Pharma and its neglect for the wellbeing of the consumers utilizing its pills.

There are already numerous lawsuits filed in various counties across the country against the birth control maker. This number is expected to reach 1,000. Typically, those effected by Yaz, Yasmin, and Ocella can submit a case evaluation at TheLegalAdvocate.com to have an attorney review their information in order to be provided with answers and hopefully legal representation.

Any women that have been wounded as a result of taking Yaz, Yasmin or Ocella may be entitled to an award. Many attorneys and legal counsel agencies such as thelegaladvocate.com now offer assistance to anyone going through side effects and health issues as a direct result of using Yasmin contraception. Now that more adult females across the U.S. are coming forward and filing suit, the legal system is moving closer to offering justice for those who were misled by the birth control manufacturers and possibly their doctors.

Setting aside Time to Volunteer

The sense of companionship that volunteers experience can tie their community together more closely, and naturally it will fulfill the volunteers’ goal of giving charity to their local needy. Yet, finding the room for this kind of event is often a mite difficult, and arranging specific activities can easily take up free time that could be used to do some good. Companies like Adaptive Marketing LLC, a Connecticut-based firm that innovated shopping and financial benefits programs like 24Protect Plus (MVQ*TWENTY4PROPLUS) that bring value to customers, are forming the points of organization for volunteer activities and helping their employees find the time to pitch in. If you were asked for examples of company-backed volunteer work, you’d most likely talk in terms of giving blood, perhaps a Christmas call for donations, nothing more, but this is simply no longer true. Shoe recycling initiatives and more energetic campaigns like tree replanting days - these and others are among the activities that have been arranged for its staff by Adaptive Marketing. By centralizing the organization individual initiatives grew into larger programs, with specific times, dates, and locations published in advance to make time management easy for volunteers. Naturally, it’s important to let volunteers select projects according to their own interests. Companies providing this kind of service to their community like Adaptive Marketing, (who offer to the public programs like 24Protect Plus (MVQ*TWENTY4PROPLUS)) present their employees with a diverse list of drives in the local area. You’ll find there’s so much to be done, after all; getting involved in the entertainment and education of children, assisting with environmental activities, or supporting local arts and culture to name but a few. A happy volunteer is an effective volunteer, and as a result by providing such a variety of projects Adaptive Marketing guarantee that their employees will make progress on all the initiatives.

As a rule, when companies urge their staffers to get involved at homeless shelters, it is often in support of a specific event or a regular, ongoing undertaking. There may be people who assert they haven’t the time, but even they may be able to squeeze in a Saturday morning park clean-up or the public library’s sale of used books.

Using their expertise to the benefit of their community is a long-standing tradition at many firms. The activities of those who work at businesses like Adaptive Marketing create precious goodwill around their home base. Another aspect is, one of the benefits of volunteer work is a sense of accomplishment - a positive feeling that enriches the entire corporate culture.

South West Is the Best

It’s the final week in June so that means only one thing. Wimbledon has hit our screens! It’s the 14 days in the year where people can find their tennis rackets, find their reebok classics and take on the inevitable rain to exercise their serve and volley. Man and Van Wimbledon is dedicated to supplying the most competent and value for money service getable even when SW19 fills with tourists. Man and Vans, London’s premier light removal service, is grounded in South West London and actually enjoys helping its neighbors with any light removals they might have. Man with Van Wimbledon may be too busy to enter the courts this summer but here at Man and Vans headquarters we’re exceedingly overexcited about Wimbledon’s new Centre Court Ceiling. Although Man and Van Wimbledon will work in the pelting rain, Rafael, Roger and Andy have never been too keen to brave heavy rain. luckily this yr there’ll be no need for Cliff Richards’ services as, from the 17th May, Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Association has been using its new retractable roof. Health and Safety tests on the court were borne by the tennis heroes Andre Agassi, Steffi Graf, Tim Henman and Kim Clijsters, who revelled in an exhibition game of mixed doubles as the inevitable rain patted the roof as it closed.

IHC Methods Give Better in Mesothelioma Cancer

Malignant mesothelioma is a uncommon and quick acting growth where no effective therapy has been discovered in spite of the breakthrough of several possible molecular targets. The final stages of Malignant pleural mesothelioma diagnosis and the long period of time that between exposures and diagnosis have made it tricky to comprehensively evaluate the role of risk factors and the insuing molecular effects.

Many medical centers are beginning to see an increasing amount of patients with pleural mesothelioma. This gives pathologists diagnosing the patient many problems, which can be divided into those discovered in finding the differences between malignant mesothelioma and benign changes and those experienced in differentiating malignant mesotheliomas from different forms of epithelial and connecting tissue tumors. IHC is a major factor in helping to make the diagnosis, but it should be interpreted with due regard to the clinical setting and radiological characteristics, and with a knowledge of the extensive morphological differentiations seen in cancer of the mesothelium.

Cancer of the mesothelium is a primary cancer of the serosal cavities, a basic site that is also frequently affected by mets, predominantly from primary carcinomas of the lung, breast, and ovary. Developments in IHC have resulted in enhanced diagnostic sensitivity and specificity in the differential diagnosis in regards to histological and cytological material. As of late, the researchers applied high throughput technology to the identification of new markers that could help in differentiating malignant mesothelioma from cancer in the peritoneum and ovaries, closely related histogenesis found in tumors and antigenic profile. In addition to the improved medical devices accessible for serosal cancer diagnosis, understanding the biology of malignant mesothelioma has accumulate as of late.

Right and Easy Are Rarely The Same Thing - Part 3 of 5, World War II

It is obvious and often mentioned that if the average German could have found away to set aside their dejection from the collapse of the Wiemar Republic and rejected the policies of Adolf Hitler, the lives lost in World War II and in the prison camps may have been spared. We see footage of the camps right next to sleepy little towns and the skeptical narrator without fail questions the veracity of the people that claim that they knew nothing about what was going on in the camps and they had no idea what that smell was.

It is easy in hindsight and as someone who was not there to admonish them for their impotence. I ask you to consider the economics of the time of the collapse of the Wiemar Republic. Germany was in shambles and the average German was suffering economically and emotionally disheartened by the failure of their efforts at liberal democracy. Adolf Hitler filled their stomachs. I am not justifying or condoning the failure of the average German to reject the Nazi party and challenge their actions. I am asking you to consider that what we expect them to have done is something that humanity has not perfected. We expect them to have set aside their own comfort and perhaps their own survival for the greater good.

When people are willing to sacrifice themselves for the greater good, for a stranger, for posterity, we call those people “heroes.” A hero is someone who goes above and beyond expectation in goodness, courage and nobility. For most people, the hero is usually someone else. While it is understandable that the Americans, the British and the Soviets would have preferred Germany to be filled with heroes before the Nazi’s became their problem, do they ask the same thing of themselves?

Did the Soviets stop Lenin and Stalin from the travesties exacted under their reigns before they got outta hand? Did the British people rise up and force their government to stop the colonialization of distant lands and the mass destruction of distant peoples to make those acquisitions? Did the Americans, formerly repressed citizens of Great Britain, rise up during World War II and with one collective voice say internment is wrong release the Asian American citizens? No. None of them did.

A Back Channel to Nowhere

In May, 1978, one of the Major American Television Networks put on a broadcast in celebration of the 30th Anniversary of the Founding of the State of Israel. The show was hosted by Barbra Streisand who, at the time, I guess, was deemed to be a well-known enough entertainer and “Jewish” enough to carry off the show, credibly.

The finale of the show consisted of a live (via satellite) interview between Streisand and Prime Minister Golda Meir, everyone’s favorite chicken-soup with matzo balls Jewish grandmotherly type. (She was, in reality, to those who know her, ANYTHING but that person). After the interview, Streisand sang Hatikvah, and brushed a tear from her eye.

Oy!

There was, of course, only one flaw in the idea behind the show, and its ultimate execution: Golda Meir was not the Prime Minister of Israel; in fact, some months before, she and the Labor Party had been unceremoniously booted out of office, for the first time in Israel’s history, having finally paid the price for Israel’s complete military unpreparedness for the Yom Kippur War back in October, 1973. A disillusioned Israeli public had put the ultimate Opposition-party outsider, Menachem Begin, into power.

Unfortunately for Network executives, who had probably been planning the show for many months, nobody outside Israel, except, perhaps for students of Zionist and Israeli history, knew who Begin was (though the world would certainly come to know him quite well). The radio broadcasters had not yet learned how to pronounce his name, and their mangled attempts verged on hilarity. Begin…as in Begin the Beguine. I don’t know whether Streisand knew anything about Begin, but if she did, it’s probably a safe bet she wouldn’t have liked his politics.

Why is any of this relevant now? Because, in an act of misguided utter desperation, the Bush Administration is pushing the newly elected Israeli Government to begin peace negotiations with an individual who is NOT the democratically-elected Prime Minister of the Palestinians. You see, in a Democracy, you have to take the leaders you are given, and play the cards you are dealt. The Israelis (and President Bush, for that matter), were dealt Hamas. We don’t negotiate with Hamas, since it is a terrorist organization, which calls for suicide bombings and the destruction of the State of Israel. But because it seems somehow unacceptable either to allow Israel to make unilateral decisions affecting Palestinians, or not to move the (Middle East Peace Process) ball forward at all, the clueless foreign policy mavens have decided on a middle course: let’s negotiate with Mahmoud Abbas. After all, goes the rationale, he’s “moderate.” While Abbas may (certainly by contrast to Hamas) be considered a “moderate,” he does suffer from one considerable deficiency: a complete and utter lack of authority to speak for the Palestinians. That prerogative, alas, is given to the sponsors of suicide bombs and Jihad.

The policy is doomed to failure, for a very simple reason. Any agreement reached with Abbas is subject to total deniability and undermining by the real powers in the Palestinian territories: Hamas. Today’s New York Times reported a statement by the State Department Spokesman, Sean McCormack, as follows:

“While not suggesting Israel could work out a peace agreement at this point with Abbas, McCormack, in promoting “back channel” negotiations with Abbas said, ‘He is a political leader within the Palestinian political context.’” [NY Times, May 23, 2006]

What, on earth does that mean? Even by the standards of State Department Foggy Bottom doublespeak, that’s a real doozie!

It all seems like utter nonsense, doesn’t it? But just a minute. There may, in fact, be method in the apparent madness.

According to the same report, Ehud Olmert’s primary purpose in visiting President Bush is to test the waters on the President’s willingness to allow Israel to continue to pursue Ariel Sharon’s previous policy of unilateral disengagement. In other words, will Olmert have Bush’s tacit agreement to allow Israel to create borders and retreat behind them, without the consent of a political entity that will not negotiate? Sharon’s experience was, as we now know, that the Bush Administration was (pretty overtly) on board with that policy. But that was Gaza. Now, we are talking about the West Bank–Judea, Samaria and yes, Jerusalem–an infinitely more complicated and emotional issue for both sides to this endless dispute.

In the meantime, as Olmert is just beginning his tenure, Bush, by virtue of his increasing unpopularity occasioned by the War in Iraq, his indecisiveness on immigration policy and $3-plus per gallon gasoline prices, not to mention the mere passage of time leading to inevitable lame duck impotence, is rendered less and less relevant to the process. Not completely, of course. After all, Bill Clinton participated in negotiations at Sharm-el-Sheikh until virtually hours before George W. Bush’s inauguration. But before we know it, the American Presidential sweepstakes will be beginning in earnest (right after this fall’s midterm elections, we can assume), while Israel will have to make life and death decisions. Does having Bush largely on the sidelines help or hurt Israel’s cause in this respect? It’s hard to say, because American “prestige” or status as an “honest broker” in peacemaking can hardly be of any real value when the U.S. is also boycotting Hamas (as well it should). Can Israel, therefore, conduct some sort of unilateral disengagement “under the radar screen?” Doubtful. Nothing Israel does is EVER allowed to remain under the radar screen.

But European dithering and Arab impotent rage notwithstanding, the only opinion valued by the Israelis comes from inside the Beltway. And the real reason Olmert needs Bush’s support is to give him cover in the treacherous waters of Israeli politics, where the U.S. President’s imprimatur still matters. Let’s see whether he gets it. And if the price for it is that Olmert has to negotiate with a powerless Palestinian figurehead, so that bilateral discussion can fail and Israel and the U.S. can fall back on the tried and true “Well, we tried, but there was nobody to talk to,” I, for one, am satisfied to have Olmert meet with Abbas, sing a chorus of Hatikvah and brush away a tear.

Free Speech in Europe: R.I.P.

British historian, David Irving, was convicted in an Austrian court recently for the “crime” of denying the Holocaust. Irving pled guilty to the charge since he faced upward of ten years in jail. He will serve three years.
Some people will say this is a good thing since the Holocaust was such a terrible thing. While there is no denying the Holocaust was a terrible thing, locking someone up for an opinion is a bad thing as well. It is also something that will come back to haunt Europe. Fascism equals fascism, and these “anti-hate-speech” laws are fascist.
One can label Mr. Irving a “jerk” or “insensitive.” But should the guy be locked up for three years for an opinion? He was not even calling for violence of any kind against any group. No, just the fact he had issues with the authenticity of the Holocaust placed him in jail. Scary stuff.
Austria is certainly not the only place in Europe with these draconian laws. They are all over Europe. In Britain, British National Party Chairman, Nick Griffin, was recently put on trial for the crime of “incitement to commit racial hatred.” In other words, he said politically incorrect things. He spoke of a need to cut back on immigration and fears that Britain would become a non-white nation. Well, half of America would be in jail if such things were a crime here. Luckily, he was found not guilty on some charges and the jury deadlocked on others. He still has to face a re-trial on the other charges. Again, no violent calls for assaults, murders, etc. Just a “right-wing” guy with views.
In Germany, a guy was recently sentenced to a year in jail for printing the word “Koran” on toilet paper and then distributing it, some to mosques. What’s next? Two years in jail for cartoons?
Which of course brings us to the “infamous” cartoons. The cartoons depicting the Prophet Mohammad by a Danish newspaper has actually led to riots and death. Do you have any doubt arrests will occur for “anti-Mohammad” comments or publications?
Europe had better come out of its politically correct period. They are making up for the Hitler era with Hitler policies. This cannot go on forever. Repression is always fought against, even if little by little. To lock up people for opinions and views not to the current liking of the government is fascism. There is no other way around it. To quote Mr. Irving, who will do three years for his opionion, “The law is an ass.” No doubt. And one that simply will not be tolerated.

The Sarbanes-Oxley Act

The Sarbanes-Oxley Act Was created on July 30th 2002, by Senator Paul Sarbanes and Representative Michael Oxley, who drafted the bill. It followed a series of high profile scandals. Its objective is to protect investors by improving the accuracy and reliability of corporate disclosures made pursuant to the securities laws.

The Sarbanes-Oxley Act is mandatory every organization small and large must comply.

Sarbanes-Oxley is a direct result of Enron, WorldCom and various other accounting scandals of the 1990’s.

In essence, Sarbanes-Oxley gives corporate boards far less flexibility than they once had while simultaneously leaving executives with far fewer reasons to want to be a board member. If you are a successful executive late in your career, the benefits of lending your considerable expertise as a board member no longer outweigh the risks to your net worth.

Without a doubt, the intent of Sarbanes-Oxley is admirable, and sorely needed. However, the practical functioning of this legislation leaves much to be desired.

In far too many companies, the board of directors consists of “yes” men and woman who parrot the will of the Chairman and CEO. Most board members have been in their positions for considerable periods of time, and forums do not exist that encourage both an active participation in the business matters of the firm and the investigation and questioning of critical risk management processes.

The Sarbanes-Oxley Act is split in to a number of sections each highlighting the different rules and regulations each organization must implement.

President Hillary Rodham Clinton?

Is America ready for Hillary Clinton as President of the United
States?

I, for one, am NOT, as I am sure many others are in agreement.
But then we have the shallow-minded intransigents, of whom fail
to deem beyond what they consider, their own indubitable
intellect. They are too busy looking within themselves to see
what is before them. Therefore, eagerly leaping onto the
Political jackass, they blindly err as a Steed…Or should we
say “Mare”.

I have nothing personally against Mrs. Clinton, other than I
have little respect for her. Although against Democratic
conviction, I am still unconvinced that she did not seek the
Senate seat in New York for use as a catapult into the
presidency. She was never satisfied behind the scenes telling
her husband how to run the nation, she wants to be the one
behind locked doors of the Oval office with her cigars.

I accept the rise in Mrs. Clinton’s approval rating in the
polls, even more so after the presidential election of which she
had refrained from running, that is as it should be. She had to
prove to New York and the nation of her pledge to serve a full
term and not a seek higher office. She kept a low profile during
the presidential election, although many democrat’s believe she
would have won her party’s nomination easily. No matter how
comfortable she is becoming with many of the Republican or the
Democratic party, if she had ran at that time, it is my belief
that would inevitably have been her down fall. It would have
destroyed the trust she had worked for and given proof to the
suspicions within our nation.

Undoubtedly, we all know why she wanted the seat in the New York
Senate, argue all you want, it is still visibly fact. No matter
how many of the male liberal, democrat and republican party’s
shout out her good deeds and honor, I don’t believe we are ready
for Hillary Clinton as President.
