Are you addicted to scrapbooking?

Many who suddenly get the scrapbooking bug say they started when they realized that so few pictures were taken of them as cute little tykes - and they want to make things better for their own children. What ever the reason, scrapbooking has become a big business. There are estimates that over 4 million people, almost all of them women, gather for “crop-alongs” or “power layouts” every month! All these people are on the lookout for new and exciting scrapbooking ideas and share their thoughts and techniques on how to create that perfect keepsake.

So many people are seeing that life is short, and they want to preserve family memories for their children. With today’s ever mobile society and families spread across the country (and the world), it has become apparent that one way to keep everyone current with what’s going on in your life is to utilize scrapbooks to chronicle everyday life.

In simple terms, scrapbooking is the practice of combining photographs, memorabilia, and written narratives, poetry, quotations, stories, or other textual content into a scrapbook style album. A few scrapbooks are mass produced, but most are unique, singular publications. They can contain an accumulation of all sorts of objects such as newspaper clippings, magazine articles, play bills, ticket stubs, pressed flowers, and locks of hair.

Scrapbooks are often embellished with ribbon or other pieces of fabric, colorful graphics, and other artwork. These artifacts of history are attached to the album pages. Many different types of scrapbooks have been made including family histories, personal journals and memories, and historical records of organizations, military units, and other groups.

Personal scrapbooks provide a unique view into the thoughts, lives, and activities of their creator(s). Some of the best and most valuable scrapbooks are simple, focused documents that are directed to one single topic or subject. As stated above, scrapbooking is the fastest growing craft industry in the United States. The advent of computers has expanded the techniques available for producing, duplicating, and distributing scrapbooks. For example, some personal websites are virtual scrapbooks.

If you’re addicted to scrapbooking and want to have fun creating lasting memories - whether you’re a beginner or an experienced scrapbooker - scrapbooking supplies are readily available from many online sites from the basic essentials to the latest product trends. Get your choice of albums, scrapbook paper packs, embellishments, stamps, adhesives, trimmers and helpful products to keep everything organized. You can count on all the reputable online merchants for high-quality scrapbook supplies and affordable prices.

To create a scrapbook, you need the right material. From ribbons and bows to photo material and albums—all the necessary scrapbooking supplies you need are available online. There are books to help you get started and loads of advice to help guide you along the way to create your own masterpiece.
There are even websites to answer your questions and the many online catalogers and merchants have everything you need to complete your project. Just point and click and you’ll be on your way to making a treasured family keepsake.

What Is Diamond Clarity?

The clarity of a diamond is perhaps one of its most valuable
selling points in the eye of the consumer. A diamond, that has
flash and fire, will stand out even above others that are far
larger.

That’s because diamonds are basically prisms, which capture
light and reflect it back and forth, before it leaves the stone.
If you had two similar stones and were wondering which of them
was the diamond, you could put a tiny light behind each one and
see how the light passed through it. If you basically got the
beam of light coming out the other side, the stone is not
genuine. A diamond refracts the light so many times, that it
would only emerge from the other side as a soft glow.

Clarity is considered to be how “clean” the diamond is. Diamonds
can have minor inclusions, which are miniscule amounts of gas,
liquid, and even minerals, all of which cause an interruption in
the flow of light through a stone. Inclusions can be so small,
they go unseen by the naked eye. Others may not be visible,
especially in small stones, but if they are of the right type,
or there are several of them, their presence will disrupt the
passage of light to the point where the stone is dull, or looks
cloudy.

Some of the finest diamonds in the world have an inclusion of
one kind or another, but it does not detract from the overall
quality, when considered together with the cut, color and
carats.

Cut the Costs of Your New Baby… Devour Those Yard Sales!

Baby products are a huge market. However, these products are
soon disposed of after being used. Why not save some money and
get your baby products at huge discounts among your local yard
sales.

Get some friends together and check out your local yard sales.
Before you go, make sure you check the yard sale listings in the
newspaper to make sure you don’t make any unnecessary trips.
When buying baby furniture, make sure it meets current safety
standards. Yard sales often have many used cribs, rocking
chairs, and other baby needs that will save you over 50%!

Research before making any purchases

Invest in a What to Expect When You’re Expecting book when you
are pregnant. This series of books is quite helpful when it
comes to keeping your babies needs to a minimum.

Search the internet

Search for baby sites and sign up for specials. You’ll find that
you can receive many free samples of baby formula and other
supplies.

The advantages of cloth diapers: Cost is the number one benefit
to cloth diapers. You can use the same diapers for your later
children, or you can sell the used diapers to recoup most, if
not all, of your costs.

However, price is not the only benefit. Cloth diapers are also
much healthier for babies’ skin. Say goodbye to diaper rash.
They also benefit the environment. Each one is tossed back into
a load of wash instead of an overflowing landfill.

A Florence Hills Tour

Italy, a veritable treasure chest of culture and heritage - with its food, wine, culture and history, is always on the top of a European tour list. A tour to Italy would not be complete without going to Florence. This city is in the heart of Tuscany and is sometimes considered the birthplace of the Italian Renaissance. It is a place that is famous for its abundance of fine art and architecture and in the modern day, its fashion and leather goods.

If you are feeling a little tired out after a few days of sightseeing in Florence, a Florence hills tour can be a great way to relax and wind down. With a great ambience and an aura of solitude the hills of Florence are very popular and ideal for those who wish to take a break from the city.

If you only have a few hours to spare and don’t want to venture too far from Florence, then a trip to the town of Fiesole is highly recommended. Set amongst the hills, just 5 miles from Florence, Fiesole makes a pleasant half-day trip from Florence and provides a wonderful view of the city. You can get there by bus from the centre of Florence in around 20 minutes.

If you’re feeling more energetic or have a little more time to spare you can walk from the centre of Florence to Fiesole in around 2 hours. Once in Fiesole you can easily spend two or three hours wandering round, taking in the sights and the views of Florence and the valley below. Sights include a Roman Amphitheatre and baths dating from 1 BC, the Duomo and a few small museums.

If you have a full day to spare there are numerous tour companies that can organise day trips by bus, walking tours or biking trips. Alternatively you can hire a car and use a map to discover the delights of the Tuscan countryside for yourself.

A guided walking tour of the Florence hills will provide you with an insider’s view of Florence & Tuscany - you can discover the hidden treasures and learn of great legends and stories, giving you a more intimate experience of the region of Tuscany. A walk through the Florence hills is invigorating and you can soak up the beauty of the surroundings as you breathe in the fresh air and bask in the warm sun. You’ll also find plenty of photo opportunities as you pass by churches, castles, hill top towns and villages, olive trees and vineyards

If you’re reasonably fit and have cycling experience you may want to take a Florence Hills Tour by bike. There are many tour companies that offer guided biking expeditions of the area. With these tours you will cover more ground than the walking tours and you will see many of the different terrains and landscapes that the Florence hills have to offer. Be sure to find out as much information as possible about the cycling route before you go, as many tours of the Florence hills by bike can be arduous because of the steep climbs that you have to make.

If you want to make the most of the peace and quiet and spend a few more days enjoying the countryside you may want to book a stay in one of the many bed and breakfasts, hotels or villas in the Tuscan hills. Hiring a car will allow you to venture just that little bit further afield and visit some of the beautiful Tuscan hill towns such as San Gimignano, Colle Val D’Elsa and Monteriggioni.

Regardless of how much time you have to spend there, a trip to the hills surrounding Florence will give you a taste of the Tuscan countryside that will help to make your trip just that little bit more special.

Grow Trees For Fun and Profit

Anyone can be a farmer. Growing plants can be done almost
anywhere. You don’t have to have large fields and hundreds of
acres. You have to have imagination. People who grow dope do it
in cellars and in caves. Select plants to raise that that you
see being sold in quanity by local nurseries or garden centers.
In our area Arborvitae are in hot demand. These plants can be
started from cuttings or you can buy rooted cuttings. Thousands
can be grown in a 20′x20′ area in small containers. Arborvitae
are not the only plants that you can choose. Dwarf conifers and
bonsai are other avenues to consider. The first thing to
consider is what plants you like. They make a nice starting
point. I like arborvitae. Plus they are easy to grow. There are
many types that are available. These can be grown from cuttings
or you can purchase rooted cutting or small liners. I suggest
that you raise Emerald Greens. They are compact and very
popular. A 2-3″ rooted cutting in 3 years should be 2′ if
growing conditions are optimal. These might sell for as much as
$5-10 depending on your market and quality. If you were to raise
1000 of them that might be $5-10,000. You can market them just
as I do on the internet. Being small you can ship them via UPS
practically anywhere.

An example of a plant that is not suitable for small plot urban
farming is an Oak tree. It is very fast in growing (good), but
has a big tap root, and is best marketed when over 6-8′ tall.
You will use up your space with a hard to confine, large tree
that is not suitable for close compact container production.
Shipping will also be more costly as starter plants tend to be
larger hence larger shipping fees per tree. Besides I have sold
many people 50 -100 arbs at a time but no one, 100 oaks at a
time. My largest order for arbs to one homeowner was 265. Try to
target plants that will sell multiples to a customer rather than
just one at a time. If you target single plants to individual
customers you need high value plants for your sales cost per
unit will be higher. You will hear the same story from your
customers about 1 plant as you will about 10 plants. I can tell
you without a doubt that each customer will tell you about his
property and his neighbors dog. I would rather hear the story
once for each 10 plants that I sell. That is why I like plants
that sell in multiples to a single customer. Additionally an
unusual or exotic plant is seldom purched in quanity and the
buyer has little knowledge of the plant. They will have many
more questions about this plant. This translates to a higher
amount of time spent on a smaller volume of product sold.

Arborvitae are commonly used evergreen shrubs or trees useful
in urban areas where low maintenance and durability is needed.
Many cultivars with forms such as being globed in shape,
columnar, or narrow pyramidal, tend to be near buildings, doors,
and walkways. Other forms which are larger are used for screens
and buffers that are planted in rows. These plants will be easy
to raise on your small urban lot.

The form of arborvitae is small, medium, or large depending on
the cultivar. Some reach 50′, others only 3′. Most prefer full
sun to partial sun. Planting in dense shade conditions should be
avoided. A moist , well drained, loamy soil in full sunlight are
ideal conditions for growing healthy arborvitae. These plants
will tolerate rocky, clay, urban conditions of heat drought and
pollution. The most important pest we have is bagworms which
must be controlled to prevent complete defoliation. Some
cultivars have multiple leaders which also prove to be a
detraction for the plant. Pruning out multiple leaders in some
cultivars is a simple remeady.

As you raise these plants if you find that you are selling more
than you can raise on your property, an add in the newspaper
such as, “Wanted: land to grow trees on” will help you find
vacant parcels to use in growing more stock. This land may be
free to use as many owners want in urban areas land to be used
as it is then maintained. We have had many offers of free land
to use in raising nursery stock. (You should check with your
local BTK Code Enforcement Officer to make sure that this use is
acceptable.)

Another suggestion is that you work for another local urban
grower. They may have facilities set up that they would allow
you to use after hours. When they see that you are a willing go
getter, they might even ask you to grow special plants that they
don’t want to grow because the volumes are light or they are to
intensive in labor. At any rate it is the best way to learn the
trede and its secrets. Most nurserymen will tell all their trade
secrets because its the best way to help the industry and build
a network of reliable and knowledgeable associates.

Spring Gardening Ideas for the Family

Spring is the perfect time to plant a garden with your child.
It’s educational, good exercise, a great bonding activity, and
great for self-esteem.

PROPER TOOLS

Little hands need the right sized tools or they’ll be
frustrated, and “toys” are not sturdy enough. Child’s garden
gloves are available here:
www.mybackyard.com/acatalog/.mybackyard_Shop_Child_s_Garden_Glove
s_110.html. Gardens4Kids ( http://gardens4kids.com ) offers a
package: a set of 3 children’s hand gardening tools, 1 set of
children’s gardening gloves, and a child’s watering can.

They also offer a gardening kit with tips for planting with
children. It contains: seed packages with instructions written
for new gardeners and/or children; materials and materials
needed checklist; a planting map; a harvest guide activity
worksheet and calendar for predicting harvest dates; plant
labels; a waterproof pencil; and 20 grid markers.

THEMATIC

Try planting a small plot around a theme - A Pizza Garden with
tomatoes and herbs. A Salsa Garden with hot peppers, onions and
tomatoes. A Butterfly garden with bright flowers and butterfly
‘food’ (see below).

MAKE A GRASS SNAKE OR SCARECROW

To make a grass snake, fill a sock with dirt and grass seed,
place it in the sun and keep it damp. In 7-14 days, the ’snake’
will have ‘hair’!

To make a scarecrow, take a large piece of cardboard and let the
child lie down and get in a funny pose. Trace around the child
and then cut the scarecrow out. Decorate him or her with yarn,
waterproof markers, googily eyes, old pieces of clothing -
whatever you have on hand. You can mount it on a stake.

TEE PEE

A bean tee pee brings great results and is easy to so. Use
stakes, poles or bamboo poles 12′ long. Arrange them teepee
style in a 5′ circle, leaving room for a small entrance and
pushing the ends into the ground. Tie the tops together with
heavy twine or masking tape. Plant different kinds of string
bean seeds (something that’ll grow in your region) at the base
of the teepee, and in a couple of months, the teepee will be
covered with beans, leaves and vines.

BUTTERFLY FEEDER

This is exactly what you’ll see in botanical gardens. Take a
plastic pot saucer, sand and about 1 T. of cow or horse manure
and an overripe piece of banana, apple or pear. Place sand and
manure in saucer with small amount of water and add fruit.
Voila! Butterflies will come!

SIMPLE BIRD BATH OR BIRD FEEDER

Here’s an idea for a simple and inexpensive bird bath or feeder.
Use a tomato cage, anchoring it firmly in the ground. Put one
plastic plan saucer inside the top ring of the cage. Plant
vining plants such as nasturtiums or morning glory around the
bottom. Fill the saucer with water for the birds, of poke a few
holes in it for drainage and fill it with birdseed.

EDUCATIONAL

·Use a digital or throwaway camera to record progress in the
garden and learn more about nature and photography. Put the
photos in a scrapbook for memories!

·Place a rain gauge in the garden.

·Study the insects that come and what they do.

· Read about vegetables, fruits and flowers on the Internet.

·Be sure and don’t take “the sun” for granted. Water and sun and
good soil are what gardening is all about.

·The garden will need to be tended and this teaches
responsibility. It needs to be watered, fertilized and weeded.
Establish a regular schedule for tending the garden.

CELEBRATE THE HARVEST with flowers on the table, or a pizza, or
hot sauce, or whatever the garden harvest has brought. Be sure
and take more photos for the scrapbook.

WRITING YOUR LIFE STORY - Some Common Obstacles and How to Overcome Them

“When the storyteller tells the truth, she reminds us that human
beings are more alike than unalike… A story is what it’s like
to be a human being - to be knocked down and to miraculously
arise. Each one of us has arisen, awakened.”

- Maya Angelou

Many people who consult with me regarding their family histories
are also adamant that they want to do the work themselves. I
encourage that. Who knows your personal stories better than you
do? Producing life story legacies through books or videos is a
priceless gift that brings families together and enhances lives
for generations to come. Let 2005 be the year that you start to
weave the tapestry of your family’s life in words and
photographs!

Don’t get bogged down with difficulties that prevent you from
moving forward with your stories. Here are three of the most
common life story writing challenges and some easy solutions for
them:

“I can’t seem to keep writing.”

Consult a personal historian for a list of story-starters or a
coaching session, so that you can get excited about your project
all over again. Find a writing group to join or start one of
your own that is devoted to life story writing and willing to
meet at least every two weeks. Read some good books on the
subject - “Writing The Memoir” by Judith Barrington is
particularly helpful and includes a section on forming a group.
Join an ongoing e-course to keep you motivated - Recollections
offers one or you can research others on the Internet.

“I can’t locate all the facts - birth dates, immigrant ship
landings, military regiments, etc.”

If you need help with research, Information Desk Librarians at
the local libraries are a great help! A personal historian can
also point you in the right direction. Often, all it takes is a
visit to the right website or the location of the right
genealogy book or magazine.

“I’ve got everything written down, but I’m not sure it makes
sense.”

This is where a good writer/editor, one who specializes in
memoir and personal history, can come in. An editor can tidy up
your work in a practical manner, assist with sentence structure
and flow and otherwise make your words sing! The difference
between a jumble of dry facts and a personal history is as near
as your telephone. If you want to do your own editing but aren’t
sure how to go about it, an editorial consultation will help
point you in the right direction.

Are you feeling stuck in some way that hasn’t been covered here?
Please don’t be discouraged! There are many resources available
to help you capture your family memories and those of your
relatives - in print, on audio or video. I sincerely hope this
is your year to begin such an important project!

Arizona Casinos

Arizona casinos are located in the “valley of the sun,” in the
Southwestern part of the United States. Arizona is known for its
climate and magnificent scenery; from the desert to the
mountains, the landscape is as varied as it is beautiful. The
population of Arizona is over 5,000,000, and the capital and
largest city is Phoenix, with a population of over 1,400,000.

Arizona casinos were legalized on Indian or Native American
reservations in the 1990’s, and tribes are given “slot
allotments” for the number of slot machines allowed in each
casino. There are 15 cities, with Arizona casinos, run by
various Indian tribes. The minimum age for gambling at Arizona
casinos is 21, and the majority of these casinos are open for 24
hours. Harrah’s Phoenix Ak-Chin Casino Resort, in Maricopa, is
open 24 hours and has 40,000 square feet of gambling space, with
950 slots, and eight table games. Casino Arizona, in Scottsdale,
is open 24 hours, with 30,000 square feet, 500 slots, and 36
table games; and the Paradise Casino, in Yuma, has 30,000 square
feet, 750 slots, and 15 table games.

The largest of the Arizona casinos, Casino Del Sol, is located
in Tucson and is open 24 hours. This 240,000 square foot casino
has 1,000 slots, 20 table games, and six restaurants. Another
one of the larger Arizona casinos is the Desert Diamond Casino
in Sahurita, with 185,000 square feet of gambling area, 498
slots, 15 table games, and four restaurants. The Desert Diamond
Casino is open Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00
p.m., and 24 hours on Saturday and Sunday. There are several
other large Arizona casinos, including the Cliff Castle Casino
in Camp Verde, with 140,000 square feet, 575 slots, and ten
table games; and the Gila River Casino - Vee Quiva in Laveen,
with 89,000 square feet, 675 slots, and ten table games.

In addition, the Blue Water Resort and Casino on the Colorado
River in Parker, Arizona, offers blackjack and poker, as well as
slots, bingo, and keno. One of the most popular Arizona casinos
is the Fort McDowell Casino in Fountain Hills, with daily
no-limit poker tournaments, 24-hour tableside food service, and
the highest poker jackpots in Arizona. Some of the smaller
Arizona casinos include the Yavapi in Prescott, with 6,000
square feet, 250 slots, and eight table games; and the Spirit
Mountain Casino in Mojave, with 9,500 square feet and 260 slots.

Arizona casinos offer great entertainment and non-stop gambling
in true Las Vegas style.

Extreme Body Modification: Implants

Implants:

the reason that I choose to start talking about implants is very simple, in my point of view they are the beginners in EBM, or using a better choice of words, they are the least invasive of the 3 base techniques.
I found so many types of implants and all of them are very interesting, So I decided to write about:

Eye ball jewellery

Magnetic Implants

3d implants

Eye ball jewellery is probably one of the newest techniques of the all EBM. It was developed by ophthalmologic experts, it is an ocular Surgery that adds a decorative platinum implant inserted under a thin membrane in the eye, which holds the implant in place. Since the membrane is clear, the implant can be seen clearly against the white of the eye. There are not many shapes of ornaments offered yet, and it is a very new procedure that for now can only be done officially in Holland, the cost is around U$ 1200.So far the doctors could not find a side effect to it, what does not mean that there aren’t any. In the U.S. some States committees already approved a bill to ban it; the procedure goes more or less like the following:

• The eye is anesthetized with routine eye-drop anaesthesia medication.

• The eye is decontaminated and draped with routine techniques used in ocular surgery.

• An intra conjunctival bleb is created by injection of BSS in the most superficial conjunctive layer. The bleb may be positioned adjacent to the temporal limbus.

• With conjunctive scissors, the bleb is opened and a superficial intra conjunctival tunnel is made.

• The tunnel is checked to determine if it is wide enough to accommodate the implant.

• The device is inserted into the tunnel up to the desired final position of the implant.

• With a sponge, all excess BSS is removed from the implantation area.

• At the end of the procedure, antibiotic drops are applied onto the eye.

• Postoperative management includes antibiotic eye drops for 1-2 week(s).

• The procedure takes about 15 minutes.

So far Doctors could not find any side effect or complications caused by the implant, and hopefully they won’t find any. So keep in mind, there are very few people authorized to do this procedure, and so far it can only be realised in Holland, and even so only 2 clinics are fully authorized to do so.

Magnetic Implants:

What are they? They are small magnet implanted under your skin with the purpose to enhance your senses as if it was the acquisition of the so famous sixth sense, how it happens, by moving in response to an electromagnetic field and transferring this as sensation to the surrounding nerves.

We can divide the magnetic implants into 4 types:

Sensory: The one that supposed to give you the sixth sense

Sexual: Where the magnets are placed inside the most sensitive area or the genitalia of a couple, male and female have to get the implant, it supposed to enhance the feeling of the body parts while in movement against each other, they can also be placed in the lips.

Symbolic: is implanted but a couple to create a magnetic bond as the two people hold hands, as there are not real proves that a couple can really exchange energy thru this technique, we can take it as more discrete kind of wedding rings.

Functional: Probably not a very comfortable matter, but if you get larger magnets you would be able to pick up things such as screws and some other items, with the magnets commonly used you can’t pick up more than a paper clips, the up side of having such small magnets is that they wont affect your credit cards, hard drives, monitors, and so on.

To get the implant is also quite simple:

Small incision in the tip of the finger and opening a pocket

Create a tinny pocket to add the magnetic pellet (the magnets are about a third the size of a grain of rice)

Do the suture and bandage the finger tips (the procedure takes about half an hour to do 5 fingers)

The first few days the sensation is not very pleasant but after a week and the stitches taken off the pain goes away and in the period between 1 to 4 weeks you can start to enjoy the magnetic field moving feeling, and the benefit of this EBM is that the scars are almost invisible and if what I read is true, the feeling is quite interesting.

Because this procedure is bran new the side effects are not known yet, but the biocompatibility of neodymium, but it is considered a generally toxic irritant and moderately poisonous with documented adverse effects. In order to keep the magnet from coming in contact with the skin, it has to be coated with a sheath of biocompatible silicone, there is always the risk of “peeled” the silicone off of the magnet, if it happens the compromised magnet should be replaced by removed and replaced by a new one.

This procedure is so very new that not even all the BM specialists are doing it; some are waiting for it to get a bit safer and better developed. Because so far risks are unknown, but once that the coating of the magnet problem is solved it will probably turn into a huge trend among people. But if you are one of those that want to get all of it first, please wait until it is proved safe.

3d implants: It is the act of placing an object under the skin to create a design on the skin’s surface, it is actually a very simple technique, an incision is made, and the implant that can be made out of many materials (titanium, soft or solid silicon, Teflon and steel, the steel variety sometimes can cause an infection, there is also the option of natural bone tissue) is inserted, you are stitched up and ready to go. Simple….the after care apparently is simpler than the after care of a piercing. To get a 3D implant you can choose many areas of the body, forehead (the intern horns, third eye and the external horns), you can place spikes on your head, beads on your arms, legs, chest and many but many more, if you are a guy you can get your penis beaded (pearling), in many different ways.

Some of the risks of the implants are:

-Tissue Resorption: erosion of the tissue by rubbing or pressure applied against the body. Implant can bury itself into the muscles wearing down the body’s natural defences; this risk can happen especially with hard materials such as Teflon and stain less steel so if you want to get it done try to use softer materials such as silicone and choose safer places to add the implants.

-Implant Rejection: Is when the implants put enough pressure on the skin above them, that it actually manage to do enough damage to surrounding tissue that the skin above the implant dies and the implant becomes exposed ,once this process begins there’s not lot that can be done about it other than removing the implant.

-Pressure on Nerve and Muscle: When an implant is placed on top of muscle, nerves, or blood vessels, it has the potential to interfere with their functioning. To minimize the risk you have to be sure to tell the 3D artist if you are experiencing anything that can be related to it, this way the artist can change the positioning or the placement of the implant without harm you, in some cases the procedure has to be postponed or aborted. You should also strongly consider research about the kind of implant that you will get and the location of it so you can do it safely.
There are also many other possible risks that can be associated with implants such as:

Keloids, Implant surface contamination, Implant Biocompatibility, Implant Finishing, Lidocaine Toxicity, Anaesthetic allergy, Sub dermal Shifting, Mod before Client, Needle allergy, Adrenalin Excitement, Impact damage, Hypertrophy scarring, Abscess, Boils, Cancer, Blood loss, Shock, Bloodborne Pathogens

Ok that is all for now guys, next week I will be writing about Surgical modification……And I can promise to you all that it will be a very, but a very interesting article….Until them, go have fun and enjoy life…
Yes, I’m really trying to fix my karma thing……we never know what can happen tomorrow…..

Put Your Recruiting on Auto Pilot

Getting people to join your company can be hard work. Whether you are looking to hire staff or to build a downline for your network marketing business, attracting the right people is key to your success.

Obviously you want productive go-getters who are going to make a contribution to the bottom line, not just warm bodies to clog your cycles and waste your time. But how do you find the right people?

Take a cue from the marketing folks. Become a magnet for interested, qualified “prospects” who eagerly want to become a part of your team. Use an established technique that draws new customers as a model for attracting downline participants and employees to your company.

What is this technique? It’s called “article marketing” and it is one of the most effective methods of catching the attention of large groups of people. It works like this: You write a simple article that is interesting to the kind of people you want to attract. They could be salespeople, independent business owners, MLM participants – whoever you think would make the perfect addition to your team.

You don’t have to write “The Great American Novel”. All you need is about 500 words on the topic of your choice. Then submit that article all over the web to ezine publishers, newsletter editors and content laden websites. When they publish your article (and they almost always do) your perfect candidates read your words, and see you as an expert in the subject (after all, you’re a published author!) and they click on a link to your website that you conveniently provided at the end of the article. Viola! You have tons of interested, qualified people you can add to your downline.

Keep in mind, that your article remains out there for people to find for weeks, months, even years. As new people happen across your article, they click the link and visit your site. You have a perpetual recruiting machine, drawing tons of pre-qualified, interested potential recruits to your site. This is better than advertising, and far less expensive.

The process works. The problem is that you have to go through the effort of submitting your articles to enough sites that you really make a splash. Most business owners submit their articles to 9 or 10 places before getting burned out on the tedious submission process. I can’t think of anything more dull than the sheer drudgery of article submission.

Fortunately, you can avoid that drudgery, get your articles to more editors, get them there faster - which gets you recruits sooner - by taking advantage of one of the following three methods:

1) Hire a Virtual Assistant to do the work for you. Cost $400.00
2) Buy and install article submission software. Cost: $69.00
3) Use a free web service. Cost: $0

Here are the good and bad points of each one.

Hire a Virtual Assistant to do the work for you: Cost $400.00 (http://www.articlesthatsell.com/ArticleSubmissionFAQ.pdf) I think Virtual Assistants are terrific. Typing, proofreading, sending invoices - they do clerical work for an hourly fee. This particular Virtual Assistant specializes in being your “publication coordinator”. She does everything by hand, submitting your articles one by one to various places around the net. She’ll also do light proofreading of your article.

The downside: While I think $400.00 is a fair price for the amount of time she is going to invest, I fear that the price is a bit steep for most small business owners trying to build a downline.

Ezine Announcer Software: Cost $69.00 (www.f1000.com/ezineannouncer) This is a pretty cool program. It automates many of the tasks that are time consuming and boring. It comes with a long list of 1700 publishers who want your articles. You enter your article and then run through the sites you want to contact. Yes, you still have to do the work, but it takes away some of the pain. You buy it, install it, and then you can run it whenever you have an article to publish. The software solution is great if you’re technically proficient.

The downside: Once you install the program, the list of submission sites has already begun going out of date. New sites spring up all the time and existing sites become defunct. While many of the submission tasks are automated, you are still tied to your desk working through the submission process. I like the software solution, I just wish there were a few more features.

Article Marketer: Cost - Free (www.articlemarketer.com)
ArticleMarketer.com is a free web service. You enter your article and press the button - then the system goes to work. Your articles are submitted to 2,351 people, as well as content web sites and popular article directories. Articles are distributed according to publisher guidelines and based on the categories you choose. The list of sites is always up to date, with new publishers being added all the time and the defunct ones deleted.

The downside: The free service is only sent to a fraction of their list. They have a paid program ($8.95) that distributes your articles to the complete list of over 50,000 people. With a subscription ($39.95), you can send an unlimited number of articles to the full list.

To summarize: If you want to really build your downline quickly, submitting royalty free articles to ezines and newsletter editors is the way to go. If you don’t want to spend the hours and hours of drudge work doing article submission, you should give one of these solutions a try.

Of the three, ArticleMarketer.com is my favorite (for obvious reasons). It allows me to maximize my budget and get my articles to the greatest number of people with the least amount of effort. I put this article in (it took literally 45 seconds) and here you are reading it. Now that’s what I call effective marketing!
