An exercise to get your site in shape!

Submitting your web site to search engines is the
single-most important step, to bringing in a
flood of targeted traffic.

These people are actively seeking you out when
they type your keywords into that little search
box. Question is “Are the keywords they’re using,
the same keywords you’re using?” and if so, “How
relevant are these keywords to what you’re
selling?”

You see, when you submit your web site to a
search engine, some will ask you for a list of
keywords *relevant* to your web site.

Other search engines will only send a spider to
your site to look at your content. What they do,
is take a kind of inventory of the words you use
on your main page. Whichever words you use most
often on this page, the spider will assume that’s
what your site is about and will base your
listing on these words.

Then there are those search engines that will
base your listing on the keyword and description
tags within the heading tag of your page.

We are going to focus on getting the right
keywords in the right places (optimizing) for the
free-to-get-listed search engines; then we will
move on to the pay-per-click and the pay-per-
inclusion engines.

Before you begin compiling your list of keywords,
you need to do a little bit of research.

Start by putting yourself in your customer’s
shoes. Pretend that you know nothing about your
product or service; this can be very difficult to
do. The best way to find out what keywords your
customers may use, is to ask them. Using your
spouse or your friends as guinea pigs, is the
easiest way to do this.

Without telling them what your site is about,
give them a very vague idea; as most of your
customers really don’t have any idea that they
need your product. For example, you might say,
“Honey, if you wanted to make some extra money
for Christmas gifts this year, what words would
you type in this little box?”

If your spouse has the time and is willing to
help you out, ask him/her to go to at least 3
different search engines and conduct at least 3-5
searches, using different keywords and phrases
each time. Also, be sure that she/he clicks on a
few of the results, but only the ones she/he
feels is relevant her/his search.

Note: Most internet marketers are alone in their
work. Meaning, many times the spouse of the
marketer usually doesn’t know how internet
marketing works. (My husband can’t even turn on a
computer!) Allow your spouse to use any keyword
or phrases she/he needs to find what she/he is
looking for. There are no wrong answers here and
you’ll learn a lot more if she/he isn’t given a
lesson in search engines beforehand.

Make sure you write down *every* keyword and/or
phrase your spouse uses. Also pay close attention
to the web sites she/he clicks on from the search
results. This will give you an outside look at
how the majority of your customers are going to
find you.

After your spouse clicks on one of the search
results that she/he is interested in, ask them
“Why?” What was it about that particular site
that interested her/him? Take notes; this is good
stuff!

Note: Of course not everyone is selling
information on how to make money online. Some of
you may be selling crafts that you made yourself,
vitamins or weight loss products, long distance
service, etc. No matter what your site wants from
its visitors, you can still do this exercise.
Just be sure that your spouse only has a vague
idea of what she/he is searching for.

The next step in this exercise is to have your
spouse conduct their searches again, only this
time they should have a really good idea of
exactly what it is they are looking for. Tell
them to be specific in their searches.

Again, write down the keywords and/or phrases
they use, what sites they visit from the results
and why.

Be sure to also write down the URL of the web
sites they visit. (This is your competition!)
Next week, we are going to do a little undercover
work. You will become the ultimate internet spy!

Note: The reason I say to use your spouse or
friends for this exercise, is that we, as
marketers, tend to get so close to what we’re
doing, that it’s hard to get back, outside the
box, as newbies. We know what it is our product
does, and how it does it, but our customers
don’t! We need to get inside their heads and
discover *their* idea of our product. This is the
easiest way to do that.

A Super Simple Method To Turn Your “Sleepy” Opt-In List Into A Heap Of Responsive Subscribers

Today you are going to learn to make your opt-in list SCREAM with subscribers who will eagerly await for every e-mail you send.

This method is kind of a “secret” that is kept from many opt-in list owners and I might very well cause some friction for giving this info out.

But that is what I do…give you the “no fluff and bull” approach to success.

Okay, lets get right to it…

In order to make your list “sing” you must interact with your subscribers.

You must make them “feel” like a part of your family.

To do this you can use the simple but powerful method of…Surveys!

Yep. Surveys.

This is your key to a proactive opt-in list.

In order to have a responsive list, you must know exactly what your subscribers want.

Here is how you can accomplish this…

Simply write an e-mail to your list and ask them very pertinent questions.

Ask them their “wants and needs”.

Ask them what type of products/services they would like to see in your publication AND are willing to pay for.

Ask what type of articles help out the best.

Simply interact with your subscribers. Make them your friend.

You can also run a more elaborate survey that uses a program to gather and produce your results.

A good program for this is “Survey Monkey” and you can find it at http://www.surveymonkey.com

Its a free program by the way.

Survey Monkey tabulates the results to every question and is great for gauging the effectiveness of your survey.

So in a nutshell, here is how it works.

–Make your subscribers your friend.

–Ask your list their “wants and needs”.

–Compile the results

–Give them what they ask for!

Follow this simple method and watch your opt-in list EXPLODE!

Gary will “pre-build” you a fresh opt-in list of 5,000
opportunity prospects and teach you his proven method
to quickly and easily use your new list for maximum
profits and results. To get your list click here:

To Subscribe or NOT to Subscribe - Is there Even a Question?

Subscribers - Your Key “Ingredient” - And You Need to BE One!

Simply put, the best thing you can do for yourself is receive
the publications you’ve chosen to advertise in. And though
the obvious reason would be to see your ad in print, that’s
NOT the critical reason why you need to subscribe.

You subscribe because it works to your advantage TO
subscribe!

As an advertiser, you need ezines with subscribers, right?
If they are reading, your advertising is also being read.

Reading = interest = sales.

As an advertiser, you NEED your ad seen by other marketers or
people looking for a market, the people working within your own
field or trying to find that foothold, people just like you who are
looking for that perfect program or product.

So, imagine for just a moment everyone in the marketing world
wishing to advertise, but not willing to subscribe…

Then ask yourself… Whose left to read YOUR ad?

You have the desire to market and advertise online. You NEED
people with similar goals and vision subscribed to those ezines
and newsletters.

If you want them to receive the ezine and your ad, you need to
be willing to receive them, too. Plain and simple.

Turning Your Subscription Into Your Advantage

I’ve been publishing TheWizWorld MRC Newsletter in some way,
shape or form, since February 2000, and I can also tell you that
publishing IS a lot of work, scheduling, and keeping everyone
happy - and I truly love it!

And, it’s always a pleasure when the “impersonal advertiser” takes
an interest in the ezine and begins contributing, building up
his or her own personal name recognition (their name branding)
by providing input, resources, questions and answers, and more.

Keep in mind this year, that it’s not by chance that you know
many of the “big boys and girls” of the net by name! They work
very, very hard to make sure you know them… and it’s working,
right?

One place for YOU to begin cultivating that same advantage is in
your subscription. Participate! Interact with your primary source
of advertising - your ezines!

Not only will this embed YOUR name into the minds of other
readers, but publishers worldwide will be thrilled! Two wonderful
birds with one stone!

You gain personal name branding, the publisher gets what they
need - your active input.

It’s a fine balance - advertiser and publisher, and can be a true
win-win situation!

So, choose the high road. Advertise, participate in your
subscriptions, and reap the benefits!

You’ll be glad you did!

Effective Strategies for Making Money Online

So you have heard the success stories of
people making money online and now you want to
start making money online yourself. But what
businesses are good bets for making money
online? A simple Internet search will leave
you inundated with making money online
strategies. There isn’t time to try them all
and you wouldn’t want to anyway. You want to
find the making money online strategy that is
going to work for you. Here are a few
strategies that, if followed, should get you
headed in the right direction.

The first and foremost rule for finding
success making money online is to meet a need.
Offering a product or service that no one
wants is not going to help in making money. Do
your homework. Find out what people are
clamoring for and you will be well on your way
to making money online. How does this help
with making money? Well a great way of tapping
into the hot things that are already making
money for people online is to do an Internet
search. There are a number of search term
suggestion tools that can guide you in your
making money online search by helping you find
out the kinds of things that people are
looking for. These tools will give you
comprehensive lists of what people are
searching the Internet for. Armed with these
lists you will be much further ahead in your
making money online decision process.

Once you have your search term suggestion
lists you may feel a little overwhelmed in
your making money online search. The lists are
bound to be huge and you may feel like a
victim of making money online overload. So the
next important step in your making money
online search is to pare these lists down. One
great way to make these making money online
lists more manageable is to eliminate all the
things that you have absolutely no interest
in. The last thing you want is to be stuck
doing something you have no interest in.

You’re interested in making money but you have
to find something that interests you. Either
go through the lists and scratch out anything
that doesn’t interest you or make a list of
the things that you would enjoy making money
doing and use it as a check list against your
big lists. Either way, by the time you’re done
you should have your making money choices
narrowed down to a manageable level.

Finally, let me give you a word of warning.
Many people looking for ways of making money
online fall into the trap of companies that
provide you lists of other companies that they
say are looking for people interested in
making money online. They say you will have a
vast amount of options for making money from
the lists they send you. Don’t believe it for
a second. The only people making money from
these lists are the people selling you the
lists.

So to recap, search for the things that are
already making money for people, then dig
through until you find the making money
opportunity that’s right for you. Put your
making money idea to work and enjoy yourself
while making money.

Proven Techniques For Building A Responsive List

We’ve all heard those who have Internet business-success stories proclaim, “Nothing will make you as much money as building a responsive list!” The trouble is, most people won’t let you in on their secrets for building these goldmines. In reality, it isn’t all that hard to do.

I’ll be the first to break the silence. Below you’ll find the proven techniques you need for building a responsive list. In step-by-step format, you’ll see exactly what actions to take - and in which order - to develop a subscriber base you can generate revenue from for years to come!

STEP ONE - Find Out What Your Subscribers Want

One of the biggest mistakes I see people make when trying to build a list is to not understand their subscribers. Once you’ve decided what topic your newsletter will revolve around, take time to interact with your prospective subscribers.

Ask them what they want to read about. Find out where they are struggling. Research their needs diligently. This is the only way you’ll be sure to provide what your subscribers really want.

One great idea is to use www.surveymonkey.com to conduct a survey. Ask several questions in order to find out as much as you can about your subscribers (or future subscribers). These questions might include:

1) Are you male or female?

2) What is your occupation?

3) How long have you [been in business, owned a pet, designed stained glass windows, or whatever relates to the topic of your ezine]?

4) What are the three areas you struggle most with in regard to [the topic of your ezine]?

5) What information have you been searching for, but been unable to find?

6) What article topics would you like to see in [name of your ezine]?

And any others you can think of.

STEP TWO - Have Something Of Value To Offer

Once you’ve gotten the information you need from your subscribers, don’t waste it! Use the information to offer something of value.

Did you find from your survey that most of your subscribers are professional women with children who are interested in timesaving tips? Then give them tips! Not worn out, everyday, ordinary tips. Take the time to create or research innovative tips designed specifically to help professional women with children live more productive and stress-free lives.

If you deliver a newsletter that’s disappointing in the eyes of your readers, you’ll soon find your subscriber base will dwindle down to nothing, so go all out!

STEP THREE - Promote, Promote, Promote!

Yes, you’ll want to put subscription boxes throughout your own website to drive subscribers to your list. But don’t stop there. There are virtually TONS of ezine directories and ezine announcement lists online that can dramatically increase your number of subscribers.

Here’s a short list. You can quickly search any search engine to find more ezine directories.

http://www.e-zinez.com
http://www.inkpot.com/zines/

http://www.ideamarketers.com
http://www.list-a-day.com
http://www.zinos.com

STEP FOUR - Be A Dependable Resource

Word of mouth spreads quickly about newsletters and ezines that actually offer solid, dependable content and resources. Make sure you are one of them!

With each issue, take time to do your best work yet. Offer original articles or new reprints (not articles that are months old) plus resources that you have checked out yourself and approve of. Your subscribers will soon develop a sense of trust and loyalty and will repay you for your time by buying from you.

A FINAL WORD OF CAUTION: DON’T endorse every new ebook, software product, or affiliate program that comes down the pike. Be selective. Remember, once your subscribers realize what an honest and true publisher you are, they’ll gladly trust your opinions, purchase those products you selectively recommend, and refer your ezine to others they know.

Evaulating Web Site Performance

Setting up a website is the very first step of an Internet
marketing campaign, and the success or failure of your site
depends greatly on how specifically you have defined your
website goals. If you don’t know what you want your site to
accomplish, it will most likely fail to accomplish
anything. Without goals to guide you in developing and
monitoring your website, all your site will be is an online
announcement that you are in business.

If you expect your site to stimulate some form of action,
whether it is visitors filling out a form so a
representative can contact them, or purchasing a product,
there are steps you can take to insure that your website is
functioning at peak efficiency. One of the first indicators
of how well your site is working for you is finding out the
number of visitors in a given period of time. A good
baseline measurement is a month in which you haven’t been
doing any unusual offline promotional activities.

However, just because hoards of people have passed through
your gates does not mean your site is successful. Usually,
you want those visitors to actually do something there. It
is equally important to monitor the number of visitors to
your site who made a purchase. This figure is called the
site conversion rate, and it is an essential element of the
efficacy of your website.

To find the site conversion rate, take the number of
visitors per month and figure out the percentage of them
that actually performed the action your site is set up for.
For example, if you had 2,000 hits to your site, but only
25 of them purchased your product, your site conversion
rate equals 1.25%. To get this figure, take your number of
visitors and divide that figure by the number of visitors
who made a purchase. Then divide that result by 100 (25 ?00 X 100).

If your website is set-up to get visitors to fill out a
form, make sure to then figure out what the difference is
between your site conversion rate and your sales conversion
rate. This is because not everyone who fills out your form
will actually become your customer. However, whether your
site is set-up to sell a service or product, or to get the
visitor to fill out a form, the site conversion rate will
measure the success or failure of your website whenever you
make changes to the site.

You may find that you need to implement some additional
marketing strategies if you find that traffic to your site
is extremely low. There are several effective methods to
improve the flow of traffic to your website, particularly
launching a search engine optimization campaign. This
campaign is targeted at increasing your position in search
engine results so that consumers can find your pages faster
and easier. You can either research the steps you need to
take to improve your search engine rankings, or employ a
search engine optimization company to do the work for you.
In either case, after your have improved your search engine
positions, make sure you keep on top of them by regular
monitoring and adjusting of your efforts to maintain high
positions.

Another factor to examine is how easy it is for a visitor
to your website to accomplish the action the site is set-up
for. For example, if your goal is for the visitor to fill
out a form, is this form easily accessible, or does the
visitor have to go through four levels to get to it? If
it’s too difficult to get to, the customer may just throw
in the towel and move on to another site. Make sure your
buttons are highly visible, and the path to your form or
ordering page quickly accessible.

Finally, have a professional evaluate the copy on your
website. The goal is, of course, to get your visitor to
make a purchase or fill out your form. Website copy must be
specifically geared to your online campaign and not just a
cut and paste job from your company brochure. The right
copy can make the difference between profit and loss in
your online campaign.

Making Money Online: What You Really Want To Know

So you’ve been thinking of doing some internet marketing or you’ve done some and you’re not making money yet. What does it really take? Even more importantly, how long does it take and how much does it cost? Isn’t that what you really want to know?

The problem with this question is that there isn’t a black and white answer. It’s not like you can spend $500 and you will definitely get a specific result. For some reason though that’s how people think it works.

A lot of folks buy this or that “how to” product and think it’s going to magically make them money. The key ingredient to making money from these products you buy is to take action and do what they tell you to do.

Just like buying a piece of excercise equipment won’t make you lose weight, buying the greatest “how to make money on the internet” product won’t make you money if you don’t use it.

But if you buy proven products and do what they tell you, then it’s simple to build a great business. It can happen for you though it probably won’t happen overnight.

We all know the internet is full of hype and also has a lot of genuine success stories. The biggest truth or lie, depending on how you see it, is that you can make good money fast. Whether this is true or false depends on what you’re willing to do and what you think “fast” is.

Internet marketing is not a get rich quick scheme. It’s a business which means there is time, money and work involved. If you think becoming rich in 3 to 5 years is quick then I guess this can be a get rich vehicle for you. If you don’t think 5 or even 10 years is quick for getting rich, then think about how many people you know who have done it in 5 years. Or in 20? Or in their lifetimes?

The only people I know who have done this have done it through internet marketing, direct marketing, network marketing or through owning their own company. None of them are just employees. The cheapest and fastest way to get there is through internet marketing.

FACT: 74% of the wealthiest people in America own their own business. If there’s one thing they have that maybe you don’t, it’s their own business.

Even the internet marketing gurus will tell you that it’s never been easier to make good money online. If you listen to the folks who are the biggest successes today most of them started at least 3 years ago. Some of them started back before the internet was called the internet. It was a lot rougher then. Even 3 years ago they didn’t have the advantages we have today.

You can buy subscribers to build your ezine lists. You can use pay-per-click search engines. You can read hundreds of e-zines for great free tips. You can make money through free affiliate programs. You can swap for free ads that reach over 10,000 people at a time. You can make a lot of money from e-bay and online auctions. You have a lot more potential partners for joint ventures than they ever had.

Most importantly, you can buy “how to” products from the people who are internet marketing millionaires. You can follow their directions to get where they are. They had to make it up from scratch when times were harder and now you can do it faster with fewer mistakes.

So if you really want to make good money online what do you do? Research the big dogs. Do what’s been proven to work. And treat your business like a business or you’ll end up with an expensive hobby. If you’re just kicking the tires to see what’ll happen, nothing will. This is true with anything you do in life, not just internet marketing.

Internet marketing is a tremendous vehicle for making great money. Like any vehicle, it won’t go down the road if you don’t gas it up, turn the key and push on the accelerator.

How long it takes to get to the top of the hill at the end of the road depends on how much gas you put in, how hard you press the accelerator, how well you steer and how good your map is.

The first year you drove a car did you drive as well as you do now? No. You’ve gotten better with experience. So don’t expect money to fall out of the sky the first year you do internet marketing. Can you make good money the first year? Sure. But it depends on how much work you do to pay your dues and get some experience.

Like driving a car, the longer you do it the better you get (which means the more money you make).

If you’re a tire kicker I suggest you put your money in your pocket, walk away now and spend your time on something you love to do. If you’re driven to build your own business I suggest you invest your time, energy and money into internet marketing. The payoff can be priceless. See you at the top of the hill at the end of the road.

An Internet Marketing Mentor Can Help You Create Steady Income

A mentor does not buy, sell or negotiate. A mentor provides a service. In essence, mentoring is simply helping someone else play their cards right and become successful in internet marketing.

So defined, mentoring has been a business practice for a long time. Recent estimates indicate that many successful internet marketers have used a mentor as a standard business practice. Mentors choose to help others reach their goals for various reasons, the most common reason being to gain support and help for their own projects and from a true desire to assist others. After all, what good is knowledge and information if you don’t share it with someone who needs your help?

Many mentors help a peer or friend become a successful internet marketer in order to achieve personal satisfaction and develop friendships. Also, you’ve probably experienced a friend saying, “I helped you, and now I need help too…” Basically, being or having a mentor is an exchange of services and friendship.

One reason mentoring is popular, especially in the internet marketing industry, is that it provides free training that normally would be provided through special training classes which could cost a lot of money. Mentors willingly provide this service, as it is simply the bottom line method for a large number of internet marketers. In times of little or no cash flow, mentoring is a highly desirable commodity, and mentoring is becoming even more widespread. Mentoring offers a way to hold onto cash while continuing to get advice and training regarding internet marketing.

In addition to saving costs, mentoring can improve cash flow and liquidity by avoiding the high cost internet marketing seminars and online training courses. For anyone who is starting up a home business, this is vitally important. For the individual who is lucky enough to have a mentor, it makes it possible to save existing funds and apply them to advertising and web site development.

To successfully become a mentor, you must think in terms of a trainer, a financial guide, and a technical advisor if you want to help someone succeed in internet marketing. After all, that is the precise reason for mentoring - to bring together an individual with success. Your first task is to determine exactly what the individual hopes to accomplish. As a one-person training staff, you will need to know everything about the potential home business as well as get to know the personal hopes and dreams of your protégé. In effect, you are providing your expertise and/or time to help another person achieve their goals as an internet marketer.

Having a mentor to help you successfully start up your home business is a stroke of luck if you are on the receiving end. You explain your wants or needs to your mentor and he/she will provide you with suggestions based on their past experiences. You will be wise to listen to these suggestions, as they are mostly methods that have already been tried and proven to work. Your home business mentor can help you with advice on start-up costs, technical advice, and guide you through the process of establishing sales leads, getting the funding you need, and most likely provide you with the names of others who are specialized in their respective fields.

Why go it alone, making the same mistakes that have already been made by others? Let a mentor help you on the road profitable internet marketing by giving you the benefit of their experience and expertise.

are, your site “doesn’t exist” if you’re not
getting the traffic!

Why is it so incredible difficult to get
listed at the top search engines? Here’s the
reason why:

If there exists for any number of highly
popular keywords(computer, sports, health,
business, etc.) anywhere starting from a
minimum of 20 thousand to 100s of thousands of
web sites that relate one way or another to
them, what do you think happens?

All of those web site owners under any popular
keywords want to be listed at the top ten
positions at the major search engines. This
fierce battle to be listed at the top ten is
what makes it almost impossible for countless
of web site owners to even get noticed.

If your web site is listed at Yahoo down at
5,671, you’re in deep trouble! Who in the
Internet world(or in the right mind) is going
to bother to search all the way down to your
listing at 5,671? No way!

The Alternative

But there’s another way to beat the getting
listed-at-the major search engine nightmare:
Pay for your top website listing by using
pay-per-click search engines.

Recent statistics from payperclicksearch-
engines.com show that the well-known Goto.com,
the king pay-per-click search engine, gets
approximately 10 million searches a day!
That’s about 300 million searches in a month.
Boy, that’s a lot of searches from only one
pay-per-click search engine!

Not only that: Payperclicksearchengines.com
website states: “You’ll receive more traffic
from Goto.com than from all the other
pay-per-click engines combined.” That’s a lot
of search power from only one pay-per-click.
Can you imagine how much traffic you’d get if
you were listed at the top 5 listings at
Goto.com!

It gets even better at Goto: Payperclick-
searchengines.com also states that in the top
10 listings at Goto your link will appear
when someone searches using Dogpile meta
search engine.

If you’re in the top six, you’ll also appear
in the Metacrawler searches.

So the bottom line: If you cannot get listed
at the top ten major search engines, don’t
fret; you can use a major pay-per-click search
engine, such as Goto.com and pay for a top
listing instead of wishing upon a shooting
star for a top search engine position for your
site!

So, you realize how a major pay-per-click
search engine like Goto can solve your
getting-listed-at the major search engine
blues.

Now, well look how you can use Goto to your
advantage for driving mega traffic to your
site.

How The Pay-Per-Click Search Engines Work

When you use a pay-per-click search engine,
like Goto you agree to pay a certain amount
for each visitor who clicks through to your
web site. For example, let’s suppose the web
site in the number one position in search
results has bid 8 cents per prospective
customer; this means that that advertiser
agreed to pay 8 cents for each individual who
clicks on their link to take him/her to their
site. If position number two and three has
bid a little less than 8 cents, that’s how
much the advertiser is paying for each
visitor who clicks on their listing.

This kind of bid for position system will
guarantee a high placement for your web site;
all you got to do is out bid the site
currently in the position you want. This is
called “instant positioning.” Great, isn’t
it? (No waiting from two weeks to six months
to an entire year to get listed at the major
search engines!)

Recommendations

Don’t just bid on two or three keywords. Do
not just bid on six or twelve. Try to bid on
20, 50, 100, or as many as 500 keywords. This
way you might achieve 20, 50, or 100 times
more traffic to your site.

In order to submit many keyword bids, use
Goto’s spreadsheet template which you can
download. You fill it out and then return it.

Try to fit your keyword listing into the
popular categories, such as travel, sports,
computers, etc. You’ll get a lot more traffic
to your site if your listing appears at the
top 3 bids. Why? Because the top listings
at the popular categiories will show up on
the search engine site’s home page.

It’s an effective strategy to focus on only
one product or service in promoting; don’t
try to promote an entire category of products.

Do not send your potential customers to a web
site that will confuse them; make the web
page that you’re planning to send them
specifically designed for a particular
product, service, or program.

Strategies To Boost Your Click Throughs

Bid for a lower not too expensive position
for the more popular keywords.

Study and pay careful attention to each
popular keyword and the price at which each
advertiser is paying for that position.

You don’t necessarily have to be first. Some
advertisers in order to have first place
positions are paying mountains of money and
draining their account, sometimes without
generating enough sales. You can easily get a
decent position, like third or fourth place
very cheaply.

Aim to get listed on the first page, whether
you’re tenth or sixteenth place. Research have
shown that listings at the top and bottom of
premium pages are far more likely to get
clicked on as opposed to the middle.

You must strive to write a good ad copy that
jumps out at the potential customer. Your
headline will greatly determine how many
targeted potential visitors you’ll get at your
web site. Tell them in your copy what you’re
promoting and a number of good reasons why
they should click on your link to visit your
site.

Bid for only keywords that are relevant to
your project. Do not waste your limited
resources on keywords that will not help sell
and promote your products and services. It’s
a good strategy to bid as many relevant
keywords as possible. You will get a lot more
potential customers visiting your site. You
will be able to get sometimes effective
clicks for pennies!

Tracking Your Keywords

You got to track your keywords. You got to
know which keywords are getting the most
clicks.

As you monitor your keywords, you will be
able to better tune your efforts by upgrading
the value of your bids, increasing and
removing keywords.

You must check your keyword position on a
consistent daily basis to be on top. Others
will bid for top keyword positions and can
drive your keyword position down really fast!

All of this keyword maintenance, keyword
brain-storming, and bidding will easily absorb
20 to 30 hours of your time each week!
