Choose Your Best Life: Where Are Your Choices Leading You?

According to the dictionary choice means “to select freely after consideration, to have a preference for, to take an alternative and of high caliber.” Based on this definition, I believe choice is the act of careful selection, identifying preferences and exploring quality alternatives that lead to freedom. How often do we approach our choices in such a deliberately thoughtful way?

As a business owner, it’s important to note that choice speaks to your commitment to building and growing your business while looking at all possible available options. Choice involves thoughtful decision-making and focuses on doing and being your best in life. More importantly, choice implies that there is an opportunity to have freedom and victory in all that you do. Here’s an approach to mastering the art of choice so you can propel your business and life forward:

• Consider your business mission. Use your mission as a guide for what’s appropriate in, and specific for, your business. By the way, making the right choices for your business is nearly impossible if you don’t have a mission. (It means you also have no framework with which to operate your business.)

• Consider your business priorities. This consideration will help you focus on what’s important and tie your choices to these priorities. Review and repeat this consideration to account for changes in priorities based on other factors like timing, market information, or new opportunities.

• Have clear business goals; match them to your business mission. Your mission partnered with clear business goals are guidelines for clear targets like your ideal client and defined niche. Revisit and revise your goals regularly so that your choices are consistently aligned with your mission and priorities.

• Identify what you’re willing to do to support your business mission and priorities. These intentions represent your commitments to act. Keep these intentions at the forefront of your choices and ultimately your actions. Intentions reinforce your responsibility to build and maintain your business.

• Exercise courage by acting on your mission, priorities, goals and intentions. Engage others to hold you accountable to your actions. It’s easy to think we can do it alone but why would you want to when you have others who are able and willing to support you. Are you your best accountability partner?

• STRETCH — Take risks and expand opportunities to do “one more thing” to act on your mission, goals, priorities and intentions. Look at how you build “one more thing” into your daily, weekly and monthly tasks. It’s all about moving forward.

By mastering the art of choice, you recognize the power you have to choose what happens in your life and business. It sounds simple and easy…and it truly is! When you underscore what’s really important you’re well on your way to mastering the art of choice. Prepare yourself for the freedom and fulfillment you’re creating. Remember, it IS a choice!

Forge a Path with a Steadfast Will

In a previous article we discussed the importance of possessing or acquiring certain needed traits in order to move forward toward your goals. We expounded on the importance of developing an Intense Desire and how so doing would move you to action. In this article we are going to examine another needed attribute. To continue to forge a path toward prosperity you must possess or develop a Steadfast Will.

Will power enables you to maintain balance and constructively utilize all your energies. It will afford you the ability to overcome inertia and the temptation to procrastinate. You may be attempting new and difficult tasks and with a weak will you have little chance of succeeding. A Steadfast Will, on the other hand, empowers you to follow through on your decisions. To succeed in business, to fulfill dreams, to master an art, to become skilled in a new profession requires determination, perseverance and an indomitable will. Therefore it behooves you to develop a strong, resilient will, one that will carry you through impediment.

How can you strengthen your willpower? Create physical, emotional, and mental challenges to test yourself and overcome them. Just as physical exercise strengthens your body muscles, challenges to your mind will brace you determination and endurance.

For example, do something you are fearful of to put your emotions to the test. I do not like the dark and generally leave a light on at night. Recently I decided to confront my fear. I have been walking/sitting in the dark. At first I was fearful and uncomfortable. My urge was to get up quickly and turn on the light. But I exercised my will (I wanted to conquer my fear) and stayed in the dark until I was unafraid.

Challenge your physical will by walking a few miles daily, Each day increase the distance to demand more from yourself when it becomes strenuous. Use difficult crossword puzzles or a profound book to challenge your mind. The key to making it successful and strengthening your will is to not give up when it gets difficult or tiring but going on until you have completed the task at hand.

Use your inner power to overcome these small challenges and you will develop an inner strength.that will overcome the internal emotional and mental resistance for taking action. If you persist in an earnest endeavor to become stronger, whether it be physical, emotional or mental, you will succeed in creating a steadfast will. A Steadfast Will , once elicited into action, can lead you into happy and prosperous lifestyle, brushing aside every hindrance.

Achieve Your Goals Through The Magic Of Consistency

Consistency seems to be a boring idea at first sight. It lacks glamour and excitement. But, when you look more closely, consistency is anything but boring. It contains the secret of achievement and success. It is the key to an almost magical power than can transform lives.

Consistency means repeating the same behaviors regularly and without exceptions. Consistent behavior is the opposite of erratic behavior. Skipping workouts is an example of erratic behavior. Performing all or most of your workouts is an example of consistency.

Consistency creates powerful habits; lack of consistency and exceptions mean that you have to start building the habits all over again.

Consistency allows the seeds to grow and the fruit to arrive. Regular, patient, consistent action is necessary to achieve good results. Even winning the lottery requires buying a ticket and entering the numbers.

A woman who won the US $162 million lottery is quoted as saying, that she played the same numbers consistently for two years. She didn’t play it once or twice and give up as so many people do.

She steadfastly believed that her dream of winning the lottery would be realized. Consistency may occasionally work even in the notoriously risky world of gambling.

Recently, I read an outstanding article by T.J. Walker, the public speaking and communication expert. He commented on how often communication breaks down on the internet because of a lack of consistency.

Ezines, blogs and podcasts often only last for one or two issues and then they disappear. Either their creators ran out of material or foolishly expected success after one or two efforts and gave up when the results of their efforts were disappointing.

Most marketing gurus insist that sales only come after about seven email messages have been sent to a list of potential customers.

Many would be entrepreneurs lack the patience and consistency to send out even seven messages to their lists. They are unlikely to succeed in winning the trust of their customers.

Nearly any goal worth achieving demands regular and consistent efforts. If you want to achieve a black belt in a martial art, you need to show up to one training session after another whether you feel like it or not.

I know, from many years of experience, that students who show up regularly for training almost always achieve their goal of becoming a black belt.

However, I have had some very talented students who lacked patience and only showed up sporadically. When their progress up the ladder of success seemed too slow to them, they gave up and disappeared.

When I examine my martial arts students at grading sessions, I often congratulate them for just being there. I tell them that they are already half way through the grading because they have shown up and in the famous words of Woody Allen: “80% of success in life is just showing up.”

By showing up, my students have shown that they have guts and are willing to accept the fact that they might look foolish if they forget their syllabus or perform it badly. Not every one can face this possibility and I even had one student give up the martial art because the grading seemed too worrying.

One person who has never failed to show up in the UK and about a third of the rest of the world is Queen Elizabeth II. For over half a century she has shown up at one formal and informal occasion after another in good and bad times. She has traveled thousands of miles around the world to achieve her goal of being a servant of her country and the commonwealth.

Today was her 80th birthday and most of the country and even the media showed their appreciation for her consistent adherence to duty. One paper actually called her “Elizabeth the Great”.

Greatness only comes when efforts are consistent. Champion teams win championships not because they win every match but because they consistently play well and with determination and, as a result, win most of their matches.

An individual loses weight because they stick consistently to their diet and to their exercise regime. A body builder adds muscle weight because he consistently attends the gym whether he feels like it or not. The champions do not give up when they feel tired or bored or when results seem painfully slow.

Daily efforts create habits and habits make it easier to make those daily efforts but it still takes hard work and the determination to follow through every single day no matter what.

To achieve your goals repeat your efforts every single day. Turn up in the gym or wherever you need to. Don’t be like my step brother who was once told: “You won’t turn up for your own funeral!”

Occasionally you make have to make an exception and miss out on the desired behavior. One way to avoid exceptions is to perform the behavior you have planned as early as possible in the day before the rest of the family and the cat start demanding your attention!

Another way to avoid exceptions is to make a list of your most important daily behaviors in order of importance. Stick it on your wall and read it as soon as you get up. This way, your consistency will not falter because of a poor memory.

Repeat the desired or planned behavior daily and with as few exceptions as possible and you will make gradual but certain progress and eventually achieve your loftiest goals and dreams.

Even if you don’t achieve all your goals and dreams, you will have at least become a great character and a person of value because you did what you planned to do on a daily basis. That, at least, is a goal worth achieving.

Improving Your Job

Your vocation should basically be under your mastery. In the ideal world, you would go on in your chosen corporation for doing your tasks well and doing it on time. However, if you are wishing for a deserved pay rise or you require advancement you will find that you are frequently disregarded in preference for workers that you know are not as skillful as you are.

There is no use in performing brilliantly, if the right people don’t hear about it. Networking in the company you’re employed for might not seem to be the perfect way to invest your time, but it will ensure that your face fits. Never be scared to put your best foot frontward and sing your own praises if needful. When you execute something praiseworthy let your bosses and, when necessary, their managers know. If you come up with a construct that will probably make a profit or economize then tell the right folk about it. Setting goals is a significant part of this target.

With short, medium and long term goals you’ll be able to micro manage each facet of your career. Your short-term goals should be aimed towards achieving your medium-term goals, which in turn should assist you in achieving your long-term goals. Write down your goals and maintain a tally of how you do. Incessantly ensure that they are achievable but rewarding. If your goals are too elementary and you can reach them without much effort, then there’s no real point. Or, if your goals are too hard you may quickly become disheartened and give up. Life can throw the occasional obstruction or surprising present your way and so it’s going to be obligatory from time to time to re-appraise your position. Try to only modify your immediate goals if you’re worse than predicted and your medium-term goals if better than you had thought.

When called for a consultant interview it is useful to get the advice and planning needed to ensure that you perform well on the day and secure your future.

Make Money with Adult Affiliate

Okay, so you’re searching for other modes to grow your on-line job and you can’t help but find all those adult oriented matchmaking internet sites popping up everywhere the place. After awhile you start asking yourself if it’s time to replace or augment your G-rated online dating affiliate links with parties offering something a small more seductive.
Good ahead you decide to take the leap into some of these ‘Naughty Niches,’ there are different other queries you should be taking yourself before doing so.
First Question: Can I really make money being bad?
In a Dating and Relationship Marketplace consumer study we directed during October up December 2008, over 27% of the responders stated they had bought lingerie or sexy clothing online during the anticipatory 12 calendar months. Up 20% of the responders said they purchased Sex Toys on-line during this same period of time. Of the 33 other product categories we tracked, these 2 adult corners were the top two most named families for online purchases.
Medium-Small web sites like ragazzeinvendita.com claims to have been appealing up 300,000 specific users a calendar month during its first year of operation. Numbers I’m sure any webmaster would like to reach.
So is there money to be made promoting or entering in these growing marketplace segments? Good it’s plain that many societies are doing quite well exploiting these most prime human wants. Just earlier you decide to participate, consider the next question first.

Second Question: Can I be naughty and nice at the same time?

If you’re concerned about what your clients might consider of your different focalize, you can ever experiment with your different niche anonymously. Domain name registrars now provide private registrations.Mix a personal domain name enrollment with a pseudonym and you’ll be able to ‘mind your own business’ until you require to make your new business organisation activity public. I’m not suggesting that you take this approach, I’m just saying it’s an available alternative.
Today if the above all seems too bad and clandestine for you, then you require to answer the next question honestly.
Third Question: Is a Naughty corner really fine for my business?
Whether, or not, you select to expand or rise your business in one of these Hot Niches is, of course, whole over to you
So what’s the response?
Man nature being what it is, there will always be money to be made targeting some niche having to do with sex. The Net has taken entree to ‘all things naughty’ easier and, to some extent, less told mainstream than ever in front. Can joining the Naughty niche gold rush be the strategy that makes your business to different levels of profitability, or will it be a strategy that at long last defeats your goose that’s already laying your golden eggs. The solution will be different for all business organisation proprietor. Simply the queries will stay the identical.

Applying Action To Your Inner Desires!

“I know what I need to do, but I’m scared that I won’t succeed.” Who among us hasn’t been stuck in this scenario before? We know what to do, but we don’t put knowledge into action. The end result is the frustration of staying stuck in the current reality even though change is desired.

The outcome is usually determined by who wins the battle that rages within. It seems one part wants to get started and achieve the goal, while another part desires to stop, give up, or take it easy. An inner tug of war ensues between the two parts. Which side will win? Achieving success depends on not allowing these two parts to maintain a perpetual battle and keep you at a stalemate. Success can be realized by becoming conscious of these two opposing sides, and brining yourself into the playing field. You always have the choice of which side to nurture, cultivate, and strengthen.

A Native American elder once described his own inner struggles in this manner: “Inside of me there are two dogs. One of the dogs is mean and evil. The other dog is good. The mean dog fights the good dog all the time.” When asked which dog wins he reflected for a moment and replied, “The one I feed the most.”

To become successful and move beyond maintaining status quo, check out the list below for some ideas on how to take action. Find the inner motivation that will enable you to conquer complacency and move forward. Even though change is difficult, it is absolutely possible.

1. FEAR - FALSE EMOTION APPEARING REAL.

It is normal that a part of you has fear that insists, perhaps rather loudly, not to get started. Avoiding being scared when creating change is unlikely. One lesson worth learning: Be scared . . . and do it anyway. It may be impossible to take a step without experiencing fear. What I’m trying to say is don’t wait for the fear to leave before you take the action.

Listen to what fear has to say, find a way to soothe the part of you that has fear, and know that you are not your fear. Fear is something you created, perhaps unconsciously, to keep you safe. Since you’ve created it, and it is a part of you, it will say whatever is most effective to scare you off. Fear acts as an imaginary wall to keep you from moving forward. Since it’s your wall, you can always find a way over, around, or through it. Take a deep breath, take some action, and the action itself will eventually dissipate the wall of fear. Action does not need to take place in the absence of fear.

2. THOUGHTS DETERMINE SUCCESS.

Earl Nightingale has a saying: “We become what we think about.” So what do you think about? Are your thoughts more centered on fear of failure, or the joy of taking action? Thoughts have a powerful impact on our attitude, and our ability to get started.

Dr. James Prochaska in his book, “Changing For Good” lists the “idea” of change as one of the necessary precursor steps to taking action. In other words, ideas are the starting point. We have to have the idea about what we’re going to do before we can actually do it. Ideas give us direction and insight. Next time the idea taking action pops into your head, don’t be so quick to dismiss or belittle it. So often an idea comes to mind, perhaps about taking a walk or eating differently, but because we haven’t acted upon it yet, we put ourselves down.

Be joyous the idea has sprung forth and find ways to cultivate it. Pronounce joy in the idea itself, instead of berating yourself for having the idea but not yet taking action. Cultivate the thought, celebrate the idea, and allow your life force to flow naturally.

3. START SMALL.

Sometimes we find ourselves hesitant to begin because we are overwhelmed by the enormity of what lies before us. The goal looks HUGE . . . so daunting and complex that we freeze up.

Yet it doesn’t have to be like that. It helps to break down the goal into manageable pieces. You probably already do this in other successful areas of your business or personal life. You take something big, and chunk it down into bite sized pieces. Then you make a list of action steps, prioritize, and separate the “nice-to-have’s” from the “need to have’s”. Then you work the first piece first, eventually moving on to the second, the third, and so on. Pretty soon that overwhelming task doesn’t look so insurmountable any more.

Don’t underestimate the power of baby steps. If 40 minutes of exercise five days a week seems absolutely impossible, how about five minutes today? Tomorrow will take care of itself. What action step can you take today?

4. CHANGE YOUR ROUTINE.

How long has it been since you’ve had your desired outcome in mind, but haven’t moved forward? Maybe it’s time to shake up your routine. Take a moment and notice the patterns of your day. Have they become predictable and dull? Now check out the goal you have in mind for yourself. Is there perhaps one step in your goal that sounds kind of fun, exciting, different? Not only could you begin taking action on something you’ve been wanting all along, but it could shake you out of a rut. Here’s a couple of examples:

* Start your day with an inspirational quote along with your breakfast.

* Play upbeat, loud, dancing music in the morning.

* Have a pillow fight with your kids or partner to get yourself laughing.

* Take a different route to or from work.

* Before rushing out the door, take one minute for yourself. Sit down, close your eyes, relax your body for 60 seconds, and imagine yourself successfully accomplishing the first step of your goal.

List your own ideas:

5. REWARD YOURSELF.

One way to motivate yourself to do something when you don’t feel like doing it is to offer yourself an incentive. For instance, if you eat one extra serving of vegetables today, you can allow yourself the luxury of sleeping in tomorrow morning. Maybe you’ll buy that CD you’ve been wanting, or take a bubble bath, or get a pedicure.

Give yourself small rewards on a regular basis. It can do wonders for your motivation. Find ways to make the change you are creating as enjoyable as possible. No one is forcing you to change, it’s something you’ve decided to do on your own. Why not make it as fun as possible? Rewards don’t have to be big or expensive, they just have to be something meaningful to you. Make a list of delightful rewards and link them with your actions!

Your list of rewards:

____________________________________

____________________________________

____________________________________

____________________________________

6. CONNECT THE ACTION WITH PLEASURE NOT PAIN.

When we are finding ourselves lacking motivation, we are most likely associating the action with pain, rather than pleasure. For instance, when deciding to lose weight, you may be associating the experience with having to eat food you hate, feeling deprived, associating exercise with physical pain or embarrassment, and envisioning failure.

What you can do is remind yourself of the immediate and long term positive benefits. Make a written list of the instant and future payoffs to working on your goal. What will you gain by choosing to work on the goal? Work FOR what you want, not AGAINST what you don’t want.

When fear or doubt begin to creep back in, remind yourself to stand strong in your decisions to have what you want. Create positive tapes to play for yourself to override the negative ones already there. Staying focused on the positive unleashes our internal motivating force and changes our attitude about the action we are considering.

7. ACT IS WHEN THE IDEA IS HOT AND THE EMOTION IS STRONG.

Eventually it’s the right time to turn ideas into action. If ideas have been nutured and developed, you will know intuitively when it’s time to begin. Be aware of when the idea has gained momentum. Notice when positive emotions are present and the idea is strong, clear, and powerful. Listen to your inner self and follow up immediately. If you hear about a motivational book that makes you curious, go out and buy it. Get the book before the idea passes, before the emotion gets cold. Begin the process. If five minutes of exercise sounds good right now, don’t wait until tonight. Don’t force yourself to do forty minutes. Climb on that treadmill and walk five minutes. Tell yourself you did a great job. Feel really good about listening to your inner self and following through. When the time is right, take action; otherwise the wisdom is wasted.

Give these ideas a try and see if you don’t find yourself pushing through into action!

In Response to the Next Sea Change from Bill Gates

Bill gates recently wrote an internal document to his executives, titled “The Sea Change”. This letter speaks of the movement towards internet delivery of content, for Microsoft, its software and numerous other applications. So I went to bed that night after reading that article, and I had a dream……

Last night I had a dream about the fusion of Broadcasting and Internet television, and its current closest medium, podcasting. As podcasting has evolved over the past few years, it has morphed into all sorts of shapes of programming. But the real “Wow” factor behind podcasting is yet to be talked about, or not highly publicized at all.

That is, the merging of what we know as the “internet” and current broadcast, cable or satellite programming. It has long been discussed that the internet and television would one day be one in the same. But there has not been much talk into how this transition, into a new future of “Informative Entertainment” or “Intelligent Programming” will develop.

The question and conundrum that most dreamers faced is, what catalyst will form that will make this bridge possible. Well in my opinion, the catalyst is “podcasting”. Let me explain further.

Podcasting is the fusion of “pod” and “broadcasting”. “Pod” stands for personal-on-demand, so the word means personal on-demand broadcasting. It is based around an internet platform and xml/rss programming. Podcasting has now opened a new section of its market, which is called Video-podcasting, or Vod-casting. Vod-casting is the transmission of video over the internet in podcast format, for viewing on the web, or on personal devices.

Video podcasting has opened the floodgates for internet television to directly compete with traditional broadcast television. Over the next few years, companies like Microsoft will introduce home T.V. set-top boxes, which will stream internet feeds directly to televisions in your home. This is the birth of home internet television in its purest form.

As this medium grows, podcasting will become internet programming. The popularity of podcasting will grow the market to morph once again into a new-age of internet broadcasting companies. These podcasts will become T.V. shows with new programming, or re-runs. These shows will be able to be subscribed to, just like cable, but on an individual basis. As these shows grow in popularity, internet broadcast networks will start to form, and the traditional companies like ABC, CBS, NBC, and all the cable and satellite channels will have to conform to new technology to prevent being swept aside.

As the popularity of internet television grows and everyone has the ability to watch iTV in their home, a new vision will immerge. This new vision is what I call “Informative Entertainment” or “Intelligent Programming”.

Now you ask, “Well, what is this” and “How will that work?” Well, let’s start with the basics. Everyone owns a DVD or two right? If not, you have at least watched one, I hope. Now, when you put a DVD into the machine and turn it on, it takes you to a menu screen. This menu screen gives you options to choose from, such as scenes, extras, director’s cut and so on. These extras are huge draws for DVD sales, like Shrek, Star Wars, Madagascar, etc. The reason they are a big success, is because they put the power of choice in the hand of the user. Whatever your choice may be, the DVD will follow, and execute.

So what if podcasting had the ability to implement “user options”? What if you could watch a Video Podcast, and have the ability to choose different features of that podcast by simply placing your cursor over the screen and choosing your option. What if you had the ability to alter and control video, with the same user applicability that you can on a webpage or search engine.

You see, as I pondered this question, I thought about how this could even be possible, given our current internet code framework. Now I am not a tech junkie at all, in fact the only programming course I ever took was in 7th grade and it was on ms-dos basic. We were making video games with 40 x 40 bitmaps, with 16 bit colors, and h-line, v-line programming.

My current partner in my Podcasting Company, What I Want Podcasting, has extensive knowledge in c+ programming and understands today’s world of code writing. In the few years I have worked with him, I have picked up on a lot of knowledge he has, just by being around him.

So in my dream the other night, I saw a formula. Now this formula is basic in its inception, but I believe a very good beginning base for code-writers to understand the concept.

Video Extensive Hyper-text Markup Language powered by MRSS technology is what I am speaking of. (Vxhtml-mrss) . This is the name I have given it; however it is yet to determined what it will grow into.

In order to bring user manipulation of video and interaction capability, the user must be given an interface. This interface must be translucent in its visual appeal, and it must be synchronized based on bitmap programming to the video below.

Example:

Let’s say you are watching a commercial for a car, an intelligent commercial. This car is driving down the road, and the narrator is telling you about the performance of the vehicle. Now picture yourself with a cursor or arrow, like on any website. You can then place that arrow on pre-programmed places in the video, such as the wheels of the car, the engine of the car, or the windows of the vehicle. Once you click on that location, the intelligence begins to work. You “the user” has chosen to learn more about, let say, “The wheels.” So in theory, as you click on the wheel, a new video will start streaming that tells you all about the wheels of that particular car. These video will be programmed, and are ready to play once the user has chose that particular location of the video.

So now you can see how the translucent layer comes into effect. The layer allows you to manipulate the cursor over the moving video. Then, the bitmap allows you to pre-program coordinates according to the motion of the video, so that when the cursor interacts with the video, it selects a feed which was already pre-programmed to that location.

Let’s transition now to the code side of things, and this formula that popped in my head while sleeping.

We need additional support from the browsers, although I believe Microsoft and Netscape have new browsers that very close if not there already, in order for this to take place. So let’s talk about how the programming will work with this.

My understanding is that Markup Language does not support goto commands. Which is why html or xhtml exists, it is used to make the two work together. This process will combine xhtml with mrss to make this a reality.

With the evolution of mrss, comes the ability to use numerous multimedia channels for online access to content. These channels are what will allow the seamless transition of video from one user choice to another.

Here is the formula and its legend below.

T1 = Beginning of Video - Original Starting Point of the Feed

A = Cursor (user interface tool)

(X1, Y1, Z1) = Cursor Selection (User Choice) [Also, the Bitmap Coordinate location]

(RST1, RST2, RST3) = MRSS feed

(T2, T3, T4) = New Audio or Video files to be played (most likely MP3 or MP4)

The formula:

T1 is playing

If A= (X1, Y1, Z1, etc.)

Then goto string (RST1, RST2, RST3, etc.)

String RST then plays ( T2,T3,T4)

Car Commercial Example:

T1 = Beginning of Car Commercial

A = Cursor

(X1 )= Wheel

(RST1) = Wheel information feed (mrss)

(T2) = New Video about the Wheels

In order for this model to work, the formula below be implemented in to a Java, J-script, or C++. This code then should be implemented into the Hyper Text which should in theory allow it to function off the XML, which drives it the source of the MRSS.

Here are the key factors in review for this concept to begin its birth:

An interactive translucent interface must be developed. This interface must use pre-synchronization to mirror the movement of the video. Interface must use coordinate location in conjunction with pre-synchronized scripts to trigger user request.

These requests need to be seamless. In order for this to be seamless, better browsers must be developed that use a new type of coding. Maybe Video xhtml, or whatever this topic morphs into. In order to succeed in developing formulas that incorporate the “goto” function of this process, programming must be done on the Hyper-text side of the equation to make the XML work in conjunction with the MRSS.

Now this is my dream, physically adapted to paper and in my own words. This should at least spark the topic of discussion further in our press, and at it most grand effect, spark the minds of programmers and large corporations around the world to make this practically applicable in today’s society.

The Spain, France and the United Kingdom were the only nations partaking in the beginning but lotteries from Belgium, the Republic of Ireland, Luxembourg, Portugal, Switzerland and Austria likewise became engaged on October 04.

The Euromillions lotto or the Euro lotto, as it’s normally renowned, pools the lotto ticket receipts of the 9 partaking Euro countries giving a mammoth Euro Lottery jackpot. With the sum of countries joining the EU on the increase, this will without question will lead to more states participating in the EuroMillions lotto. A growth in the number of people partaking in the Euro Lotto will lead to a continuing increase of the already giant Euro Millions “jackpots”.

Q. How To Play The Euromillions Lotto

Each player has to choose five main numbers from 1 to 50 and 2 Lucky-star numbers from 1 to 9. During the draw, 5 main and 2 lucky-star numbers are then picked out at random from two lotto draw machines containing numbered lotto balls.

Euro Lottery Prizes

The probability of scooping the Euromillions jack-pot is a far-off 1 in seventy six million but the prospect of winning a cash prize is a somewhat decent 1 in twenty-four. When the jackpot is not won in a given lotto draw, it is carried over to the next lottery draw which results in an ever increasing jack-pot value. Recent rules added on the 2007-02-07 limit the amount of successive “roll-overs” to eleven, with the “jackpot” rolled down to smaller prize levels in the eleventh draw when the prize is not collected.

The recent regulations also initiated Euro Lotto “Super Draw” which happen twice annually plus they offer jack-pots in the region of £100 million. The difference with Super Draws is that the jack-pot must be won during the week of the lottery draw; this means, when there is no ticket corresponding, all the drawn numbers then the top prize will be distributed to the lottery ticket bearer(s) on the succeeding winning prize tier.

Loy Krathong Traditions

At the traditional Loy Krathong festival held in Thailand, little lotus shaped boats called Krathongs are launched across the river, usually beautifully decorated and with lighted candles sitting in the middle. At the same time sky lanterns are launched into the sky, so you have this symbolic act of release in the territory of both water and air. They seem to mirror one another. Beautiful. The river and the sky are dotted with little buds of light. The lights on water reflect back into the water and light up the night whilst the Wish Lanterns make the sky luminous and reflect again back onto the rippling surface of the water. Light symbolises hope and life. Another tradition at the Loy Krathong festivals are beauty contests. A strange idea you might think. In some areas of Thailand, this is called the Noppamas Queen contest to honour - you’ve guessed it- Queen Noppamas! This aforementioned queen was a legendary figure in the Sukhothai period, said to be the chief royal consort of a Sukhothai King. The beautiful Krathong is attributed to this woman, but this should not be taken as solid fact. She must have been very beautiful in order that a beauty contest was named after her. Unfortunately I can’t attach any photographic evidence here. You’ll have to use your imagination
