Artist Sananda Maitreya Becomes The First Major Artist To Fully Embrace File Sharing With His Own Br

TrustyFiles-powered P2P software gives Sananda Maitreya the
hardline direct to his fans to share, try, and buy his latest
songs.

DALLAS, USA and MILAN, ITALY, October 6, 2004 - Sananda Maitreya
developed an innovative launch for his “Angels & Vampires”
project that features his own version of TrustyFiles P2P (Peer
to Peer) file sharing software. The campaign includes
distribution of Weed format files over the major P2P networks.
Sananda Maitreya also is exclusively making two new songs and a
video available only through P2P.

“It’s not enough to just create protected files and say ‘here’s
my music, please download’”, said Sananda Maitreya. “We have a
fantastic group of fans. I owe them my success. RazorPop’s P2P
Street Team captures the spirit of fan support and extends it
into file sharing. Their custom TrustyFiles software is perfect
for me to ask my fans to share my music and at the same time
continue to stay close to them.”

Marc Freedman, founder and CEO of RazorPop said “We’ve worked
with Heart and Steve Winwood on previous P2P promotions. The
power of P2P for legitimate music is clear. The Heart campaign
outsold iTunes. When Sananda Maitreya came to us, we decided to
take P2P marketing to the next level.”

“We’ve made TrustyFiles software highly customizable. A popular
feature is the P2P promotions channel. It’s a fixed window on
the software display that gives the artist, distributor, or
marketer a permanent presence to encourage free or protected
file sharing, show the latest promotions, and display breaking
news. 50% of Internet users share music and other files. If
you’re a major artist, shouldn’t your fans and web visitors be
sharing files on software with your name and logo, where you can
directly sell your digital downloads, CDs, DVDs, and other
merchandise?”

Sananda Maitreya’s file sharing software can be downloaded
direct at http://p2pfiles.com/sw/Sananda/SanandaTF.exe (or go
tohttp://www.sanandamaitreya.com/trustyfiles/p2p.html). As part
of the campaign his video “Bella Faccina” and songs “Glad She’s
Gone” and “She knows I’m Leaving” are only available to the file
sharing community.

Sananda Maitreya’s music and video are directly promoted on the
Sananda Maitreya and regular TrustyFiles P2P software. Other P2P
users can find the music and video hosted on business class
servers through searches on all major networks. Web surfers can
download the music at http://www.TopP2P.com. The files are in
Windows Media Player format and can be played on most major
media player software and portable music player devices. The
songs are packaged as Weed files, which allow 3 plays before the
song must be purchased. New Weed users get $5 to buy their first
few songs free.

RazorPop’s P2P distribution partner is Intent Mediaworks, an
online artist marketer. Intent Mediaworks provides comprehensive
P2P file hosting and distribution, including media digitization,
file protection, and distribution to all major P2P networks.

Sananda Maitreya won a Grammy Award in 1989 for best Male R&B
Vocal. His multi-platinum album “Introducing The Hardline
According To” sold over 12 million albums and was the #1
Billboard Chart R&B Album in 1988. His smash single “Wishing
Well” hit the top of the charts in the US and across the world.
Other top songs have included “Sign Your Name”, “If You Let Me
Stay”, “Delicate” with Des’ree, and “Holding On To You”.

RazorPop’s TrustyFiles is the industry’s leading multiple P2P

millions of files from TrustyFiles, Kazaa, Grokster, Morpheus,
Limewire, Bearshare, Shareaza, and other Fast Track, Gnutella,
Gnutella2 and Bit Torrent network users.

TrustyFiles software is designed for the user. It’s easy to use,
free, and has no spyware and no bundled software. TrustyFiles

and most search results. Security features include a blocklist

A Life With Tony

I met Tony when I was around 18 yrs old. It seemed like I had dated these guys for awhile but I guess back then it just seemed longer when you were involved. Tony was the cocky, bad boy type. He made me laugh and he was loud and arrogant. I was in my bad boy stage and he was very appealing to me. I guess I looked at him as if he would be a guy who could take care of me because he didn’t seem to be afraid of anything and at that time I think I needed that.

My story and relationship with Tony is a long one. He was a big part of my life and there are many reasons behind that. Anyhow, my relationship definitely, like the others, helped form the person I am now, but this one was one of the most significant. I dated him for actually a year and then some, maybe even longer. I don’t know the exact dates or the time length. We, when we first met, we were together a lot. He ended up quitting school for whatever reason and I ended up quitting too. I was friends with his sister and we became very close. I was also close with his family and even stayed with them for awhile.

Tony and I were together a lot. I ended up getting pregnant at 18 with his baby of course and we went through that whole thing together and he seemed happy about it and I was for the most part. He was jealous, I was jealous of him and we did fight a good bit, not a lot I guess but what really is too much?? Any is stressful. He tried to be controlling but I think it probably went both ways. I think I put a lot of pressure on him to change and he put pressure on me to accept him and stay with him. I think it was probably 50/50 on that part. I was terrified he would leave especially being pregnant and I think at times he was afraid I would. Our relationship became one of a physically, violent nature. He hardly ever called me names which is weird but the violence between us was horrible.

I ended up having trouble with the pregnancy and went to the ER after tests were run the Dr. came in and told me the baby had died and the reason wasn’t clear. I was to go in to have more tests and to get pills to help with aborting the fetus that following Monday, but ended up having the baby in the Dr.’s office that Monday. I was in bad shape and he asked me that evening out of desperation I believe to marry him, go away with him, but that never happened and there was reasons for that. I know that now. We still fought, stayed together but fought.

I got pregnant again, and lost it too. We continued to fight. Then he began to cheat and it was just down hill from there. I then finally moved on when I met someone else and that was what it took to get away because I couldn’t have done it on my own at that point. The bond was there and it was strong and we had been through so much I needed a push to let go and I finally got that. Tony is now involved in a serious relationship with a nice lady. I believe he is happy. He told one of my friends to tell me he was sorry for all that happened, hoped I didn’t hate him, and hoped I was happy, and I am. And I hope he is too. We shared a lot between us, good and bad times and they all were a contribution to my life in love and loss, and I know it was all apart of God’s plan for me believe that or not. And I wish him tons of happiness, and peace, and love throughout his life now and always. God bless you and yours!

Luxury Tourism in New Zealand

Filed under:Internet Travel Resources — posted on @ 12:09 pm

Tourism in New Zealand is changing its focus. Backpacking and bungy jumping are still popular but a more affluent traveller is now visiting. And more often.

Are you a member of this new profile? Are you an Interactive Traveller®?

Or do you cater to them?

Who is an Interactive Traveller®?

“Interactive Travellers® are regular international travellers who consume a wide range of tourism products and services. They are travellers who seek out new experiences that involve engagement and interaction, and they demonstrate respect for natural, social and cultural environments.”
Tourism New Zealand

Tourism New Zealand has made good use of the information that you give when you fill in all those forms “for statistical purposes only”.

There is a new group of tourists coming to New Zealand in increasing numbers. They come from a range of countries around the world and are more likely to fall into one of two age groups: 25-34 years of age or 50-64 years.

As a member of the younger group, you probably haven’t yet had children, while those of you in the older age group are likely to be ‘empty nesters’ (your children have left home) or travelling with teenagers (who need their own space).

Regardless of age, you are more likely to have discretionary income available to spend on travel. So luxury travel is an obvious choice.

Do you see yourself fitting in here? Regardless of age-group?

In addition to these two more general aspects, as an Interactive Traveller® you are more likely to:

Read newspapers and magazines. You make a point of staying informed, following business news, current affairs and travel publications.

Research travel destinations thoroughly. You like to know about where you’re going and what you can do when you get there. You research destinations using the internet, guide books, word of mouth and travel agents. But you also like to leave room for spontaneity…

Go to the cinema, theatre, galleries and museums. You pursue culture at home and when you’re away on holiday. You appreciate both contemporary and historical cultural experiences.

Be high users of technology. Interactive Travellers® have fully embraced computers, the internet, digital cameras, pay TV and other forms of lifestyle information technology.

Aim to be healthy. You are more likely to exercise regularly and eat healthy foods. Some of you also prefer organic foods.

Entertain at home. You enjoy cooking and socialising with friends at all times of the year. Travel is a likely topic of conversation.

Have liberal attitudes. Interactive Travellers® have open minds. You’re tolerant of beliefs that don’t match your own, and you’re prepared to listen to new ideas.

Take risks. Challenging situations, both mental and physical, appeal. You enjoy the sense of accomplishment that comes with doing something you haven’t done before. Yes, you can still bungy-jump should you wish.

Have a high disposable income. Interactive Travellers® have enough money to travel regularly and purchase high-value travel experiences. You’re also willing to pay more for experiences that are authentic or exclusive.

Enjoy fine cuisine and wine. Food and wine adds essential flavour to travel, as far as the Interactive Traveller® is concerned. You expect hospitality of an international standard, but you also want to try authentic local delicacies and cooking styles.

Have influence in your peer group. Most importantly, you share travel stories, both at home and while you’re travelling. You follow word-of-mouth recommendations from people you respect, and you are a dependable source, sharing your own travel experiences.

Importantly, Tourism New Zealand determined that, “while Interactive Travellers® enjoy these things, they are not primary motivations for travel to New Zealand.”

So why visit?

Your key reason to visit New Zealand is to interact with the landscape. Landscapes you can taste…

Do-Sa-Do: Square Dancing and Mindfulness

Filed under:Hall Of Medical Resources — posted on @ 11:50 am

When I was 12, one of my best friends was a square dancer. Twice a week, her family would pile into the Country Squire station wagon and head to the Grange Hall, where they’d gather with their square dancing club for an evening of music, friendship and do-sa-do.

As a regular guest, I was fascinated by the form but, in the height of my coolness-conscious years, also acutely aware of the overwhelming dork factor. These people lived to square dance.

They skipped around for two or three hours at a time, twirling and smiling and dabbing at their foreheads between dances. They hunted for holiday-themed fabric months before special dances in order to whip up the perfect ruffled dress and matching shirt for each occasion. They packed their petticoats and headed to Penticton, British Columbia every summer for a regional square dancers’ convergence.

The square dance girls were just as boy-crazy as my regular friends, but they had a built-in way to hold hands with the guys they liked. As for me, I had a major crush on my friend’s older brother who, at 15, was an articulate, ambitious student body president with piercing blue eyes and blond hair to his shoulders (it was 1972, after all).

In one of our (for me, anyway) excruciating conversations involving much blushing, he told me that square dancing was like meditation. “It’s a way to forget about everything except what’s going on right now. You have to pay attention to what the caller says, and let your mind and body make sense of it naturally, without trying too hard.”

At the time, I had only a fleeting familiarity with meditation, and I didn’t see much similarity between these suburban, gingham-clad dancers and the Hare Krishnas who offered carnations to passersby on downtown street corners.

Years later, I have to marvel at his insight.

Square dancing IS like meditation. There’s no focusing on memories of the past or worries about the future. Instead, a square dancer must remain in a state of acceptance and anticipation. The caller will determine the next move, and no amount of second-guessing or outsmarting will help you become more effective–or more popular.

As a square dancer, you’re surrounded by other dancers but not really attached to a particular one–your matching outfits notwithstanding– because you are constantly moving among the others. Your attention is directed toward whatever comes up–in this case, the caller’s command and your subsequent focus on that engagement, however brief.

There’s a continuous current of possibilities, and your state is that of relaxed readiness without any judgment. Other than the moment your crush happens to be holding your hand, there is no partner or move that is better than any other.

The beauty is in the flow of it all and the awareness of being fully there.

For the square dancers, their Wednesday-and-Saturday-night gatherings provided fellowship, fitness and an opportunity to really let go. Despite the hopelessly unhip pointy white shoes and the Hee-Haw setting, the dancers had discovered a way to make mindfulness, well, FUN if not exactly cool.

Perhaps it never crossed their minds that they were engaging in anything but entertaining exercise. But if a 15-year-old boy–cute or not–could see it, I’m guessing that others recognized the sense of connection they gained in an evening of fully-present partner swinging.

We tend to think of mindfulness as something to be experienced only through meditation. WRONG. Mindfulness involves us 100% in the present moment, but we don’t need a cushion, maple bench, or incense to get there.

In our mindful moments, we are at our finest and most human–open, forgiving, focused, compassionate and connected. Sitting, standing, or swinging your partner, that’s a good place to be.

Yee-haw!

Affiliate Marketing Can Earn You Huge Profits

Looking for a way to pad your bottom line? Affiliate marketing
is a great resource for either web site developers or merchants.
Web site developers can make extra income on their web sites and
merchants can sell their products or services with the help of
many marketers. If you are new to affiliate marketing, here are
some great tips on using affiliate marketing.

Affiliate marketing is super simple. Open an account on the many
affiliate marketing sites such as Amazon, Clickbank, Commission
Junction and Paydotcom. Within these sites you can easily find
products from vendors that you want to sell. Most of these
products pay extremely high commission. For instance, on
Clickbank, you can find products that pay at least 50%. For
products on Amazon, expect 5 to 10%.

Once you sign up and choose your products, you can easily copy
and paste the affiliate vendor’s product code onto your web
site. When a person visits your site and is interested in
purchasing an affiliate product, they are passed onto the
affiliate marketing site to make that purchase. You
automatically get a good commission for finding the customer.

For merchants that have products to sell, you can easily reach
thousands of customers each day by offering high commissions to
affiliate marketers. The higher the commission or more popular
the product the higher the chance web developers will place your
product on their web sites to sell. So if you want to make a
healthy profit either with a web site or a product, look into
affiliate marketing.

The Truth About Hair Loss

It is normal to shed hair every day and the truth is we loose between 100-125 hairs on any given day. Hair that is shed falls out at the end of growth cycle. At any given time 10% of our hair is in what is called a “resting phase” and after 2-3 months resting, hair falls out and new hair grows in its place. Some people, however, experience more hair loss than is normal.

As we get older, both men and women experience some hair loss. It’s a normal part of the aging process. Called Androgenetic Alopecia, it accounts for 95% of all hair loss. Androgentic Alopecia often runs in families and affects some people more than others. In men it is often referred to as Male Pattern Baldness. It is characterized by a receding hair line and baldness on the top of head. Women, on the other hand, don’t go entirely bald even if their hair loss is severe. Instead, hair loss is spread out evenly over their entire scalp.

Hormones play the dominant role when talking about Androgenetic Alopecia. Simple put, both men and women produce testosterone. Testosterone can be converted to dihydrotestosterone (DHT) with the aid of the enzyme 5-alpha-reductase. DHT shrinks hair follicles causing the membranes in the scalp to thicken, become inelastic and restrict blood flow. This causes the hair follicles to atrophy. As a result, when a hair does fall out, it is not replaced.

Needless to say, men produce more testosterone than women and experience more hair loss.

While Androgenetic Alopecia is the number one reason why individuals experience hair loss, it is not the only one. Medical conditions such as hypothyroidism, ringworm and fungal infections can cause hair loss. Certain medications such as blood thinners, gout medication, birth control pills and too much vitamin A can cause sudden or abnormal hair loss as can following a crash diet, sudden hormonal changes, chemotherapy and radiation.

Emotional stress, pregnancy, or surgery can also cause our hair to fall out and is usually not noticed until 3-4 months after the stressful event has taken place. Stress can cause a slowing of new hair growth because a larger number of hair follicles enter into the resting phase and no new hair growth is experienced.

Another way in which individuals experience hair loss is due to mechanical stressors on the hair and scalp. Wearing pigtails, cornrows or tight rollers that end up pull on the hair can scar the scalp and cause permanent hair loss. Hair products such as hot oil treatments and chemicals used for permanents can cause inflammation to the hair follicles which can also result in scarring and hair loss.

Note: Hair loss may be the early warning sign of a more serious disorder such as lupus or diabetes, so it is important to talk to your doctor.

Recommendations For Wellness

If you are taking prescription medications, talk to your doctor and find out if your medication is contributing to your hair loss.

Avoid mega-doses of vitamin A. Too much vitamin A can cause your hair to fall out.

Exercise, do yoga, meditate or find some other practice that will help to reduce your anxiety and stress levels.

If you are a women, have your female hormones tested. If they are imbalanced, talk to your health care provider about bio-identical hormone replacements.

If you wear pigtails, cornrows, use a curling iron, hair dryer or hot rollers, try changing your hair style to one that puts less pressure and stress on your hair and scalp.

If hot oil treatments or chemicals such as those used in permanents are causing inflammation to the scalp, discontinue their use, or reduce the number of times you are using them.

Use gentle shampoos and conditioners to avoid any unnecessary damage to your hair.

In men, herbs such as saw palmetto and licorice root help block the formation of DHT. The same holds true for supplementation with zinc. As an added benefit, studies show that these supplements can also help prevent prostate enlargement.

Massage your scalp with rosemary oil in an olive oil base. Both rosemary oil and massaging the scalp can stimulate the circulation in the scalp and promote hair growth.

Again, if you are experiencing hair loss, check with your doctor to ensure that a more serious disorder isn’t the cause.

Secured Debt Consolidation Loans: Help you Usher a New Debt Free Life

Filed under:Web Of Loans — posted on @ 4:27 am

It is never a pleasant experience when you have to deal with furious creditors pounding on your door for money. So what do you do when a whole bunch of angry creditors are breathing down your neck and threatening you with dire consequences? Do you hide under the bed or jump out of the bathroom window?

It may work a couple of times but how long will you evade the situation at hand. Remember, a problem is only as big as you make it. So, the first thing that you need to do is to accept the fact that you have a problem and that you need to solve it. Then comes taking some vital steps to address this debt problem.

Debt problems are not a new scenario. There are a lot of people who find themselves caught in the debt trap. To help people out of such situations, various debt management solutions were propounded. Out of these solutions, one of the most viable and the most successful solution is that of borrowing a loan as means of consolidating all your debts.

Such a loan is commonly called a debt consolidation loan. Debt consolidation loan like personal loans can also be secured as well as unsecured. A secured debt consolidation is considered the cheapest way out of the debt swamp.

To avail a secured debt consolidation loan you have to offer your home as security to the lender. This means that your lender will have a legal claim on your property until you pay back the loan. However, you can keep living in the same home and your lender will not exercise his ownership rights on your home until you fail to pay back the loan.

A secured debt consolidation loan works in a very simple way by combining all your loans into one single loan. Negotiations are done with your creditors on your behalf and a low rate loan is compounded that will pay off all your debts. Now, you have to worry about paying only a single monthly installment and also deal with one creditor only.

So, why wait! Get a secured debt consolidation loan and do some damage control of your finances.

Mail Orders Success Guide

MONEY-MAKERS’ GUIDE TO EASY MAIL ORDER RICHES

Selling products and/or services through the mail is one of the
fastest growing methods of doing business in the world today.
It’s estimated that sales for 2005 will top the 100 billion
dollar mark!

Millions of people from all walks of life, and in all parts of
the world are “into” mail order, with more coming in every day.
Some of them are grossing in the millions, others are chalking
up sales figures of several hundred per month, and there are
others who only give it a quick try, make a few dollars and drop
out.

Mail order selling appeals to almost everybody with a desire to
get rich. Generally, it doesn’t require complicated equipment,
a lot of start-up capital, or an expensive office. Mail order
is a kind of business that can be run by anyone from the
comfort of his or her own home.

About all that’s required for success in mail order selling is
an understanding of what you’re doing - it’s not a game or a
kind of thing you want to just give a quick try. It’s a way of
doing business, and requires a good understanding of what people
buy, why the buy, and an operational plan that will lead you to
success.

In order to make it big in mail order, you must understand that
it’s a selling business. Thus, you’ve got to decide on what you
want to sell - who your buyers will be - and know why they buy
and the, program your selling efforts in such a way that these
people will buy from you.

The best, and the easiest selling product or service - because
it has the greatest appeal to the most number of people - is
information that gives people knowledge or instructions that
will enable then to get rich. The bottom line is simply that
everybody in the world wants to know how they can get rich -
without putting forth too much of an investment in either money,
time or effort.

So, the first thing that you should do is some marketing
research: Look in all the publications running mail order
advertisements and opportunities - get a good understanding of
why they are doing - how they are doing ti - and then formulate
a business plan of your own that will allow you to duplicate
what they’re doing.

With get rich information or instructions - and knowing that to
make the really big money you have to be the author or a prime
distributor - there are two ways to go. You can become the
author with all the involved headaches and demands upon your
time, or you can buy the reproduction rights and re-sell or
distribute them as your own.

As the author, you’ll have to do the research, the writing, the
printing, advertising, and order fulfillment.

As a prime source distributor, you can pay a one-time fee for
the reproduction rights - then spend your time and money on
selling efforts. You still have to handle the printing, the
advertising, and order fulfillments - but you have the advantage
of -choosing and picking” only what you feel will make money for
you. With most writers, only about 10% of what they spend hours,
weeks, even months researching and writing, ever sells for them.
Writers are just not geared to the profitable marketing or their
materials.

Your initial marketing research should give you a good idea of
what is selling - what the people are buying - and which titles
of any particular author you want to promote, and sell for your
own profits.

The next thing is to look through all the publications you can
find that carry mail order ads - those that run issue after
issue (but not those run as fillers by the publisher) are
usually the ones that are making money for the people selling
them (or you can bet they wouldn’t keep running them)!

Decide which kind of program you want to run, and how you want
to make money. The best ad to run is one that offers a free
report relative to a money making plan. Your ad might read: FREE
REPORT! Insider’s Secrets To Your Own Million Dollar Multi-Level
Empire. Send SASE to (your name and address).

In reply to each of the responses you get to this ad, you send
them a one page report that briefly explains your multi-level
secrets, with an invitation at the bottom for those really
interested in multi-level marketing, to send in another $15 or
$20 for your complete multi-level marketing “how-to” manual. You
can then fill up their SASE with other offers, such as the
availability of mailing lists for rent, a multi-level program
of your own, and a listing of other business success reports
you’re offering.

At the same time, you compile the names and addresses of all the
people sending for either your free report of their own
materials, and you have the beginnings of a mailing list of your
own that you can rent out over and over again at huge profits to
yourself.Clip the stamps off the envelopes as you receive them,
and save them in an old shoe box. When you have a box full, you
can sell them to any number of stamp collectors, and pocket an
easy $10 or $15.

Save all the envelopes with return address, and when you’ve
accumulated a thousand or two of these, you can send them in to
list compilers and pocket another $50 to $100.

The other way of advertising is the offering of your report or
book for sale from the ad. Such an ad would read about like
this: Insider’s Secrets To Your Own Million Dollar Multi-Level
Empire. Dynamic new report shows the easy way. Send $3 to (your
name address).

It’s very difficult to sell anything directly from a classified
ad because there just isn’t space enough in which to do a
complete job of selling. Thus, if you do try to sell from a
classified ad, be sure to keep your selling price under $5.

A $3 item should pull well with a classified ad - A $5 item
will take a least a one inch display ad - A $20 item will take a
well written full page ad, and anything more than $40 will
require a professionally written sales letter.

When you’re just getting started in mail order selling, stick to
small classified ads - test the pulling power of your ad, and
your product, as well as the publication you ad runs in.

Analyze and practice rewriting some of the ads other people are
running - experiment, and run a few ads in only one or two
publications - and then build upon your success. In other words,
if your first ad costs you $30, and you take in $90 - take that
$90 and run the same ad again, not only in the same publication,
but in a couple of other publications as well. Use your profits
to expand the exposure of your offer - let as many people as
possible see it.

It’s important to note that you cannot expect to “live off” the
income from your beginning business efforts. You have to have
“other” money to pay your lights, water, and gas bills.

Mail order success is built upon the wise investment of your
advertising dollars. Take $100 and run a classified ad for your
reports in one of the big national publications. Figuring that
from that first $100, you take in $300, run the same ad again in
that publication, and at the same time in two other
publications. Thus, your real profits should triple - and if you
keep on reinvesting your profits in additional advertising
exposure - conceivably within six months or less you should be
hauling in several thousand dollars per month in profits.
