Closet Organizers - Bringing Order To Messy Closets!

Filed under:Home Improvement Center — posted on @ 8:25 pm

Closet organizers are cleverly designed to optimize the use of the space available, and can work wonders at transforming a cluttered closet into a neat and tidy storage place. We all know how annoying it is to have an a closet crammed full of old clothes and to never be able to find what we’re looking for. Or when we do find that favorite dress, all too often it’s lying in a crumpled heap at the bottom of the closet. A built in closet organizer can change all that, providing a dedicated storage place for different types of clothing and shoes.

Bedroom closet organizers can be installed in both walk in and reach in closets, and can be custom made to meet your particular requirements. Most closet organizer systems come with a variety of adjustable features, such as shelving and hanging rods, which can be fitted to best meet your storage needs. For instance, two short hanging rods one above the other, can be perfect for shorter items of clothing like shirts and folded pants. Wood shelves or wire racks can be useful for smaller items. Hooks are handy for ties and belts. And there are all kinds of options for shoes, from cubby holes to door hanging racks or organizer boxes.

If you’re feeling inspired to tackle your messy closet and have a good clear out of all that clutter, then installing a fitted closet organizer or even just adding the separate components that you need most, can be very worthwhile. Once you’ve got your closet organizer system in place and arranged all your things in the appropriate storage compartments, it should be much easier to stay organized and not succumb to the clutter in the future!

How to Dominate Google Adwords from Day 1

Filed under:Great Marketing Tips — posted on @ 12:24 pm

Whether you’re promoting an affiliate program or your own product, using pay per click traffic is almost necessary.

Wait, let me re-phrase that - pay per click traffic is almost necessary to TEST. Let’s be frank, this form of traffic does NOT work for all niches and businesses.

Also, succeeding with pay per click traffic is not as easy as just putting up an ad and sending traffic to your main site.

There are lots of elements involved such as your ad, your competition, the landing page, and how much you’re paying.

Obviously, to discuss all these elements, we’d need to write a book - however, this particular article is going to make you an expert on how to pay less than all your competition and out rank them at the same time.

Google has a unique system of ranking their ads that allows you to be on the top even if you’re paying the least per click.

How?

Just make sure you have the highest click-through rate on your ad…

There are two main things you need to do to make sure you can get to the top while paying the least.

1. Have a killer start - don’t be cheap, spend the most in the beginning.

2. Consistently test your ads to improve your click through rate.

#1 - Killer Start

One of the biggest mistakes people make when they launch a PPC campaign is that they get cheap in the beginning and try to start slow.

That’s all wrong.

You need to spend the most in the beginning. Go in with a bang…here are two reasons why.

1. If the strategy just isn’t going to work, find out early and get out - don’t waste precious time.

2. More importantly, spend the most on PER click in the beginning. Why?

If you spend the most on “per click” in the beginning, that’s the only way you can convince Google to put you on the top. You have no click through record, so you have to make up for that by spending more.

By spending the most in the beginning, you’ll get your ad on the front page and get quick exposure.

This way you’ll quickly build up your click-through record and can immediately start decreasing your “cost per click” without losing your spot.

Now, if you had started with a low cost per click, you’d end up on some page far down, never really get any exposure and could potentially take weeks/months

before you build up any kind of click through rate.

So, first lesson, start fast - go in with a higher “per-click” budget. Get in strong and you’ll see the best results.

#2 - Test, Test!

The next best way to increase your ad rankings and decrease your “per-click” costs is to always test new ads.

Google allows you to run two ads at the same time for the same keywords, they will automatically rotate your ads, one after the other.

This way you can slowly tweak the headlines, the ad, the domain name - everything and find what works best.

Always do this and you’ll slowly see your click through rates increase - as your click through rises, you can decrease your “cost per click” without losing your spot in the ad.

So, bottom line, even if you’re in a niche with a lot of competition - you can still dominate.

Go in strong, try to get your ad some quick exposure to build a clickthrough rate fast. Then, quickly start decreasing your per click costs.

Just a quick word of caution, if you use this strategy, make sure to actively monitor your adwords account. ALSO, make sure you set your daily limit to something you can afford losing.

You’d be surprised how quickly Google can eat up your mo*ney!

Alright, now you’re equipped with some advanced tips on how to quickly take over a niche in Google.

Eating Close to Nature

Filed under:World Of Nutrition — posted on @ 9:29 am

Recent findings have concluded that a majority of our illnesses; mental and physical, can be traced back to the way we eat. In two words: “Junk Food”.
Most people know this. So why do we do it to ourselves?
Do we all have a long a painful death wish? Why?

I believe in a majority of cases this has to do with exposure to these foods throughout our lifetimes. They become habit. A habit that seems to be the most difficult to break as we have to eat, and they do seem most convenient in our fast paced world.

We are living in a “throw away society” where our values seem to be forgotten. The best foods for our bodies are vegetables and fruits. How easy is that? They come without fancy expensive wrapping, they are environmentally friendly, people are not dying from consuming them over a course of years, and at the end of the week, they don’t leave piles of garbage and recycling at the end of your driveway.

However it is easier to drive up to a window and mindlessly stuff a fried burger down your cake hole, and drive away with no thought or dishes to clean up.

Our bodies seemingly take on the role of garbage can, all because of convenience and the constant media push.

Very similar to drugs or alcohol, Junk Food becomes habitual. The solution sounds easy enough “eat close to nature”. You need five to ten servings each day of fruits and vegetables. It takes a little bit of time to prepare your own meals but once you get used to it, you start turning your nose down to all those packaged foods. Once you get back to a natural way of eating, then you can start to be picky about organic foods including meats.
Here is a very easy recipe for a healthy meal.

Enjoy!

Chef’s Veggie Burger

1 cup mushrooms and onions

1/2 cup corn and peas

1/2 cup diced peppers

1 cup cooked wild rice

1 cup cooked brown long grain rice

whole wheat bread crumbs

4 eggs; egg beater equivalent

cornstarch

pepper

garlic

olive oil

Saute vegetable and rice together and season to taste. Brown, then place in bowl.
Add liquid egg and mix thoroughly.
Dust with bread crumbs and cornstarch until a very thick burger like consistency.
Season with pepper and garlic to taste. If you like fresh herbs, you can add them too.
Form into patties about 1/2″ thick and grill or pan fry them (with little oil in the pan) in a nonstick pan.
Add tomatoes, lettuce, onions and whatever other condiments you like.

7 Ways to Promote Your Website Locally

Now that you’ve built your new website you can
sit back and let it do all the work, right? Well no. Unlike in “Field of
Dreams” if you build it, they won’t necessarily come, at least not until you
ask them to! That’s where web site promotion comes in. Web site promotion
provides that vital link between that great site you’ve built (or had built)
and everyone that you want to come see it!

Often new site owners either don’t know that they
need to promote their new site or they follow the trend of only promoting their
site on the search engines like Google and MSN. While it is always important to
get your site listed with all the major search engines (and most of the smaller
ones), you might be overlooking a vital part of promoting your site, promoting
your web site locally.

A small business will often it’s
website to provide a “Showroom” for their products, information about their
business, and directions to help potential customers find their
business. Their main goal often is to attract customers locally or from
nearby towns and cities, so some additional strategy is useful in promoting
their site.

Local website
promotion checklist

1. Local Newspaper: Many local papers have a section to introduce your business to
the area. Write a small article about your business and submit it to the
newspaper.

2.Press Releases: This is a formal release about your business. There are many
places on the Internet that will publish press releases for free. This can be a
good way to be sure your business can be found on the Internet. Often local
papers will also run these releases.

3.Niche Marketing: For local businesses, be sure your keywords (both in your
content and in the Meta Tags) include local cities and towns. When some one
types in “Used cars” in the search box it will return thousands of results.
When they narrow it down to “Used cars ‘YourTown’”, you want your web site to
be high in the listings.

4.Email Signature: Most email programs
allow you to add a signature to the bottom, include your web site address. This
allows you to tell a little about your business and maybe announce a special
your company is having. Keep these short and to the point.

5.Business Cards: Be sure your web site URL is on all paper correspondence and on your
business cards.

6.Phone book: When you put your listing in the phone book for a little extra you
can add your website URL, which may also be added to the yellow page phone
directory. Google keeps a yellow page directory based on phone number listings,
in time your business and URL will be listed there.

7.Be Creative: The more often someone sees your web site URL the more likely
they will remember it when they need your product. Find ways to display your
web site URL in your store and any other place the public may see it.

Want To Buy an Inkjet Cartridge? Read This for Tips

Filed under:World Of Technology — posted on @ 12:10 pm

Since computersPCs, laptops and notebooks–have now pervaded the entire ambit of our lives, maintaining all its attachments has also become very important. A printer is one of the most useful attachments as it is constantly utilized by the computer users. However, buying inkjet cartridges for your printer can be a daunting task. You really have to know how to choose the best inkjet cartridge so that you are not confused by the various choices.

Some people get stressed when the ink in their printer cartridge show signs of getting over but there is no need to fret over such issues. When you go to the market to buy an ink cartridge you should not get lured by low priced products or by any bargain deals which promise a lot of savings. In all probability such low-priced cartridges would be faulty and would harm your printer. You will spend much more in repair costs than what you would save.

The first step in selecting the best inkjet cartridge is to check the existing cartridge in your printer and then try to buy a cartridge of similar specifications. If you are unable to get the same type of cartridge in the market you should take the help of the following tips:

• The ink of generic cartridges can be harmful to your printer’s nozzles. So you should avoid using such cartridges.

• If you need the best quality of printing you should use the ink cartridges made by the same manufacturer as the printer. No doubt, these will be most expensive.

• The warranties of some printer manufacturers are not valid if ink cartridges made by a different manufacturer are used.

• It is advisable to check the page yield of the cartridge that you plan to buy.

The precautions needed to increase the life of the cartridge are: the cartridge should never be allowed to dry up fully as this will damage the printer to the extent that it will not be able to print even with a new cartridge, if one cartridge is out the other one should not be run to avoid damage to the jets and the cartridge should be shaken from side to side to utilize the balance amount of ink.

Now the question is from where can you buy the inkjet cartridges?

Buying online is the best place as it is time saving and less expensive. If you do not have the time to keep running to the store, spending time in buying and then returning back, you can save time by ordering online and the cartridge will be delivered to your home or office.

Moreover, if you buy at a store, the ink cartridge will be much more expensive than if you order online as the online vendors offer substantial discounts. Almost any type of ink cartridge can be bought online and that too at a discount.

If you buy refilled or recycled ink cartridges either from a store or from a website, you might save some money but the damage to your printer will prove costlier to repair. As such you should buy only genuine brands and that, too, from a supplier or website that gives a guarantee.

You might be able to save about sixty percent of the cost of an original ink cartridge if you buy a recycled or refilled cartridge but if you need good quality printing it is best to stick to the same company that made the printer that you are using.

If you follow the above tips, you will be able to choose the best cartridge from among the plethora of cartridges available in the market.

The Secret Health Benefits Of A Good Nature Poster

Filed under:House Of Self Improvement — posted on @ 8:28 am

Do we really need another nature poster in our life? It’s
likely. While a fortunate few of us do have an office or studio
in a natural setting, the fact is, most of us work in an
environment that’s not always ‘natural’.

Yet, I believe that’s what a lot of us are aiming for. Somewhere
in our dreams of how we see our life unfolding, we hold pictures
of us in nature or in a natural environment. This might be a
home farm, studio in the hills, or even an indoor garden,
anywhere where we can get that necessary ‘direct contact’ with
nature.

More and more, research is pointing to the value of ‘direct
contact’ with nature, informing us that it leads to ‘increased
mental health and psychological development’ and explains why
city-dwellers have such an attraction for nature.

Cities do have their place. And yet, when we get out of the city
we start to appreciate nature even more. Nature allows us to
free up our senses more, reduce stress, relax and enjoy the
tranquility of it all.

“Research… shows that a window view of nature (rather than a
built environment)… improves work performance in job settings,
and increases job satisfaction. (This may also help explain the
predominance of posters and picture calendars with nature scenes
on walls of windowless office cubicles.)” - John V Davis

So there you have it. And of course, a nature poster is often
very beautiful to look at, so that’s a positive aspect. We can’t
all be hanging out in national parks or on Antartic ice caps or
on the top of Mount Kilamanjaro. There’s too many of us. For
most of us, the concept of doing such a thing is way too big
anyway.

So next best is to get a visual picture of what we know exists,
what we often find to be profound and truly amazing. Viewing a
nature poster bring us back to a humble, awe like state where
often we can grasp an appreciation for just how magnificent and
incredible we are, and nature is. In fact, it’s one and the
same, but that’s another story :-)
“Nature experiences increase fascination, intrinsic interest,
and enjoyment. The wilderness inspires feelings of awe and
wonder… individuals feel better acquainted with their own
thoughts and feelings, and they feel ‘different’ in some way –
calmer, at peace with themselves, ‘more beautiful on the inside
and unstifled.’ ” - John V Davis

So where were we? Ah that’s right, nature posters. For a moment
then, I was completely zoned out in some beautiful, misty zen
Japanese garden! ‘You can’t get too much of this stuff.’
Obviously we all need it, and it’s a part of us. A nature poster
gives us the ability to connect, to go there, to travel to a
place of wonder and beauty…

I know, it’s just a poster. But surely if it moves us in some
way, be it just briefly, it can motivate us to move towards our
dreams and realization of our goals. A nature poster is
certainly inspiring. How many times have you heard yourself
saying ‘wow I want to do that’ or ‘I want to go there?’

And you can, if you really want to! And just think - we see in
pictures. So by looking at a nature poster can you imagine…
see yourself in a similar environment, doing something you’ve
always wanted to do? Or moving further towards a huge goal or
project that makes you uncomfortable just thinking about its
potential!?

Or of course - just enjoy the sheer pleasure of the moment!

Have fun. And when you come back, let me know!

Thetan on Your Back?

It is a surprise to me that in an advanced country like Russia this extreme case of Thetan overload was not recognized sooner.

Here is a link to the complete story - http://mosnews.com/news/2006/01/16/brother.shtml - copy and paste into your browser to read the whole article.

Unsaid in the article is the fact that the “host” had claimed that he was abducted by a UFO in 1996.

Beware the Dreaded Theet O Vac!

He had also contacted L Ron Hubbard’s famous Thetan removal company, the scientology “church”. They had told him that he could be treated but it would mean sending a ‘Top Gun’ to Russia and cost in the neighborhood of 300 to 350,000 USD. He was told that the ‘Top Gun’ was busy with a war movie and could not come for 6 months.

Igor decided to contribute to the Theet fund and get the plans for a Theet O Meter. He assembled the meter in his kitchen and soon discovered that he was loaded.

Beware the Dreaded Theet O Vac!

Once Thetans have internalized the fastest way to begin to be ‘clear’ is to cut them out. The souls had become clumped and are beginning to form a new organism. This is the most dangerous kind of Thetan infection. Once the new organism is complete it kills the Host and will begin a new life. It assumes the Host identity and starts its campaign to rule mankind.

History shows us what this can do. Adolph Hitler was infected and look what happened!

Cases like Igor cannot be helped with the Theet O Vac alone. After surgery the ‘Vac is used along with the ‘Meter to ensure that there is no re-infection. The initial removal work must be done in a hospital by a surgeon who can recognize the alien material and carve is out like the cancer it is.

Get your Theet O Meter plans today and prevent this from happening to you and your family.

When to Use High Heat on Your Barbeque

While some people really seem to have a knack for barbequing - always grilling up a perfect meal - for the rest of us, it is something that must be learned, not something that just comes naturally. Believe it or not, there is technique involved. It’s not just a matter of following your cooking instincts.

One of the main secrets of knowing exactly how to make a beautiful, tasty meal every time is knowing how and when to use high heat or very hot coals.

Though you may have heard the term “seal in the juices” when it came to barbequing, you may even have tried some techniques every now and then, but unless you’re doing it properly, you won’t be getting it right. For the best results, many barbeque chefs cook vegetables and medium-rare steaks by first using a high heat in order to sear the outside of the food and seal both the juices and the flavors inside.

Though this technique is good for foods that you don’t want to cook thoroughly, it shouldn’t be overused. If you’re cooking a meat such as hamburgers or pork ribs, they must be cooked all the way through in order to avoid bacterial contamination. Therefore, searing them to seal in the juices doesn’t do anything but give you dry, or charred food.

This can be explained by understanding the way that meat cooks on a barbeque. As it is heated, the cells and the fibers of the meat will tighten, squeezing out much of the juices. Therefore, if you’re only cooking a meat partially, searing it will help to seal in the juices by quickly cooking the outer layers of the food. However, if you should leave the food on this high heat, the inner layers will cook too quickly, vaporizing all of your precious and tasty juices. Try the technique a few times until you get it right. Pay attention to what you’re doing, so that when you do accomplish the right technique, you know how to repeat it.

When you are using high heat, the rule of thumb is to cook on each side for a maximum of five minutes (a total of ten minutes). After ten minutes, anything that you’re cooking should be moved aside to a medium heat so that it can finish cooking at that lower temperature.

There are many ways to recognize how hot your fire really is, to make sure that it’s always perfect for any kind of food that you’re cooking on your barbeque. One of the most common tests is simply to hold your hand a couple of inches away from the grill. If you’re only able to keep it there for about a second, your grill is at a high heat (that is, over 600F). If you’re able to hold your hand there fore a few seconds, it’s at a medium heat (around 400F). At a lower heat, you’ll be able to hold your hand there for over five seconds.

Remember, when it comes to high heat, practice makes perfect, and the perfect is well worth the practice!

7 Ways to Turn Readers Into Friends

Filed under:Living With Publishers — posted on @ 1:47 am

Back in my school days, if the teacher demanded a term paper I knew just what to do. I quickly researched the report, and wrote it as fast as I could.

Next, I reached for a thesaurus and looked up complicated, multi-syllable synonyms for my easy words. This turned my paper into a complex, obtuse mess.

That was wrong, wrong, wrong! Once I started to write for a living, I quickly discovered that if readers don’t understand something, they simply quit reading!

So how can you make your writing less formal, more personal, and turn readers into interested friends? Here are some ideas I’ve stumbled across:

1. Think about a specific reader when you write. I usually picture a family member. This tends to make my writing less formal.

2. Ask a question. Example: “Do you ever get bored reading a long, complicated report?”

3. Propose a solution. Example: “Here’s a way to alleviate afternoon boredom.”

4. Present new evidence: Example: “My brother - a historian - claims he’s discovered three new traits about medieval knights.”

5. Offer free advice. Example: “I’ve found a new way to write research papers.”

6. Share a shortcut. Example: “Here’s a timesaving method to exercise better and more efficiently.”

7. Tell how or why you started a project. Example: “I started this company with one goal: to help people find the job best suited for them.”
