Reachout Throughout - RSS

RSS has been around for more than a decade but until recently “Rss Technology” started penetrating its roots deep inside the soil of the so-called E-world.

Using this standard, web publishers provide updates, such as the latest news headlines, special announcements, press releases or weblog postings through their RSS content

Really Simple Syndication (RSS) is a lightweight XML vocabulary for describing metadata about web sites, ideal for news syndication. Originated by userland software in 1997 and used by Netscape to populate Netscape’s My Netscape portal with external newsfeeds (”channels”) RSS has taken on a life of its own and has become perhaps the most popular XML format today. Thousands of web sites today use RSS as a “what’s new” mechanism to drive traffic their way. (Including the BBC, CNET, CNN, Eweek, Forbes, Motley Fool, Wired, Red Herring, Yahoo, MSN and many more…).

As each day passes by, new websites are being launched and added to the internet bandwagon and in order to compete, webmasters & web publishers need to find different ways of producing themed-based websites. Highly focused articles are often sought by webmasters. Why? Because content on the web is still king! In order to attract search engines and site visitors, webmasters depend heavily on providing informative, creative and fresh content. If the web site content is rich, visitors will come. If the website content is updated regularly, visitors will return. When evaluating a website’s traffic it is easy to see that the low cost of syndicated content can add-up considerably to a website’s value.

Many webmasters & web publishers are struggling to find fresh, innovative content while other savvy webmasters have realized the ability hidden within RSS and are adopting the technology at a maddening pace. By utilizing RSS, webmasters can tap through a variety of distinctive free content sources with very little effort. RSS truly is a webmaster’s key to free content.

With the help of RSS technology webmasters can also reach their potential and targeted customers directly, how this is done? Well…. typically RSS feeds contains “News Headlines” and content summaries of a particular product or service these content summaries contain just enough information without overwhelming the reader with superfluous details. If the reader is interested and wants additional information they can click on the item in the feed, accessing the website which contains additional details. RSS readers aggregate multiple feeds, making it easy for individuals to quickly scan information contained within each feed. Feeds are generally themed, allowing users to opt-in to feeds that are of their interest.

One of the major benefits to RSS is that individuals opt-in to content of interest, totally controlling the flow of information that they receive. If the quality of the content in the feed declines, users simply removes the feed from there RSS reader and they will not receive any additional updates from that source. The RSS reader acts as an aggregator, allowing users to view and scan multiple content streams in a very short period of time.
With the RSS webmasters & web publishers have the advantage to update their already existing feed, so that when ever they have something new to publish or offer all they have to do is update their already published feed and the message gets updated everywhere it’s subscribed. No more worrying if your subscribers got your message or not.

Thus, Rss gives you the opportunity in establishing strong relationships with your existing subscribers as well as helps in attracting new potential subscribers who are interested in what you offer.

If you really want to make a difference then RSS is the perfect tool in reaching out to your subscribers or customers throughout

from momentum trading every day. It’s all about the small
details at ChatHotStocks.com.-

Success in online stock trading like with any other business in
life comes from being able to see the big picture and from
paying attention to the small details. Let’s say for example
that you are a business owner and you have a jewelry store on a
given street just like the guy in the other corner does, but
still the other guy is making 5 times more profits than you are
only because he’s doing something different. He knows something
that you still don’t and that’s what makes him more profitable.
The funny thing about this kind of situation is that you could
be just a small distance away from being as successful as he is.

The painful thing is that day trading can become a very
difficult and life consuming business when you don’t know what
you are doing. You can lose a lot of money and time. Valuable
time of your life. Day trading can resemble the closest thing to
a get-poor-quick-method when you don’t implement a proven
trading strategy.

It’s not unusual for a novice day trader to lose $1000 in less
than 3 minutes from the comfort of his own home, or waste a lot
of family time thinking about the stock he should trade for
tomorrow “according to the charts and the stars” and other
confusing technical indicators.

A Simple Strategy for Trading Stocks with Momentum .-

Our trading strategy helps you concentrate and master well
defined momentum factors that can greatly influence the price of
stocks every day.

When it comes to trading stocks with momentum there is more to
it than the over hyped technical analisys jargon. That is why we
won’t bore you and complicate you with the same bunch of
technical tips and tricks that you can read everywhere. If you
want to read a technical approach, you can simply go to your
nearest public library and pick up a technical trading book for
free.

We know that day trading stocks with momentum is not the only
way to make money in the stock market. But it can be the fastest
way when you do it right. We also understand that a lot of
people shy away from momentum trading and think that only a few
traders can profit from it. It’s true. Only those traders with
proven knowledge have the ability to profit consistently from
momentum stocks.

You don’t necessarily have to trade momentum hot stocks all the
time. But you can learn how to take advantage of them when you
have the best opportunities and at the same time limit your
risk.

Let us show you a simple strategy that can make all the
difference at ChatHotStocks.com.-

Little details can make all the difference. It’s not about
reinventing the wheel. It’s about doing what works and focusing
on just that.

Remember that we are not promising you that you will end up
getting rich in one day and that you will never lose a dime
again. That is just not possible. Not in this business. That
maybe Hollywood’s portrait of Wall Street but not the real
thing. That’s why part of our practical momentum trading
strategy clarifies you when to avoid a stock or pull the trigger
and dump it without feeling stuck to a bad outcome if certain

The Skype Approach to VoIP - A Review of Skype

With internet usage reaching almost every country, and economic class, and with its permeation throughout the western world, applications designed to harness its potential in ever more practical ways are constantly arising. One such application is Voice-over-Internet Protocol (VoIP), which continues to challenge its own limitations. There are a few leading players who are jostling for supremacy, including Yahoo! Messenger, MSN Messenger, Skype, and Vonage.

Recently, there have been many converts to Skype, including this reviewer. There are several factors that have influenced my own personal move, but my primary motivations were innovation, quality, and marketability. VoIP has always been an application that is easily marketable, and Skype has added innovative features that are quality-rich:

• SkypeOut, where you can use your computer to call ordinary phone numbers all over the world. The global SkypeOut rate is currently 1.7 Euro Cent (about 2 US cents or 1.1 pence) per minute to more than 20 countries.

• SkypeIn, which is a virtual phone number your friends can call. This is in beta testing at the time of writing this review, but the 12-month subscription is available for € 30 and 3 months for € 10.

• Skype Voicemail, which lets you redirect calls to your voicemail, is available at € 5 for 3 months or € 15 for the year.

However, the most widespread application of Skype is PC-to-PC calls. Any user can make free calls over the Internet to anyone else who also has Skype. It is a simple wizard-based process to download and use the application, and works via your broadband connection with operating systems based on Microsoft Windows, Mac, Linux, and Pocket PCs. All you need is a PC microphone and speakers or a basic USB headset, and what you get is a real-time, telephone-quality voice conversation with any PC end-user in the world. I found the downloading to be extremely simple and straightforward and imagine that anyone, no matter your computer fluency will find it easy as well.

In addition to its ease of setup, the features of Skype are really impressive. There is a facility to search the Skype database, so that you are able to build a list of contacts. We have used Skype for Windows 1.4 for a PC-to-PC conversation between Los Angeles and Mumbai (India), and there was no recorded break in the half-hour call. The clarity was definitely on par with a normal telephone, perhaps even better, with no noticeable time lag. On subsequent calls between these destinations and other US cities including Chicago, the quality continues to amaze us, and the fact that Skype works in most environments, irrespective of firewalls or NAT, widens its reach.

So, what’s the downside? A comparative analysis will help clarify the situation. For a start, Skype does not offer as many calling features as other service providers like Vonage. Then, there have been question marks about the technical/customer support offered by Skype. Another point where Skype loses out is the quality of the SkypeOut package, where the calls made to landlines are of inconsistent quality. One hopes that Skype can add video chat to its repertoire in the near future, which will place Skype on an equal standing with other free VoIP providers like Yahoo! Messenger and MSN Messenger, which already have video capabilities. Skype is undoubtedly ahead of both MSN and Yahoo in terms of voice quality and the real-time conversation experience. On the other side of the spectrum, Vonage offers feature-rich services and better customer service, although all this comes at a price.

My Overall Assessment: Vonage is a better option than Skype for traditional telephone users because Skype is totally computer-dependent and caters to consumers who are “living out of their computers.”

The future has a lot to offer, and undoubtedly Skype will move forward in its evolutionary process, and hopefully improve SkypeOut and emerge successfully out of beta testing for SkypeIn. However, for the moment, Skype is arguably the best option for free PC-to-PC calls. Skype says that the “current focus is to make the best voice-application on the planet”—judging from user feedback around the world, Skype has already gone a long distance towards that objective.

The Problem with Blame? If You Fix the Blame, You Ignore the Problem

Filed under:House Of Self Improvement — posted on @ 12:45 pm

Have you ever found yourself in a hurry to leave the house for an appointment when you could not find your car keys?

Imagine that you and a friend are in a hurry to leave for an important event. You turn over the couch cushions, rifle through the newspapers on the dining room table, search your previous day’s pants pockets, and dig through your purse. Your car keys are nowhere to be found.

Many frantic minutes later, you finally locate the keys. But instead of heading out the door, you argue about who was responsible for misplacing the keys.

Preposterous, isn’t it? Laying blame is a further waste of time. Better to hit the road, right? Unfortunately this logic is often lost when ventures fail and organizations fall short of goals. There is a strong predisposition to finding the sole source of fault. But, that is not how to get things done.

Fix the Problem, Not the Blame

This Japanese proverb provides an important lesson on how to appropriately respond to failure. Laying blame will distract you from resolution. To articulate why, I am going to share a revelation with you.

Failure is Painful

We have all been there. Plans are made, resources committed, hours spent towards achieving a goal. Success or failure can weigh on numerous factors and solitary decisions. When failure happens, you are disappointed. You hurt, and you should hurt. The pain of failure is healthy, and can be very productive.

If you believe it is unreasonable to expect perfection, then you allow for the possibility of failure. Excellence is found in your response to failure, not in your elimination of it—that would be folly.

Excellence cannot be achieved without staying steadfast and focused on your goals. Within the construct of excellence, failure is feedback from the system you are operating in. Failure is a call to alter your strategies or improve your execution.

We all make mistakes. Mistakes put you in pain. To solve the problem, requires learning from your mistakes. Why is the pain of failure healthy?

Pain Teaches

The pain experienced by your failure is your conscience providing motivation to change and the urgency to mitigate the damage. Disavowing the pain, by laying blame, provides you with relief at the cost of distracting your focus and energy away from where it is needed to produce corrective action and results.

Take the timeless example of a losing sports team. When a team is losing, when its performance is inferior to its competitors, what is the standard response? Dismiss the coach; rather than those directly responsible for performance, the players. How often does this improve performance?

Certainly there are instances when coaching changes result in more wins, but rarely are those changes long-lasting. Sports teams relying on a coaching change to alter results are acting in a false logic.

The rare exception when a leadership change produces lasting positive results becomes the justification for others to follow the example. In part, it is the path of least resistance. However, these exceptions do not disprove the rule: fix the problem.

Turnarounds in performance are more often influenced by other factors: changes in tactics, euphoria stemming from the short-term pain relief, changes in personnel or alterations on a systems level.

Whether or not you believe in the chaos theory maxim that the flutter of a butterfly’s wings in one part of the world can influence weather in another part, success and failure are systemic. On an individual level, your lasting success is derived from your habits, your work ethic, the system of actions and responses that you have taken the time to program into your psyche, to learn.

This systematic influence of habits, work ethic, and programmed actions and responses, are also true on a corporate level. Where coaching changes, or changes in corporate leadership, are most beneficial is when these changes are a component of systematic alterations.

Then, why are we attracted to blame?

Blame is Easy

Our failures, both individual and corporate, leave us in pain. The psychological process of choosing blame over resolution is immediate gratification. Blame provides a path of less resistance. Resolution requires patience, fortitude, and rigor. Just as it is easier to break a vase then fix it, it is also easier to point the finger at the one who broke the vase then fix it.

However where pain is concerned, you can either pay now, or pay later with interest.

To employ another timeless example, observe closely the next time a highly visible publicly traded company replaces their CEO. The popularity of the move among the financial markets will be reflected in the short-term fluctuation of their stock price. But, what happens long-term?

If the dismissal is a scapegoat gesture, there will be no lasting improvement in the company’s financial performance. The company took the easy way out. If the performance improves long-term, you can be sure that the dismissal was part of a systemic initiative: individual and collective habits changed, new plans were developed and carried out, a viable strategic vision was undertaken.

Fix the Problem or the Blame

It is not viable to expect that humans or any collection of humans will not make mistakes. If you are focused on achieving a goal, mistakes are a call to alter your strategy or improve your performance.

So you have a choice: either fix the problem or the blame! You cannot do both. Fixing the blame has the effect of diminishing pain, the same pain that would facilitate the lessons that need to be learned to avoid similar mistakes in the future.

The Skinny On Siberian Ginseng

Filed under:Online Templates Resources — posted on @ 8:02 am

Ginseng is yet another addition to the category of Hot
supplement topics. Of course - if there is a naturally occurring
substance that helps to stimulate mental and physical energy,
decrease incidence of cancer and ward off colds and flu - I
certainly want answers! Although I’m still left a bit confused
about all the different varieties - Siberian ginseng appears to
be a popular, commercially available and beneficial form.

The Claims:

Decrease/Prevent Stress and Stress Related Illness: Created from
the root of the Eleutherococcus senticosus plant native to
Siberia, Siberian ginseng has been used as an energy tonic by
the Chinese for over 5,000 years. This is exciting news as it
appears that ginseng improves both mental alertness and
attention to detail. It has been noted in many studies to
improve endurance and increase overall energy in many athletes.
For me, this begs the question: “Could ginseng be a natural
solution to ADD?” It does appear so. And where stress is
concerned - in documented patient studies, rates of stress were
lower in individuals who supplemented. Ginseng has shown promise
in both the relief of stress and decreased incidence of stress
related diseases, such as arteriosclerosis, by improving
circulation and normalizing blood pressure.

Relief of Menopause Discomforts:

Siberian ginseng - in many of the articles and studies I found -
works to stabilize hormone levels to decrease or relieve the
discomforts of menopause, i.e. emotional instability and hot
flashes. Also ginseng is used in much the same way to stimulate
the endocrine gland and also assimilate vitamins and minerals.

Increase Male and Female Fertility:

In females - many of the studies suggest - ginseng supports
uterine function. This will strengthen the female uterus and aim
to make it more fertile. In males, ginseng acts in much the same
way by stimulating testosterone levels.

Treatment of Cold and Flu:

In many cases, Siberian ginseng has helped to stimulate the
immune system to both decrease the symptoms of cold and flu and
support the body by warding off infection of cold and flu,
entirely.

Other Noted Pathologies Relieved by Siberian Ginseng

* Decreased symptoms of Alzheimer’s * Decreased symptoms of
rheumatoid arthritis * Decreased symptoms of chronic fatigue
syndrome and fibromyalgia * Decreased symptoms of multiple
sclerosis * Decrease in general fatigue associated with PMS

The Bad News:

As customary, I always want to know “what’s the bad news?”
First, my usual disclaimer: Always check with your doctor before
beginning any supplementation - in this case especially.
Ginseng, it’s known, could mimic a period in menopausal women.
Also check with your doctor about any drug interactions. Other
bad news - there has been mild diarrhea in rare cases associated
with Siberian ginseng supplementation and - oddly enough - it
should be avoided if you have high blood pressure, are
menstruating or are pregnant. Otherwise Siberian ginseng appears
to be very safe at recommended doses. With high doses, insomnia,
nervousness, irritability and anxiety have been reported.

How To:

In everything I’ve read, the information was consistent: Take
ginseng on an empty stomach, before breakfast or 1 hour prior to
meals. To decrease risk of insomnia, avoid taking ginseng close
to bedtime. Also consistent: Make sure you obtain your Siberian
ginseng from a reputable source. Other tips: Be sure the ginseng
is “standardized” and contains at least 0.9% of it’s active
ingredient “eleutherosides.”

When supplementing Siberian ginseng - according to my favorite
source, Dr. Earl Mindell (see sources below) take 2-3 caps of
100-200mg daily as a preventative. There are many
recommendations for different ailments - including rotating
different varieties of ginseng. If you have a pathology you
think may be helped by ginseng - discuss with your doctor how to
treat it accordingly. It is also known that the body likes a
breather from ginseng - therefore, according to all sourced
noted, be sure to take two weeks off every three months.

Granite is Tough; Taking Correct Care of It Isn’t

Filed under:The Gardening Way — posted on @ 6:26 am

Crystal like granite countertops and spa type bathrooms built with natural stone are all the rage in home interiors, but not surprisingly it will lose its investment value fast if not properly maintained.

Up to now, only ammonia based cleaners were the granite cleaning choice outside of soap and water for homeowners, regardless of the fact that these products in reality damage natural stone.

Marble Master’s stone cleaning product line safely cleans and conditions countertops, floors and wall surrounds made of granite, marble, travertine and other natural stone. For more information, visit www.marblemasteruk.com

“Ammonia-based products remove the seal of natural stone, allowing stains to penetrate the surface and set more easily,” said Edward Green, Technical Director of Marble Master. “The damage caused by these products increases the chance that the stone will have to be refurbished or replaced, which is a costly undertaking.”

Natural stone is hard-wearing, but still needs appropriate care to continue its inherent beauty. When treated correctly, it is a low maintenance surface that will hold its gleam longer than any other surface known to man, and can enhance the value of your home.

Marble Master’s set of non ammoniated, inexpensive products features its Daily Cleaner, Daily Cleaner Wipes, Polish/Protector, Stone Soap and Penetrating Sealers. The line protects and extends the life of stone countertops and gives customers high quality cleaning power. The line is non toxic, safe on all food preparation surfaces, features a streak-free formula and is easy to use.

Marble Master Products are also effective when used on natural quartz surfaces and engineered stone and can be safely used on ceramics or porcelain tile and grout. This exclusive product line, which contains the highest grade of quality ingredients, is user friendly, non toxic and safe for the environment.

The Marble Master Stone Care System is specially formulated and developed by stone care professionals with more than 40 years of experience in the natural stone industry. For more information or to purchase the products, visit www.marblemasteruk.com or call 020 8807 8889.

EE Meditation, Shaman + Integrated Soul Personality, Fragmentation, MPD + DID Psychology; Pt. 3 of 3

Filed under:New Age Infos — posted on @ 4:30 am

There is in every person the possibility of an integrated Soul Personality. However, normally the average person is split to a greater or lesser degree, dependent upon the amount of pain, trauma and undigested stress in their lives and dependent upon the amount of work they have done to integrate their personalities by means of therapy and meditation.

Therapy and psychology allow intellectual appreciation of the problem in ourselves and others. It takes meditation to heal the splits and integrate the separated selves.

Colin Ross (Ross, 1997) lists 11 dissociative features of the Shamen work, and relates each to Dissociative Identity Disorder or Splitting. These parallelisms are worth mentioning here, as they further ground the experiences of Split patients in a milieu that is pathological by reference to the abilities of Shamen which are integrated and real:

Possession by the Souls of Ancestors– In trance states, Shamen would often deliberately become possessed by the souls of dead ancestors, who would impart advice and wisdom. Again, it takes a strong sense of the Higher Soul Infused Personality to be able to enter into the various unintegrated parts of the personality and then return as it is easy to get lost.

For thousands of years it was common knowledge that Personalities migrated from body to body, lifetime after lifetime. Only a Soul Integrated personality can remember their past lifetimes, for example Buddha often talked about this. It is fairly common for Split patients to have at least one alter who claims to be a dead ancestor and their access to this information shows that these people are in the process of integration, their amnesia is starting to slip.

So called normal people have no access or experience of this reality through deep amnesia and they are fearful of the tales of ghosts and ancestors because of their not wanting to face up to their painful memories which are the real cause of their amnesia. However, there is no need for this fear. The real experiences we cannot face up to as children, once accessed in energy enhancement meditation are easily and painlessly digested and integrated by the adult.

Possession by Helping Spirits– These “familiars” were often invoked by Shamen during trance states as helpers and guides. Split patients almost always have helper personalities, some of whom claim to be from other dimensions or to be spirits.

Exhaustion Following Strenuous Trance Work– Intense trance events often left Shamen tired for a period of days. Spiritual work for the Integration of the split off parts of the Client takes energy. Intense psychological Split treatment sessions have a similar effect.

Stimulating Dissociation through Intoxication– As mentioned, it was rare for Shamen of old to use intoxicants, except, rarely, hallucinogenic mushrooms. Split patients, on the other hand, frequently resort to chemical paths to dissociation, and often manifest substance-abusing alters.

Why do you drink? Because I want to forget. What do you want to forget? I don’t know, I’ve forgotten! Split patients always resort to amnesia in order to handle painful events and amnesia is the symptom of a Split personality. So called normal people have split from their subconscious and Unconscious minds and this also is a symptom of a Split personality, whereas the Shamen and the enlightened have complete or better access to their shadow sides.

Out-of-Body Experiences– A common technique for Shamen was astral projection, or out-of -body travel, where they would project themselves into the spirit or real world to accomplish integration of their clients. This happens spontaneously in meditation which is a training in Integration. For thousands of years Shamen and the Enlightened have helped their clients in the field of healing and Personality Integration. Many Split patients have had out-of-body experiences, often at the time of childhood abuse, as a means of psychic escape but also as the first stage of attempting to heal the personality split. Sometimes they spontaneously succeed in healing themselves but often further help and training is needed. Chiron the wounded healer is the symbol of this process. Usually it is only the wounded healer who has been healed, who knows the process to heal others.

Transformation of Identity– During the possession state of trance, the shaman became reciprocally identified with the possessing spirit in a manner analogous to alter switching in Split patients, but Shamen always returned consciously to their main, Soul Personality. They have this ability not to get lost by having already integrated their Personalities which have then become more strong than the average personality. Split people are always lost.

An example of the training given to Shamen is available in a 5000 years old text called, “The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali.” In there a meditational methodology for integration with the soul has been extant for millennia. However, always the Guru Shaman who has walked the path was considered essential to the process of soul integration.

As can be seen from this list of correspondences, there is much commonality between the “professionally” achieved and culturally approved meditative states of the sub-arctic shaman, and the dissociative states of the split patient. Split patients are usually more highly evolved than the average person as their amnesia is starting to slip. They have more psychic ability, more meditative ability, more hypnotizability. Normal people do not have the ability to know that they are split, they think they are perfect. The symptoms of splitness need to be pointed out to normal average people before they can overcome the paradigm of not understanding that they are not yet integrated, they are split too..

This is an Introduction to Split Personality from many works of Psychology and the Shaman as Trained Healer and personality Integrator.. Later I hope to complete the work in 1. The concept of universal dissociation. 2. Multiple personalities, MPD. 3. The Integrated Soul Personality and Energy Enhancement Meditation.

The healer, Shaman, Enlightened through much training, always have the ability to come back to themselves, to re-integrate after helping the integration of a client.

However, the cure for split personality for everyone is integration of the splits by grounding all the negative energy created by traumatic experiences which sustains the splits. As we ground all the negative energy through meditation, so the splits disappear and one integrated soul personality becomes in charge..

Internet Anonymity Concerns - Hiding Your IP Address

In today’s world of globalization and wide spread of computers,
Internet has become increasingly popular way for communication,
for expressing yourself, for sharing your mind with everybody.
Popular types of resources include web blogs, instant messaging,
chats, forums and many others. Just a few clicks and everybody
in the world knows about your point of view on politics,
culture, science, relationships, whatever, since quickly
evolving technologies bring Internet to millions of people
around the world.

But no good comes without bad. The worst thing to consider
about many modern technologies such as Internet is a complete
lack of privacy
. Sitting at the front of your computer
screen and surfing the net you are being watched constantly, by
many people and organizations, interested or not. How is it
possible? Let’s see.

Internet is based on IP - Internet Protocol - special network
protocol designed at the beginning of 70s for U.S. defense
purposes, but has become widely used solution today (take a look
at href='http://www.isoc.org/internet/history/brief.shtml' rel="nofollow">Internet
History for more information). Basically, most today’s
computers are connected by IP, and its extension, TCP/IP. We
will not dive into details of TCP/IP here, but rather give a
short explanation and point to major privacy concerns. Main idea
of IP protocol is a set of independent nodes (computers)
connected somehow between themselves, each node has unique
identifier assigned to it, and special rules exists which help
computers exchange data with each other through intermediate
computers, called “IP routers”. The unique identifier is called
IP address, and every networked computer must have it in
order communicate to others. To view your current IP
address
, run “ipconfig” from command line under Windows, or
open web site like href='http://www.netconceal.com' rel="nofollow">www.netconceal.com or href='http://www.showmyip.com' rel="nofollow">www.showmyip.com.

Ok, but what’s wrong with my IP address? Like a regular
address (e.g. your postal address), IP address identifies
your location, no matter how you are connected to the Internet.
For example, DSL connection from your home is managed by ISP
(remember, you have to sign agreement with ISP, and your actual
and billing addresses are there). Wireless connections, such as
GPRS or WiFi are being tracked as well (GPRS stations are able
to determine your position with a mile precision, WiFi are even
more location-bound), and service providers always register and
identify you as a subscriber. Try web sites like
www.ip2location.com to see this in practice (the information is
not exactly precise in all cases, but remember, technology
improves daily!).

Every time you surf the Internet, your IP address is publicly
visible to everyone on target network resources, therefore, your
actual location and even name and age can be tracked as well. Of
course, this costs something (they need to contact web site
owner or hosting provider, and ISP or WiFi access point owner),
but interested parties can implement this fairly easy. This is
very serious point to consider. For example, you submit blog
article, and express your opinion about politics, criticize
something or make really controversial statements. That’s was
just an opinion, relax, everybody. But someone, being, for
example, a religious fanatic or simply paranoid, can find you
and shoot you right at your home. What’s the hell, why? That’s
true, simply because he knows EVERYTHING about you, your IP
address, and thus your name and physical location, since all web
sites keep logs of IP addresses accessing them (once you submit
your post, web site records a number of entries in its log file,
putting together your post and your IP address).

Just for demonstration, 4 simple steps to know everything about
specific person:
1. Retrieve web site logs (not a
problem for site owners, they already have them). How can these
logs be retrieved by anyone? Simply by contacting web site
owner, and many of them will give theirs logs away with
easyness, don’t worry. Just send e-mail using published contact
information (click link like “Contact Us”), write words like:
“Some guy who is using your site is suspected in credit card
fraud, he has stolen my money already!”, or “The person with
nickname ‘blackjack’ from your site is promoting child porn, we
need your web site logs for investigation, thank you.” and 99% -
you’ll receive desired logs.
2. Analyze logs. For
example, get timestamp of specific blog post and search for
records matching this timestamp, then compare URLs of web site
request and extract IP address from log entries.
3.
Obtain IP address owner
(the Internet Service Provider,
ISP). Use www.ip2location.com, it displays ISP. For well-known
ISPs like Verizon - you’re almost done. Otherwise try looking it
up in Google and find their web site. Half an hour and you’ll
surely find it.
4. Contact ISP, supply IP address,
and say something like you did in step (1), and they’ll easily
reveal user of their IP address, because they don’t want
problems with that user. That’s it.

Is there any way to protect you against this? Relax, really
good solution exist and the rest of this article will point you
right there.

Basic idea of all privacy solutions is faking of your real IP
address. How is it accomplished? Solution is based on
intermediary computers, which are placed between you (the person
who wishes to hide himself from everyone) and target web sites
(and other network resources - such as instant messaging, file
sharing etc). Those computers are called ‘Proxy Servers’. How
does Proxy Server work? Very simple: it’s just like a very
simple tunnel between you and web site, all data sent by you to
web site or received by you from web site are passed through
proxy server as is, using special SOCKS protocol (don’t mess
with foot socks, it’s just a coincidence :). What’s the
difference? Exactly, target web site sees Proxy Server IP
address, but not your real IP. And web site logs keep Proxy
Server IP but not your real one as well. Sound great, but how to
use this?

Anonymous Proxy Server lists are published throughout the web
on special web sites, for example www.proxyblind.org. Actually,
proxy server list looks like a simple sequence of IP address :
port number pairs, for example:
123.43.12.96 : 1080

98.15.13.17 : 1080
150.19.87.31 : 1080

Choosing proper Proxy Server from such lists can be a tedious
task, some of them may be valid, and some are not. You just test
them one by one, select valid ones and save them for further
usage. This work must be repeated each time you want to use
proxy, since Proxy Servers get closed very often. After choosing
proper Proxy Server, you have to connect your application (web
browser, instant messenger, whatever) to it and work. Try
configuring your application for use with proxy server. For
example, MSN, Yahoo! and ICQ support SOCKS proxies, but some
programs do not. Microsoft Internet Explorer and Firefox web
browsers also support this, but you must select another kind of
Proxy Server - HTTP proxy (in opposite to SOCKS proxy).

Special software was developed to address the issues listed
above - NetConceal Anonymizer, it keeps you free from manual
proxy server checking, SOCKS configuration and supports ALL
applications. Actually, a few clicks to href='http://www.netconceal.com/hide_IP_address.php' rel="nofollow">hide IP
address and become anonymous.

Download
NetConceal Anonymizer
now and try it. Once the installation
is done, NetConceal Anonymizer is started automatically, now
click the ‘Launch Web Browser’ or ‘Launch Other…’ buttons.
Proxy selection is done within a minute, then application is
started and you can use the Internet fully anonymous, since your
real IP is invisible to everyone. Too good to be true? Please
try it before criticizing.

Rebuilding Oneself: The Universe’s Basic Training

I remember Air Force Basic Training. My Training Instructor not only wanted to teach me the military way, but he also wanted to break me down so that he could rebuild me according to the needs of the military. These are two of the underlying premises of your first few weeks, or months, of your time in the military. Actually, I enjoyed it, but then Air Force Basic is only between six and eight weeks. The other branches have much more extensive training programs that can last for months.

However, the idea here is that, I have been thinking about various challenges presented to myself, and others, over the years and comparing these challenges to the state of the individual at the end of the challenge. It is most interesting to note that, like Basic Training, you are either strengthen and ready for your mission, or you’re washed out or pushed back to the beginning to re-experience your training.

— Challenges —

I have been hit with many challenges throughout my life; however, the one thing I can say, now that I made it out the other end, is that I am much better for it. Of course, life continues to throw odd little challenges every day; however, I have come to realize that it is my responsibility for creating the circumstances for the challenges and my choice as to whether I want to deal with them.

Any time that you remain quiet and still, challenges will rarely appear. This, because, you’re not moving and your space in life is stagnant. However, true challenges only occur once you decide to move forward. When you move, you create an imbalance that must be rebalanced, thus creating friction. Once you gain some momentum, the friction becomes inconsequential and balance returns to accommodate your new state of forward movement.

— Education —

Every time you move toward a goal, the Universe acknowledges your movement and immediately establishes a path of travel. It literally defines the future events and situations based on your current decisions and actions. However, this path can be seen as the curriculum necessary to prepare you for the ultimate objective. Indeed, the Universe won’t tell you whether you should pursue this path; however, it will throw lessons in the way to ensure that you learn what is necessary for your ultimate chosen objective.

— Re-Invention —

We are always ready to hold on to who we are and what we have. It is a safety zone and a way to keep things comfortable and easy for ourselves. But, sometimes this safety zone can stifle us and eventually kill our will.

The difficulty in handling challenges is in our ability to adapt and adjust to the circumstance and to a new view of ourselves. In every challenge comes an opportunity for growth and change. This growth is a way to prepare us for our future and to open new doors for experience and further growth. Once you learn to embrace this growth and your new self, you will be able to move forward in life with ease.

— What’s next? —

Challenges provide us with an environment of change. They make us stronger. They force us to use our creativity to devise new ways of doing things. They help us to grow and be better than we were before. Learn to adapt as challenges present themselves. Don’t allow the challenge to define you. But, as you move through the circumstance and conquer the challenge, identify the important issues of benefit for yourself and incorporate those lessons into your life.

Accept, adapt, and become a newer and better person for every new lesson. Once you look back on your life, you’ll find that you’re not only a better person, but you also made it to your objective!
