Online Poker Sites: Choosing The Best Place To Play

Finding a good place to play poker is a must. If one is to play online for large stakes then they are going to want to find a poker room that’s going to deal them decent hands when it counts. Some poker sites constantly deal crappy hands that can keep a player down on his luck.

Paradise Poker is a great site. Some people know this site as the “World’s Premier Online card room”, On this site there are constantly tournaments going on and a player will always find some high stakes game to enter. People have mentioned that this game has the most pleasing graphics and yet it is not crowded with all sorts of unnecessary icons. For those players worried about the security of their money, Paradise Poker has shuffle card reviews from a highly recommended company, Pricewaterhouse Coopers.

Poker Stars never have a time where there is not a large tournament going on that anyone can enter. Popular with most of the free roll players, the site offers some enjoyable aspects to the programming. Although the site, itself can appear rather chaotic with the extensive graphics that people can use as their icons.

Ultimate Bet may not have the financial status to back it up, but it certainly has a few well-known players such as Annie Duke, Russ Hamilton and Phil Hellmuth. One great aspect about this room is that it includes a rather nice feature where players can minimize their gaming table on the screen, allowing them to play multiple tables easier.

Most of the time, Ladbrokes has encounters worth watching, and for added reliability they are connected with the Hilton Group. Sponsoring a huge tournament in Europe where they don’t accept US players is an annual competition known as the Ladbrokes Poker Tournament. Although the software is nothing extraordinary, it can still provide one with hours of poker entertainment.

Poker Room has a variety of options. Of those include multi-table tournaments, as well as Texas Hold’em, 7 Card Stud, Omaha, Hold ‘em as well as a host of other casino games. For those players worried about viruses, don’t be, there isn’t a download is needed to game on Poker Room. With the addition of a good links section, players are allowed to play a free roll with play money, which includes tournaments.

Prima Poker is more of a group of poker sites rather than a single room and boasts a minimal wait time before a game is available. With twenty-one sites from which they use to collect players for a game, it doesn’t matter where you connected to the site from, there will be a game started.

Full Tilt is another great online poker site. Although the graphics may appear slightly childish, Full Tilt’s interface can be a lot of fun, especially if the cards aren’t flopping your way. With Team Full Tilt, this site boasts some of the best players in the game, including Erik Seidel, Jennifer Harman, Howard Lederer, Chris “Jesus” Ferguson and Phil Ivey this site has earned its bragging rights.

Relatively new to the scene is Hollywood Poker. Unlike any other site, Hollywood Poker allows players to game along side some of their favorite actors including James Woods, the official spokesperson. The graphics aren’t anything special; however, they do offer a cornucopia of options allowing players to maximize their experience.

Aerodynamics the leading factors in vehicle performance

Aerodynamics is one of the leading factors in vehicle
performance. Car racing has focused on this aspect ever since
the 60s, when the first inverted wings were installed on formula
cars. In time, the development of aerodynamic devices grew
stronger, often borrowing ideas and solutions form the flight
industry.

By improving aerodynamics, engineers saw faster lap times and
more driver control over the car, both at high and low speeds.
The final element that contributes to improved handling and grip
is the downforce - using the underbody of the vehicle to
facilitate airflow and “stick” the car to the tarmac.

Since the introduction of aerodynamics, automotive engineers
used the distribution of downforce as the major decisive factor
in car performance. Because of aerodynamic advancements, some
racing cars reach cornering speeds of 4 G (four times the
acceleration of gravity). The same factors that apply to racing
cars also stand true for street legal vehicles. The shape of the
car, the airflow created by accessories and car parts, the
effect of the rear wing spoiler or frontal spoilers - all these
contribute to the aerodynamic level of the car. For improved
downforce, you can try several solutions, such as installing a
well calibrated rear wing or lowering your car’s suspensions.

History and trends in aerodynamic development.

Modern cars are always tested from an aero dynamical point of
view. Wind tunnels are used on car prototypes to see what each
segment of the car does to airflow, and other tools such as
computational aerodynamics and aerodynamic design and
optimization are employed in order to find the best airflow
solutions.

The concept of body streamlining appeared after
Chevrolet-Chaparral implemented some groundbreaking airflow
elements in their Can-Am cars. The rear axel of the car had a
wing attached to two struts and the wing was adjustable at pit
stops to tune the car for the best efficiency. The idea became
very popular in a short while, and other aero dynamical
improvements were soon to follow. Lateral sealing skirts were
later developed and formula racers ended up reaching speeds of
1.7 G. Lotus introduced the ground effect car - the bottom part
of the vehicle was shaped in such a way that the volume of
downforce provided was much greater than with previous models.

Today’s cars, from a Ferrari F50 to a Smart, employ aerodynamics
as an essential factor in their construction. Manufacturers
focus on this aspect of car making - improved aerodynamics
reduce fuel consumption, habitat noise and also provide the
driver with more control and stability, thus improving vehicle
safety.

Bad Credit Auto Loans: Not So Bad After All

For anyone that has a low credit score, or has encountered
serious credit problems in the past, a bad credit auto loan is
of one the few options available. A bad credit auto loan will
allow the borrower a chance to obtain a car. However, because of
the high credit risk of the borrower, the loan will usually have
to be repaid in a shorter time frame and at a higher interest
rate than a conventional auto loan.

Bad credit auto loans typically only apply to used cars and
require the loan to be repaid within 48 months. These terms make
for a less risky loan for the lender. Because used cars are
typically cheaper than new cars, a shorter loan term will give
the borrower a better chance at fully repaying the loan, and
reestablishing their credit history.

If you are thinking of applying for a bad credit auto loan,
there are a few things you should take into consideration:

1. You should have an idea of what prices used cars sell for in
your area, and how much you should borrow. There are some
unscrupulous car dealers out there that will take advantage of
car buyers financing through bad credit auto loans. They will
charge unknowing consumers higher prices based on their credit
situation, and corresponding lack of options.

2. You should definitely shop around for the best terms and
conditions available. Not all lenders are created equal. By
shopping around, you can ensure you get the best deal possible.

3. You need to know the specific requirements stipulated for the
bad credit auto loan you are applying for. There are some banks
and financial institutions that will only write auto loans for
vehicles that are no more than 4 or 5 years old. Make sure you
know all these stipulations before you go shopping.

Even though a bad credit auto loan may not be the ideal way to
finance a used car, for many there are few other options. Do
yourself a favor and shop around for the best deal possible. And
remember that this loan may be the start to obtaining a better
credit history.

Teach a Dog To Swim

You want your dog to swim?

We’re going to try to give some advice on how to teach a dog how to swim and some general safety issues. As always check with your vet on any medical questions.

Teaching a dog to swim:

I would suggest starting your dog out in a pool or shallow lake where you can enter the water with your dog. Many dogs will be more confident if you are standing with them if they are nervous about venturing out on their own. So by walking out, you can build their confidence before letting them go on their own. Bring a favorite toy with you and encourage them out further by tossing the toy short distances and swimming over to it.

Some tips:

Bring another dog who knows how to swim along to help encourage your pet to try.

There are life vests (life jackets) you can purchase to aide in teaching your dog. These usually have handles that you can hold onto easily and are helpful for getting a dog back into a boat.

Water Freaking

Here is a common problem. Your pup goes off and won’t come back. You have two choices, swim out and get them, or wait until they get tired and come back. Never let them off leash and away from you until you know for a fact they will return or start in shallow water where you can go get them should you need to.

I use a two toy approach to retrieving and swimming. I always keep one close by so I can toss it near me. Try to make a lot of noise to get their attention and toss it into the shallow water. Tennis balls are not the best choice as they can get lodged in the throat blocking the airway. I really like kong retrieving toys or retrieving bumpers.

Afterwords, make sure you RINSE your dog with fresh water to get out any bacteria or chemicals. You can also rinse your dog before hand to help the water not absorb into the coat hair.

Massage That Bridges The Space Between Body And Spirit

Filed under:Life Of Health — posted on @ 2:27 am

For many individuals, massage has evolved from a periodic
indulgence to a key component of an overall health and fitness
regimen. The ability of massage to reduce stress and remedy
various physical ailments has convinced many to include a
massage therapist on their list of health providers.

But the art of massage takes many forms. Typically, a visit to a
spa or an independent massage therapist will include some form
of Swedish massage or deep tissue massage. These techniques are
designed to invigorate muscles by promoting increased blood flow
to specific areas and identifying and relieving particular
problems. The application of these types of massage involves
long, rhythmic strokes and kneading or circular actions with the
hands, palms or fingers. The result is improved circulation,
physical relaxation and a reduction in mental stress.

Shiatsu massage is also an extremely effective form of massage
but with a somewhat metaphysical rationale to support the
technique.

Shiatsu is a Japanese word that means “finger pressure.” The
goal of Shiatsu is to restore the balance of energy in the body.
Proponents of Shiatsu and acupuncture believe that disease and
physical infirmities are caused by imbalances or blockages in
the flow of energy through the body. This energy is called “ki”
which flows through the body along meridians or energy channels.
Practitioners strive for a balance between Yin (negative energy)
and Yang (positive energy) and attempt to determine where there
may be a build up of energy or an energy deficiency. Either will
cause problems.

Shiatsu does not use the rubbing and kneading technique of
Swedish massage but applies pressure using almost any part of
the therapist’s body including arms, legs, fingers, hands, feet,
elbows, toes, etc. The therapist locates a particular point
along one of the body’s meridians and applies pressure to that
area, attempting to restore balance to the flow of energy. The
pressure can be applied gently with the fingers or may be
applied forcefully with the point of the elbow depending on the
location of the point and the severity of the blockage. The
therapist may also incorporate stretching, holding or rotating
various parts of the body

The restoration of the proper balance of “ki” is viewed as a
spiritual as well as physical benefit. The balanced flow of
energy offers physical comfort and improved health as well as
emotional stability and spiritual well being. In fact, it is not
uncommon that a recipient of Shiatsu massage may experience an
intense emotional response as energy is released from problem
areas and restored to proper levels. Crying is not an unusual
occurrence and a good Shiatsu massage therapist is fully
prepared for, and completely sympathetic to, this type of
response.

Shiatsu massage is an extremely relaxing and healing form of
massage. It is satisfying to know that besides feeling better, a
Shiatsu experience can place us back in balance with the energy
flow of the universe.
