Knighthood to David Jason and Marriage to Gill

The 65 year-old BBC Only Fools and Horses actor arrived at Buckingham Palace this morning to receive his honour with new wife Gill. Gill Hinchcliffe has been his long time partner and at 45 became not just Mrs White, but Lady White too.

The Queen Mother is said to have been one of the members of the Royal Family who received advance copies of Only Fools and Horses. In recent years, the special Christmas edition of the perennial BBC favourite has been broadcast as reliably as the Queen’s Speech.

When interviewed, David Jason fell into his Del boy roll while being interviewed. Sir David, 65, acknowledged his debt to the character of Derek “Del Boy” Trotter, saying modestly: “Being a fool is probably the only gift I possess.” He said the Queen was “not necessarily a fan”, but certainly recognised his long-standing career, which has included roles in Open All Hours and the Darling Buds of May and A Touch of Frost.

The smiling couple, accompanied by their four year old daughter Sophie May, then ignored further questions as they dashed off for a series of television interviews.

Sir David met Hinchcliffe on the set of “A Bit Of A Do” in 1989. They remained friends and their relationship did not start until David’s previous partner of 18 years, Myfanwy Talog, died tragically of cancer in 1995.

Gill gave birth to the couple’s first child, Sophie Mae, in 2001 at Stoke Mandeville Hospital, Aylesbury.

How Do You Know if You Have Manic-Depression

Nancy was doing very well until about two years ago when Phil, her boyfriend of 9 years, broke-up with her. It was a difficult moment for her especially after she learned that Phil eventually married her cousin. Since then, Nancy had deteriorated. One evening, she was involved in a motor vehicular accident because she was driving fast and recklessly in a quiet suburban neighborhood.

During interrogation, the cops noted that Nancy was talking rapidly and nobody could interrupt her. Also, she was making jokes and laughing so loud. She further indicated to them that she was on her way to meet the President and his top officials about her invention that could cure the oil crunch. She eventually ended up in the emergency room where she was diagnosed and treated for bipolar disorder after intensive evaluation.

Bipolar disorder or manic-depression is manifested by highs and lows. When a patient like Nancy is on the manic side, there is a persistent feeling of euphoria or irritability associated with lack of need for sleep, excessive energy, agitation, fast and loud speech, increase in goal-directed activities such as spending sprees and establishing businesses with no appropriate plan, and hypersexuality.

Patients with this disorder develop poor judgment and impulsivity. They become irritable and can lash out easily even if not provoked. Some patients have delusions of grandeur. When this happens, patients think that they have special powers, talents, and influence.

When not manic, patients either feel normal or depressed. Depression in bipolar disorder has the same manifestation as major depression that consists of feelings of sadness associated with neurovegetative signs and symptoms such as inability to sleep, eat, and concentrate. Energy level is also impaired. In addition, patients experience a feeling of hopelessness, worthlessness, and helplessness. Suicidal ideation may ensue.

For individuals who develop mania, does it always mean that they suffer from bipolar disorder?

Not necessarily. Mania can be caused by various medical and neurologic conditions. For instance, multiple sclerosis and stroke can present with manic symptoms. Moreover, medications and street drugs may precipitate mania. Steroids, cocaine, and amphetamine are some examples. Even some antidepressants can induce mania.

So when a person shows mania, the physician usually does intensive evaluation to rule out medical, neurologic, and medication-induced conditions before diagnosing bipolar disorder. This process is important because the treatment varies depending upon the cause. Once other conditions are ruled out, then bipolar disorder can be safely diagnosed and treated.

Where The Bassalo Roam

Have you ever thought why fishing timbers is so productive? Well, for one, most anglers don’t want to fish them because they’re afraid of losing a $5.00 lure. This makes it better for us that are willing to take the risk. Sure, you get those who will throw a spinnerbait on the top of the timber but the fish are in the timber. You need to throw crankbaits or pitch a tube or jig to catch the fish. Most of the fish never see a spinnerbait. Also everyone knows that the bass will use that cover to break free if they can, again losing a lure in some cases.

So, how do you know where to fish in a lake full of trees? Well, you don’t pay attention to the trees to start with and look for structure below the surface. Creek channels are a good place to start. They are the freeways for bass. Look for points, road beds and bends. In the spring look for spawning areas. So, the first step in fishing trees is to use your topo map and depth finder. Once you fish an area throughly, then use the map and depth finder to find other places like where you caught fish. You will want to pay attention to the season too, different patterns for different seasons. Find cover that hold a variety of cover not just one type.

Trees that have vegetation nearby, different types of trees, trees by drop-offs are are good places to fish. If you have all standing timber and see one tree laying down in the water, then by all means fish the laydown throughly. Pine trees aren’t really a good place to start, maybe they give off a scent but bass don’t seem to like them very well. On the other hand cedar and oak are both good trees to fish.

Try fishing with a squared lipped crankbait that will reflect and have erratic movement when it hits something. Try flippin and pitchin a jig or tube. Get down to where the fish are, if you’re not getting hung up, then you probably aren’t where the fish are located. Once you start catching fish in timber then pay attention to the depth you catch the fish at, most of the time they stay in the same depth range in timber.

Fish timber, it’s productive, find the bottom structure you need and get down to where the fish are.

Elements need to be arranged in standard combinations to be eliminated, for example, Orbs need to be arranged in lines. What is most interesting is that when combination blasts - nearby elements can be shifted by the blast. This ultimately leads to fascinating chain reactions of elements’ blasts!

So, it’s end. In next Part we will see last seven games - Pax Galaxia, Snowy: Space Trip, Meteor, Star Blaze, Xeno Assault 2 and Zzed.

Discount Brokerage Firms

Stock brokers offer varying ranges of services to their clients; accordingly their chargeable commission rates differ. While many brokers provide a smattering of value-added services to their clients - including market research input and analysis – other brokerage firms’ offerings are relatively modest. In stock market jargon, these much more basic firms are called discount brokers.

Because discount brokerage firms provide few services beyond executing trade deals for their clients, the commissions charged by these brokers are relatively low. They are very popular with small investors in the stock markets. Discount brokers are also preferred by small traders at commodity exchanges.

There are two basic types of discount brokers operating in the stock markets: standard discounters and deep discounters. The former offer discounts of up to 50% of commissions charged by the full-service brokers; the latter boast concessions as high as 90%. No wonder small investors usually fall to these tempting offers.

Those small investors who are fairly familiar with the functioning of the markets can save a lot on payable commissions by opting for discount brokers. These investors would make their trading decisions on the basis of their own experience, rather than on any specialized market intelligence - intelligence for which the full-service brokers charge handsomely. Nevertheless, it is generally advised that new entrants in the markets cannot do without the support of specialized market intelligence. The functioning of the markets is very complex and unpredictable, and involved risks may cause an adventurous stock market greenhorn big financial losses.

Online Student Loans

Filed under:Web Of Loans — posted on @ 7:35 am

A student loan is a loan that is granted to a college student enrolled in courses full or part time for at least one semester or quarter and who have declared a major with the intent of pursuing a degree of higher education. Student loans can be granted through various lenders with a governmental guarantee, or can be granted from private lenders with no guarantee. Some student loans do not require a parent’s signature, while others do. The government guaranteed student loan is classified by two types, subsidized and unsubsidized.

The subsidized student loans have a yearly limit and allow for the government to pay the interest on the loan while the student is in school. The unsubsidized student loan allows for a higher yearly limit, but the student must pay the interest while in school, or the accrued interest will be added onto the balance of the loan and is the responsibility of the student during repayment. A student loan can be deferred while the student is in school half time indefinitely. Private student loans usually have a set period of deferment, 2-5 years, and then the student must begin repayment regardless of whether or not they have completed their education.

Currently, student loans have the best interest rates in town. As the interest rate index rises, so will the student loan rate. During low rate times, many scramble to consolidate their student loans. This saves a tremendous amount of interest in the long run, since a student loan repayment plan can extend over 25 years depending on the loan balance. Those students with an extremely low student loan balance ($5,000 or less) usually only have the typical 5 or 10 year repayment option. A student loan is eligible to be used for tuition, books, on campus housing and childcare expenses. Some student loans allow for the purchase of an automobile to get to and from school, or other pertinent school materials such as a computer or to pay off other student loan debt.

Many students today are counting on student loans for their education. What they are not realizing when they sign the student loan promissory note is the debt they are incurring for a very long time after their schooling has been completed. The average student loan balance is upwards of $50,000 for a four year degree. Add to that professional education costs, and some students will have over $150,000 in student loan debt. While the investment of an education is always a wise idea because investing in one’s mind will never diminish in value, the costs associated with this investment and the income expected to earn should be carefully evaluated. Some careers do not warrant a high enough salary to repay the loans. Grants and scholarships should always be considered as alternatives to obtaining student loan debt.

Health Insurance Coverage

Filed under:World Of Nutrition — posted on @ 4:40 am

Health insurance coverage is basically an arrangement that for a fee(premium), an insurer pays the medical expenses of an individual. With medical costs sky high, health insurance is essential for everyone.

Unlike the underdeveloped and developing countries where most people are uninsured, almost 85% of United States citizens are insuranced.

Most people have group health insurance through their employer, union or organization. This is usually less expensive than individual coverage. Government health plans are also available.

There are different types of health insurance available. Some special coverages include maternity, travel, dental and disease specific illnesses. Coverage can be for an individual or a family. Some policies do not cover prescription drugs.

The laws relating to insurance differ from country to country and state to state, and there are Federal and state laws. A Federal legislation, Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act(COBRA) provides group coverage for a period of time after a person ceases employment. Premiums vary in each state, and there are various insurance guides for each state.

Aside from regular insurance, there are other types including Health Maintenance Organizations (HMOs), Preferred Provider Organizations (PPOs) and Point of Service (POS) plans. Before you make a decision, learn how each operates and the advantages and disadvantages of both. Sometimes these services overlap.

Today, health insurance agencies put great emphasis on prevention and delaying onset of disease. This philosophy holds many benefits for the insurer, the client and the nation at large.

Look at various health insurance options and choose wisely keeping in mind cost and benefit. For instance, a newly married couple may find it cheaper to purchase individual policies rather than a family plan. Make sure that the insurance is what you need and the price is right.

Don’t Lose Email Leads in Your Spam Filter

Filed under:Great Marketing Tips — posted on @ 12:43 am

Chances are you could be missing important business opportunities if your email Inbox utilizes a spam filter. Take a few minutes now to investigate your email screening procedures for messages received from unknown senders. You might even discover a new client hiding among the spam!

Email inquiries from new business prospects, which by definition are unknown and unexpected when they arrive in your Inbox, can take a detour to your spam box without your knowledge.

When was the last time you did not receive an email sent by a client or friend? Failed email delivery can be quite common. Usually the sender just emails you again until you receive the message.

Now imagine a situation where somebody (like a prospective legal client) sends you an email that you don’t receive, but they don’t tell you about it. Attorneys or paralegals frequently contact a number of experts via email and engage the most qualified candidate who responds first. You miss out on a potential engagement if the email inquiry does not show up in your inbox.

Here are five easy steps to protect your email, receive incoming leads and avoid technical nightmares:

1. Check your spam box often if you use automated email filtering. Microsoft Outlook 2003 and AOL give you the ability to control the settings and security levels for your incoming email.

2. Add a response form to your Website. Your Webmaster can set this up so that you are automatically alerted with an email recognized by your server.

3. Update your “safe” and “blocked” sender lists often, especially if delivery is controlled at the ISP level. Add a law firm’s email domain to your approved email list when you get a new client from the firm.

4. Separate business from personal correspondence by using two different email accounts.

5. Avoid downloading free software or clicking on unsolicited ads. If you do, you may find yourself subject to a virus or malicious Adware attack.
