Bridal Jewelry and The Dress

We all know that when a bride to be has already spent practically twenty years planning her wedding before she even knows who the groom is, the image that she dreams of is how she will look on her wedding day. Every little detail counts and is carefully pondered upon before making the all important wedding decisions.

The first part of the dream is “The Dress”, the wedding gown, her day, her style. The selection of the wedding gown is one of the most important items a bride to be must decide upon. The dress no matter what the style should always be a selection that the bride to be feels elegant and beautiful in. Whether a bride envisions herself in a simple white gown, a lacy gown or a bright pink gown, the bride’s attitude in the dress is what makes that bride an individual and beautiful bride on her wedding day. The selection of the wedding gown should always remain fun and as stress free as possible, buy what makes you feel beautiful.

Now that the dress has been chosen, you have been measured and the all important deposit has been made, you are committed to “The Dress”, you need to finish off your bridal look for your wedding day. This is where all of the little details that you hem and haw about for hours come together to make a magnificent and magical combination of the perfect bride! The shoes, the garter, the something old something new and last but certainly not least, the bridal jewelry!

The bridal jewelry that the bride to be decides upon should coordinate with the wedding gown she has selected to wear for the big wedding day. Keeping in mind the style of your dress, the bridal jewelry selection must be made with as careful of attention to detail as when choosing your wedding gown. The bridal jewelry chosen by the bride should finish off your look and bring the entire ensemble together.

Some suggestions to follow as to the style of dress you are wearing to match the style of the bridal jewelry you will wear follows.

Open Backed Dress - When wearing an open back dress, adding a bridal jewelry lariat is a great way to add the final detail to show off your beautiful wedding gown. A bridal lariat is a piece of bridal jewelry that the bride wears around her neck like a normal necklace; however; the back of the neck will have a longer dangling piece of jewelry to finish off the look. Depending upon the piece of bridal jewelry, lariats can be purchased that are adjustable, which will be a better fit for any bride with a backless dress. Another great way to show off a backless dress is a bridal jewelry choker or bridal jewelry collar with a hanging jewel embellishment in the back. Bridal chokers have become a very modern and popular choice for brides that want an edgier bridal look and feel that still embraces the classic and elegant bride.

V Neck Dress - When a bride is wearing a v neck style wedding gown, Y- drop necklaces are a very nice touch for bridal necklace jewelry. The Y- drop necklace takes the same angles as the v neck wedding gown line. Bridal chokers are also a great selection for the bride that is wearing a v line dress. The choker gives clean lines and does not distract from the v neck style of dress. Regular simple and double strand necklaces also work very nicely for this style of wedding gown, as they provide a simple but elegant style that compliments the v neck.

Square Top Dress – For the brides that select a very traditional square top wedding gown, simple single strand and double strand bridal jewelry necklaces are a great way to finish off the neckline. They bring contrast and attract the eye towards the cut of the dress. For a very clean lined look, bridal jewelry chokers are the most perfect style of bridal jewelry necklines for the square top dress. The bridal choker has become more and more popular as the years pass, now with so many options available; brides are finding it easier to select the perfect bridal jewelry choker that fits the style of their gowns.

The Sweetheart Gown - The sweetheart gown style of wedding gown is accessorized nicely with a y – drop necklace, as it follows the line of the top of the wedding gown. Also with this style of gown, bridal chokers go nicely, as well as pendant necklace and simple round necklaces. The sweetheart gown is such a nice choice; the bridal jewelry that you select to wear with the gown should always compliment that neckline.

Strapless Dress – When a bride wears a strapless gown, there are many options for the bridal jewelry necklace. A bridal jewelry choker is such a great way to compliment the line of the top of the dress. A choker brings a symmetrical and parallel line, and adding a sparkly pearl or swarovski crystal bridal jewelry choker or collar with a strapless gown is so elegant and sophisticated. In addition to the bridal choker, simple pendant necklaces as well as single strand and multi-strand necklaces make great choices for the strapless style wedding gown. Wearing a strapless gown draws much attention to the shoulders and neck region, so wearing the perfect bridal jewelry that looks spectacular with that line of dress is very important for your bridal look.

Halter Top Dress - The halter top dress calls for a certain type of bridal jewelry. A dangle backed necklace or lariat are perfect for this line of wedding gown. The attention is drawn on the front and the back, making use of the entire wedding gown to compliment your bridal jewelry. A halter dress also looks beautifully pulled together with a y drop necklace or pendant necklace. The y drop necklace was just about made for this style of wedding gown; the y drop centers the entire look and feel of this type of gown.

Off The Shoulder Dress - When wearing an off of the shoulder dress, any style of bridal jewelry necklace works. A regular single or double strand necklace can frame out your entire bridal look with simplicity. If you choose to wear a bridal jewelry choker, that brings the eyes up to the face with ease as it finished off your bridal look. Y drop and lariats work great with the off the shoulder dress. Depending upon how much of your back shows, a lariat can look elegant from behind when standing at the alter, and a y drop necklace really brings focus to the bride with this gown. What ever style you choose for this line of dress, you cannot go wrong.

One Shoulder Dress or Asymmetric Dress - With the asymmetric gown, it is best to choose a great bracelet and pair of earrings, as a necklace will look unbalanced and unnatural. The one shoulder dress is a bold move; wear a bold bracelet and glamorous earrings.

Scoop Necked Gown – When wearing the scooped neck gown a simple one or multi-strand necklace is perfect. A necklace such as the simple one to five strand bridal necklaces will frame out the top of your wedding gown perfectly. A bridal jewelry choker is also a really nice selection for this style of dress. It is a simple and even topper to the scoop neckline, a great selection.

Whatever your dress selection, choose bridal jewelry that makes you feel gorgeous when you put it on. Your bridal jewelry is your icing on the cake and the selection of the bridal jewelry is just as important as the selection of the gown. Your bridal jewelry will be bridal accessories that you cherish for a life time. You will never wear your wedding gown after the big day, but you can wear your bridal jewelry when ever you want to. Wearing your bridal jewelry is your memory to the most special day in your life. What ever your bridal jewelry selection, look spectacular on your wedding day because you waited for this special moment for a lifetime!

I’ll Fly Away Not the Song - The Truth is Still Stranger than Fiction

Three views about when the removal of believers takes place are
held by most Christians throughout the world. Those who think we
are taken at the beginning of the great tribulation are
pre-tribulationists. Those who think the snatching away takes
place in the middle of the great tribulation are the mid-trib
folks. Finally there are the post tribulationists, which is self
explanatory.

Anyone holding one of the three views mentioned has an ample
supply of proof texts to support their views. Very few proof
texts are available for the post tribulation theory and it is
barely supportable. Most people are on the side of the
pre-tribulation rapture; unfortunately it is often for the wrong
reasons. Many people view a pre-tribulation rapture as an
enormous escape hatch. When the going gets rough the
pretribulationists just get going, or just get gone. The fact
that their views may be correct doesn’t diminish the fact that
it is the view most likely to leave the believer unprepared.

It is human nature to take the path of least resistance but it
is high folly to think it will be available right at the point
when things start really getting rough. The bottom line for the
unprepared is that they can only hope their views are right. But
hope is a long way from preparedness.

Many Christians have failed to do the math, not to mention
engaging good sense. It is easy to see why this could happen
considering that no one really wants to see their world torn up
from the roots, and in the vast sticky quagmire of apocalyptic
interpretations and speculations it is easy to get confused. As
a result they have not noticed that one of the simplest ways to
know when the rapture will take place is clearly provided in
scripture. It is not so much when, but it is the latest point at
which it could happen, and also a promise that it can’t happen
before a specific event.

The prophet Daniel spoke of it hundreds of years before Christ.
Jesus reiterated it with a few more details. Finally the book of
Revelation shows it as a pivotal event in the judgment to come.
Simply put the event is the abomination of desolation. When ye
therefore shall see the abomination desolation, spoken of by
Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let
him understand.) Mt 24:15 And arms shall stand on his part, and
they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take
away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination
that maketh desolate. Daniel 11:31 And from the time that the
daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that
maketh desolate set up, there shall he a thousand two hundred
amid ninety days. Daniel 12:11

The time is halfway through the last seven years in which the
antichrist rules the world. The result is the pouring out of the
wrath of God. Rev 16:2. Without getting bogged down in
eschatological theory, semantic word games or other second
coming hype here is the picture in all of its blaring
simplicity. Since the wrath of God is not poured out until the
antichrist does the abomination of desolation that means this is
the last point we could possibly be on the earth according to
the promise of I Thessalonians 1:10. Because this is true, that
puts the mid-tribulationists at the top of the list of those who
are most likely to have it right. This kind of interpretation
comes under the heading of… if the scripture makes plain
sense, seek no other sense.

I always appendage my teaching on the rapture with this equally
important fact, the rapture could come at any time God chooses
to make it happen. All theology is subject to the ultimate
sovereignty of God. The pre-tribulation theory is the most
petted, preferred and defended for a reason. The reason is that
believers fail to differentiate between who and what is causing
the tribulation in those last days. The antichrist makes trouble
for the believer, and then God makes trouble for the antichrist.
We are promised that God will not pour his wrath out on his own
but we are never promised that we can escape the troubles
incurred at the onset of the rule of the antichrist. Rather, we
are told to resist his rule which of itself implies trouble Mk
8:35.

In a country where we are waiting for more of Gods unbridled
blessings it is hard to teach believers that they may not only
have to give something up to fight evil, but ultimately that
something, may be their lives, literally. If your rapture
theology includes the possibility that you may have to give up
your life, you may he happy to find out that even if you held
the wrong view you couldn’t possibly lose anything. More
importantly if you are not wrong at the very least you will be
prepared.

Being ready is part of Gods plan for us when it has to do with
his return. In fact it is a command and an expectation that our
Savior has clearly made known to all of us. Therefore be ye also
ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man
cometh. Mt 24:44

Incontinence: Improving Muscle Tone

Filed under:Universe Of Gender Issues — posted on @ 3:54 am

Incontinence is one of the most common problems among women these days. A treatable disorder, whose main symptom is frequent urination and leakage. An overactive bladder and incontinence affects 12 million North American women.

Incontinence occurs when the urethra loses support from the vaginal walls. Overactive bladder is closely linked to incontinence, and is characterized by such symptoms as frequent urination, insomnia due to the urge to urinate at night, urine leakage, and even bed-wetting. An overactive bladder is often caused by bladder stones, surgery or neurological disease. Among the main risk factors for incontinence are excessive weight, smoking, pregnancy, stress and infections of the bladder, such as cystitis.

Aside from being a physical health issue, incontinence and suffering with an overactive bladder can result in emotional and mental health issues. Frequent urination can be an embarrassing problem. As a result, many women who suffer from incontinence become socially inactive, abandoning social activities. Many women even stop seeing other people.

Childbirth is a major cause of incontinence, with age and menopause contributing to the problem. Vaginal childbirth frequently causes pelvic damage because the pressure of the fetal head displaces and stretches parts of the pelvic anatomy, most specifically, the vaginal walls. With the onset of menopause women can become estrogen deficient which can cause the vagina to thin which prevent the urethral walls from closing well. This lack of closure translates into incontinence.

There is no unique treatment strategy for incontinence and overactive bladder. You can prevent leakage of urine temporarily using diapers and pads, or even undergo a surgery. For bladder infections, there are a number of traditional and herbal remedies, such as cleaver or Marshmallow root teas that help toning bladder muscles.

Incontinence and other bladder problems don’t necessarily have to be treated with medications. Pelvic muscles can be strengthened and toned, just like any muscle in the body, to prevent spontaneous urine leakage. These exercises, called after the doctor Kegel who invented them, are often prescribed to pregnant women. In the same time, Kegel exercises can tighten the muscles that control stream of urine. You can locate these muscles by stopping and starting the flow of urine.

Women, who are already being treated for incontinence, can start doing 3 sets of 50-60 repetitions of Kegel exercises a day. Then, as the muscles strengthen, women can do as much as a hundred Kegels a day - not at one time, of course! Quite conveniently, Kegel exercises can be easily done everywhere, as they are completely invisible. There are even vaginal weights to be used when doing Kegel exercises.

You can develop your own Kegel routine by adding variations of exercise, such as elevation Kegels or holding the pressure for a few seconds. Women who practice Kegels admit that these simple exercises have the added benefit of greatly improving their sex life.

The most important message for women who suffer from any form of urinary incontinence is that in 80 to 90 percent of people it can be significantly improved or even cured.

Cisco CCNP / BSCI Exam Tutorial: RIP Update Packet Authentication

Filed under:World Of Technology — posted on @ 2:28 am

When you earned your CCNA, you thought you learned everything there is to know about RIP. Close, but not quite! There are some additional details you need to know to pass the BSCI exam and get one step closer to the CCNP exam, and one of those involves RIP update packet authentication.

You’re familiar with some advantages of using RIPv2 over RIPv1, support for VLSM chief among them. But one advantage that you’re not introduced to in your CCNA studies is the ability to configure routing update packet authentication.

You have two options, clear text and MD5. Clear text is just that - a clear text password that is visible by anyone who can pick a packet off the wire. If you’re going to go to the trouble of configuring update authentication, you should use MD5. The MD stands for “Message Digest”, and this is the algorithm that produces the hash value for the password that will be contained in the update packets.

Not only must the routers agree on the password, they must agree on the authentication method. If one router sends an MD5-hashed password to another router that is configured for clear-text authentication, the update will not be accepted. debug ip rip is a great command for troubleshooting authenticated updates.

R1, R2, and R3 are running RIP over a frame relay cloud. Here is how RIP authentication would be configured on these three routers.

R1#conf t

R1(config)#key chain RIP

< The key chain can have any name. >

R1(config-keychain)#key 1

< Key chains can have multiple keys. Number them carefully when using multiples. >

R1(config-keychain-key)#key-string CISCO

< This is the text string the key will use for authentication. >

R1(config)#int s0

R1(config-if)#ip rip authentication mode text

< The interface will use clear-text mode. >

R1(config-if)#ip rip authentication key-chain RIP

< The interface is using key chain RIP, configured earlier. >

R2#conf t

R2(config)#key chain RIP

R2(config-keychain)#key 1

R2(config-keychain-key)#key-string CISCO

R2(config)#int s0.123

R2(config-subif)#ip rip authentication mode text

R2(config-subif)#ip rip authentication key-chain RIP

R3#conf t

R3(config)#key chain RIP

R3(config-keychain)#key 1

R3(config-keychain-key)#key-string CISCO

R3(config)#int s0.31

R3(config-subif)#ip rip authentication mode text

R3(config-subif)#ip rip authentication key-chain RIP

To use MD5 authentication rather than clear-text, simply replace the word “text” in the ip rip authentication mode command with md5.

Here’s what a successfully authentication RIPv2 packet looks like, courtesy of debug ip rip. Clear-text authentication is in effect and the password is “cisco”.

3d04h: RIP: received packet with text authentication cisco

3d04h: RIP: received v2 update from 150.1.1.3 on Ethernet0

3d04h: 100.0.0.0/8 via 0.0.0.0 in 1 hops

3d04h: 150.1.2.0/24 via 0.0.0.0 in 1 hops

Here’s what it looks like when the remote device is set for MD5 authentication and the local router is set for clear-text. You’ll also see this message if the password itself is incorrect.

3d04h: RIP: ignored v2 packet from 150.1.1.3 (invalid authentication)

“Debug ip rip” may be a simple command as compared to the debugs for other protocols. but it’s also a very powerful debug. Start using debugs as early as possible in your Cisco studies to learn how router commands really work!

The Top 5 Secrets to Managing Your Credit Cards-So They Won’t Manage You

Filed under:Hall Of Mathematics — posted on @ 1:32 am

You’ve probably never heard of Frank X. McNamara, but he revolutionized the way you shop on a daily basis.

One evening in 1949, McNamara—head of the Hamilton Credit Corporation in New York City—was dining out with two business associates. Their topic of discussion: one of McNamara’s clients, who was defaulting on a loan because he had shared his gasoline and department-store credit cards with some friends in need. Unfortunately, the friends didn’t have the money to pay back what they had borrowed, so the good samaritan was now facing his own financial demise.

As the meal ended, McNamara reached for his wallet so he could pick up the check. To his horror, he realized he had left it at home—and was forced to call his wife so she could bring him the cash he needed to settle the tab.

This fateful meal led to an invention that has transformed how the world handles money to this very day: the credit card. While previously available gasoline and department-store credit cards allowed users to make purchases at a single location, McNamara’s personal plight—and that of his well-meaning client—prompted him to create a credit card that could be used in multiple venues. The Diners Club card was born. In its first year, 200,000 consumers signed up for one.

The rest is history. After carefully observing Diners Club’s success, American Express and Bank Americard (soon to be renamed VISA) followed suit. Thank McNamara the next time you pay with plastic.

But has McNamara’s novel concept become more of a curse than a blessing in your life? Are your credit cards managing you—and is your debt spiraling out of control?

Here are 5 ways to tame the credit card beast.

1. Know Your Limits

If you have a tendency to overspend, limit your extravagances by relying on paper currency instead of plastic. Set spending limits before you leave the house, whether you’re shopping for groceries or heading to the mall to buy a new pair of shoes. If you find yourself reaching for your credit cards, freeze—and don’t move an inch until you can answer the following questions:

• Why am I breaking my own rule?

• Am I being self-destructive with my financial health?

• Do I really need this item, or is my ability to say “charge it!” clouding my good judgment?

2. Learn from McNamara’s Client

As McNamara’s client learned the hard way, loaning your credit cards to even those closest to you is a surefire way to accrue debt. You are giving your spouse, children, other relatives and/or friends carte blanche to spend up a storm—and you are the one who is legally obligated to pay the bills that will find their way into your mailbox at the end of the month. Be extremely selective when passing the plastic to anyone who can run up a bill—and fail to pay you back.

3. Show Interest in Interest

Surveys consistently show that most people make only the required minimum payment on their credit card bills each month, leaving them with an outstanding balance that continues to climb. Not only do additional purchases add up, but you are continually paying interest on your existing and new balances—a sometimes considerable fee that has catapulted many consumers into life-altering debt.

Today, the average American family, for example, owes approximately $8,000 on its credit cards—and the credit card companies could not be more pleased. If 115 million families owed you money—on which you earn finance charges and late fees every month—you would be positively giddy, too.

Let’s say you have an outstanding balance of $2,000 on a single credit card. Your annual interest rate is 9%, and your credit card company requires you to make a minimum $30 payment each month. Assuming you do not miss any payments (which would cause your interest rate to rise, as well as add late fees as high as $40 per month), it would take you 204 months to pay off this balance if you make only the minimum $30 payment each month—and by then, you will have paid an extra $1,028.43 in interest. This is how debt begins: A $2,000 charge winds up costing you $3,028.43.

4. Switch Cards

If you are still paying an annual fee on your credit card, it’s time to make the switch to a card that is not only free, but rewards you for using it.

Assuming you have good credit and can secure a new card, explore your options. Banks offer cards that award cash-back bonuses, airline miles, gasoline rebates and other perks each time you use them. If you can manage your credit appropriately, keep pace with payments and pay your bills on time, you may as well reap the benefits of your spending habits.

5. Read Your Statements—Carefully
Some consumers pay their credit card bills without carefully reviewing their statements. This is one of the most serious mistakes you can make—especially in an age of identity theft, when someone can use your card to make purchases in your name.

Always keep your credit card receipts, and check them against the bill when it arrives each month. Make sure every charge is accurate, and notify your credit card company immediately if there are any charges you did not make. The company can reverse the charge if it is a simple error—or if someone has used your card without authorization. In the latter case, ask the company to cancel the card, review any additional purchases made since that date and issue a new card with enhanced security features, such as a personal identification number (PIN), to be entered each time the card is used.

In addition, check due dates on credit card bills. You may be used to paying your bill by the 20th of each month, but credit card companies have been shortening the length of time consumers have to pay their balances. Very often, there is no notification of a policy change—or the fine print is buried somewhere on your statement. Note the payment due date each month, and try to pay the full amount to avoid accruing interest or late fees.
